Women's Padel Shoes

Here are our padel shoes, women's sizes, all in one place: about sixty pairs from ASICS, Babolat, Wilson, Bullpadel, adidas, HEAD, Nox, K-Swiss and Joma, mostly in UK 3.5 to 9, from a Drop Shot clay shoe at about £36 to Bea González's Bullpadel Pearl Vibram at about £135. Each has a sole that copes with sand-dressed artificial grass. Below the grid is the guide we wish more shops wrote: which brands genuinely build on a women's last and which simply print the shoe smaller, what to do if your feet sit outside the usual size run, and whether women's padel shoes are really lighter (they are, though not for the reason you might think).

The guide

What is actually different about women's padel shoes?

The last, if the brand has bothered. A last is the foot-shaped form a shoe's upper is built around, and for a long time sports brands made women's shoes by taking a men's last and grading it down. That shortcut has been studied. A 2010 paper in Research in Sports Medicine scanned 424 women's feet in 3D against four men's running-shoe lasts, found width differences of up to 9 mm, and concluded that the use of down-graded men's lasts for women's shoes 'has to be questioned'. In plain terms: a scaled-down men's shoe tends to leave room where a woman's foot has none and squeeze where it needs space, and in a sport built on sideways lunges the heel is where you feel it first.

So the useful question is not men's or women's but which women's shoes are genuinely women's. ASICS makes the Game FF, Gel-Challenger 15 and Gel-Resolution X Padel on women's lasts. Wilson's Intrigue Tour is built on one, and the women's Hurakn Pro V2 has a heel and arch cut for the female foot. Babolat's Sensa line is a women's design, and Bullpadel runs women-only models such as the Pearl and Perf Comfort alongside women's versions of the Ionic, Indiga and Elite. HEAD is more candid than most: its women's Motion Pro shares the men's construction and HEAD does not claim a separate women's last, only a women's size chart.

For women, padel shoes come down to three questions, in this order: does the heel stay put in a lunge, does the sole suit your club's courts, and is your size actually in stock. Colour is a fourth question. We will not pretend it is not.

Searchers phrase it every way possible, ladies padel shoes, padel shoes womens, women's padel shoes, and the shoes are the same whichever you type. The fit advice is where the differences live.

The best padel shoes for women, matched to your game

Best depends on your foot and your court, so here is the pair we would suggest for each kind of player rather than a ranking. Every pick is in the grid above, in UK women's sizes. Where two shoes are close, we have gone with the one that is easier to get right first time.

If you take one thing from the table: narrow feet and ASICS get on; wider feet usually prefer Wilson or HEAD.

Women's padel shoe sizes: UK 3 to 9, and what to do either side of it

Most women's padel shoes we sell run from UK 4 or 5 to UK 8 or 8.5, with a few reaching 9 and a few starting at 3. If you sit in the middle, choice is generous. At either end it thins out fast, and that is where people buy the wrong shoe out of desperation.

Small feet, UK 3 to 4: the Drop Shot Sol starts at UK 2.5, the ASICS Gel-Dedicate 8 at UK 3 (about £42 against £63), and the adidas Courtquick, Wilson Courtglide and HEAD Revolt Pro 4 Clay at UK 3.5. Junior padel shoes are another route for very small feet, though they are built for children's weight and play, so we would try the women's options first.

Larger feet, UK 9 and up: the Wilson Hurakn Pro V2 and Courtglide, the HEAD Motion Pro 1.5 and the ASICS Gel-Resolution X Clay reach UK 9; the Gel-Dedicate 8 reaches 10. Beyond that, the men's padel shoes page is the honest answer. UK numbers measure the same length for men and women, so a UK 9.5 woman can order the men's UK 9.5 of the same model; expect a roomier heel, and lace with a runner's loop at the top eyelet to take up the slack.

Converting from US sizes is where most confusion starts. On these brands' charts a women's US size is usually two above the UK number (US 8.5 is about UK 6.5) and a men's US size one above. Spanish brands (Bullpadel, Nox, Joma, Drop Shot) print EU first, and Bullpadel runs about a size small by UK number, so measure in centimetres and use the brand's own chart.

Are women's padel shoes lighter? The same shoes, weighed

Yes, by about 30 to 75 g a shoe on the models where both versions have been weighed. Before anyone credits clever engineering, look at the sizes: Tennis Warehouse Europe weighs men's shoes at US 10.5 (about UK 9.5) and women's at US 8.5 (about UK 6.5). Three UK sizes of extra shoe account for most of the gap. A women's padel shoe in UK 6.5 is lighter than a men's UK 9.5 because there is less of it, which is reassuring, really, because it means the women's version is not a flimsier build.

