Bas3line Edge Pro 3 Units Overgrip

£6.50

This Bas3line Edge Pro 3 units overgrip is a PU overgrip at 0.6mm thick and 5.0g, built around an ultra-tacky finish and a cushioned layer Bas3line says cuts vibration through the handle.

The weight and thickness sit right at the upper end of the range we already know overgrips generally run in, so this is a slightly thicker, slightly heavier grip than the market average rather than an outlier in either direction.

What the material and numbers tell you

Polyurethane, 110cm long, 0.6mm thick and 5.0g a wrap, Bas3line's own figures place this at the thicker, heavier end of overgrips generally; our own reference data on the category puts the typical range at 4.2 to 5g and 0.43 to 0.65mm, so this sits near the top of both rather than in the middle.

Bas3line describes an ultra-tacky finish, a moisture-absorbing surface for dry hands through a long match, and a cushioned layer it says reduces vibration and adds comfort. Those are the brand's own claims rather than something we've independently measured, so treat the tack and comfort description as marketing language backed by real material specs, not a lab result.

Three pack sizes

This is the 3-pack. Bas3line also sells the same overgrip as a 10-pack and a 60-piece box, which work out cheaper per grip the more you buy, in black or white.

Who it suits

Players who want a thicker, more cushioned overgrip than a standard tennis-length tacky wrap, particularly if vibration through the handle bothers you over a long session. If you're already buying into the brand, Bas3line's own Edge Pro balls and Edge Series bag complete the kit. Our padel grips page compares this against every overgrip we stock, the padel racket range has the rackets to fit it to, a racket protector and a tube of padel balls round out the rest, and our guide to choosing a padel racket is a good place to start if the racket side still needs deciding.

Not for you if

You prefer a thin, low-profile grip that keeps the handle close to its original feel. A standard 0.43 to 0.5mm overgrip adds less bulk.