Where weight genuinely helps is in the lighter, faster game many club players enjoy, and there the lightest women's shoes are worth a look: the ASICS Game FF at 261 g, the Wilson Hurakn Pro V2 at 286 g and the K-Swiss Ultrashot Light at about 312 g. If you land heavily, or play four times a week, the heavier shoes carry more foam and a stiffer chassis for a reason, and the ASICS Gel-Resolution X at 365 g is the one we would choose.

Sole and grip: women's padel shoes for British courts

UK padel courts are artificial grass with sand brushed into the pile, damp from autumn to spring, and the padel shoes guide covers the three sole types in detail. What follows is the women's range sorted by them, because some of the best-fitting women's shoes come with a sole that suits one kind of court far better than another.

Herringbone, for sandy outdoor courts: the ASICS Gel-Resolution X and Gel-Challenger 15 (modified herringbone in AHAR rubber), the Gel-Resolution X Clay (full herringbone), the Bullpadel Beker 24I at about £49 and the unisex Salming Rebel at about £60. Studs and omni, for well-brushed indoor courts: the Babolat Sensa's Michelin stud sole and the Joma Ultra Light at about £95, whose omni sole Joma itself describes as made to slide. Hybrid, for anyone playing at more than one venue: the Bullpadel Pearl Vibram, Perf Comfort 26I at about £81, Ionic 26V at about £100, and the Nox AT10 Lux and Pro.

One trap worth knowing: the Bullpadel Next 25I is recommended by a UK retailer for courts with less sand on top, so on a heavily sanded outdoor court a deeper herringbone will bite better. Our general reading, not a brand claim, is that damp, sandy British courts favour herringbone or hybrid over shallow studs. Unsure? Hybrid.

Women's padel shoes by brand: ASICS, Wilson, Babolat, Bullpadel, adidas and more

ASICS has the most complete women's padel line we carry, all three current models on women's lasts and all of them on the slim side: Game FF at about £59, Gel-Challenger 15 at about £84 and Gel-Resolution X at about £108. Older Gel-Dedicate 8 and Gel-Challenger 13 Clay colourways sit lower down the price list.

Wilson covers more foot shapes. The Courtglide at about £60 and Hurakn Lite at about £45 are the first-pair options, the Hurakn Pro V2 the light all-rounder, and the Intrigue Tour the premium women's-last shoe. Babolat's women's shoes are the Sensa in its 2026 and 2025 versions (about £99 and £80), both with Michelin rubber and a 10 mm drop. Bullpadel goes deepest at the top end, with the Pearl Vibram for Bea González, the Elite, Ionic, Perf Comfort, Indiga, Next and Beker.

adidas offers women's versions of the Courtquick (about £59) and Crazyquick Boost (about £103 against £140). Nox makes the AT10 Lux and AT10 Pro in women's sizes, though it publishes no weight for them. HEAD's Motion Pro 1.5 is the stability shoe with a sole developed with Mondo, the turf maker. K-Swiss and Joma round it out. Nike and On, often searched, make no padel shoe at all; the padel shoes page explains what to buy instead.

Women's padel shoes sale: last season and the clay-court bargains

Discounts on ladies padel shoes come from two places. The first is last season's colours of current models: Bullpadel releases each shoe as V (spring and summer) and I (autumn and winter), so 2025 versions such as the Bullpadel Next 25I and older Babolat Sensa drop once the new season lands. The Nox AT10 Pro at about £80 against £120 is a typical example.

The second is clay-court tennis shoes from ASICS, adidas, HEAD and K-Swiss, which share the herringbone sole that works on padel turf and clear at steep reductions: the HEAD Revolt Pro 4 Clay at about £84 against £134, the ASICS Gel-Challenger 13 Clay at about £63 against £101, the adidas Defiant Speed Clay at about £67 against £101. They are an excellent first pair for someone not yet sure padel will stick.

Check the size run before you fall for a price. Several sale listings are down to one or two sizes, and the women's padel shoes sale bargain that pinches is no bargain at all.

Matching women's padel shoes to a racket and a kit bag

Shoes come second, after the racket. The women's padel racket page covers the lighter frames many women prefer, and the how to choose a padel racket guide explains shape and balance if you are starting from scratch. Brand-matching is a pleasant extra, not a requirement: a Bullpadel Pearl racket with Pearl Vibram shoes looks the part, but an ASICS shoe will not mind a Babolat racket.

Then the small things that make a session easier. A tube of padel balls at £4 to £7, three overgrips from the padel grip page (overgrips also let you fine-tune the handle thickness, one thin layer at a time), and a padel bag with a separate shoe pocket once you start changing at the club, so the sand stays out of everything else you carry, and out of the car. Because almost every pair of women's padel shoes here clears £40 alone, the balls and grips travel free in the same tracked parcel.

  1. 1

    Measure in centimetres

Stand on paper, heel to a wall, mark the longest toe on each foot and measure. Buy for the longer one.

  2. 2

    Read the brand's chart

Use the centimetre column, not your usual UK number. Bullpadel, Nox and Joma size by EU and can differ by a full UK size.

  3. 3

Try them on late in the day

Wear the socks you play in. Leave about a thumb's width beyond the longest toe.

  4. 4

    Do a sideways lunge indoors

The heel should not lift and the foot should not slide across the insole. If it does, it goes back unworn within 30 days.

When a unisex or men's shoe is the better buy

Women's shoes are not always the right answer for women, and saying so is part of the job. If your foot is UK 9.5 or larger, the men's range is where the choice is. If your forefoot is broad and every women's shoe pinches, a men's or unisex shoe in your usual UK size often fits better, because the men's last is roomier; tighten the heel with lacing rather than going down a size. And if your favourite model is only made as unisex, like the Salming Rebel or the HEAD Motion Pro BOA, buy it in your UK size and judge it on the lunge test, not the label.

Women's Padel Shoes: questions people ask

Are womens padel shoes just smaller men's shoes?

Not from the brands that do it properly. ASICS, Wilson, Babolat and Bullpadel build women's models on women's lasts, with a slimmer heel relative to the forefoot. Some brands only change the size chart; HEAD, for example, does not claim a separate women's last for the Motion Pro.

What are the best padel shoes for women who are beginners?

The adidas Courtquick at about £59 or the ASICS Game FF at about £59 if your foot is slim. Both have a proper padel sole and suit once or twice a week. The Wilson Hurakn Pro V2 at about £80 is the step up for a medium-width foot.

Do womens ASICS padel shoes run small or narrow?

Narrow rather than small. The Game FF is narrow and the Gel-Challenger 15 slightly narrow, both true to length. The Gel-Resolution X is a snug medium and needs a short break-in. If your forefoot is broad, try Wilson or HEAD instead.

Which womens Wilson padel shoes should I choose?

The Hurakn Pro V2 at about £80 for a light, medium-width shoe with no break-in, the Intrigue Tour at about £110 for Wilson's premium women's last, or the Courtglide at about £60 for a first pair in UK 3.5 to 9.

Are womens Babolat padel shoes good for padel?

Yes. The Babolat Sensa is a women's padel shoe with a Michelin stud sole for sand and turf, Power Straps on both sides, KPRS-X heel cushioning and a 10 mm drop, in UK 4 to 8. It suits indoor and well-brushed courts best.

Can women wear men's padel shoes?

Yes. UK sizes measure the same length for both, so order your usual UK size. Men's shoes are roomier in the heel and forefoot, which suits a broad foot but may let a narrow heel lift. A runner's loop at the top eyelet helps.

What size padel shoe should I get if I am a UK 9.5 or 10?

The ASICS Gel-Dedicate 8 goes to UK 10. Beyond that, buy the men's version of the model you like in your UK size, since men's padel shoes run to UK 13.

Are ladies padel shoes lighter than men's?

Yes, by roughly 30 to 75 g a shoe on models weighed in both versions, but the men's figure is taken three UK sizes larger. Most of the difference is size, not a lighter build.

Where is the women's padel shoes sale?

In the grid above, filtered by sale. Last season's Bullpadel, Babolat and Nox shoes and clay-court shoes from ASICS, adidas and HEAD are reduced, some by 30 to 40 percent. Check the size run, as some have only one or two sizes left.

Do I need different padel shoes for indoor and outdoor courts?

Not necessarily. Herringbone suits sandy outdoor courts, studs suit well-brushed indoor courts, and a hybrid sole such as the Bullpadel Perf Comfort or Nox AT10 handles both. If you only buy one pair, choose hybrid.

How much is delivery on women's padel shoes?

Free over £40, which almost every pair clears; £3.95 below. Delivery is tracked and takes 3 to 4 working days, and unworn shoes can be returned within 30 days.
