Padel Racket Sale

A padel racket sale in October is mostly one thing: last season's flagship sitting next to this season's version of the same racket, with a price gap that can run past £150. The Nox AT10 Genius 18K Alum 2025 is on this page at £148.47 against a £301.69 RRP, and the 2027 edition of the same racket is £302.94. The Bullpadel Hack 04 26 is £153.12 against £268.17; the Hack 05 27 is £305.97. Every racket in the grid below is one we list with a real saving against the maker's RRP, and the guide underneath explains what the year codes mean, why the older racket is so often the same mould, and when the deeper discounts land. All of it sits under our padel racket range, which lists every racket we sell at every price.

The guide

Why is there a padel racket sale every autumn?

Because the brands launch next year's rackets this year. Nox put its 2027 collection on sale on 22 September 2026. StarVie followed in September, Bullpadel's 2027 range reached UK shops in early October, Siux published its 2027 line on 21 October, and Babolat's Viper 3.1 arrived through the autumn. Head renews half its range in alternate years and lands those in autumn too. So from October to December two seasons sit on every shelf in the country: the new one at RRP and the old one on its way down. That overlap is the padel racket sale. It is not a clear-out of rackets nobody wanted; it is the structural consequence of a calendar that puts a 2027 racket in your hands in 2026.

The scale of it is easy to miss from a single shop. Across the UK listings we catalogued in October 2026, 286 racket, shoe or bag products were discounted by 30% or more against a compare-at price, 32 rackets from 2024 or earlier were still on sale at a median 38% off, and the 2027 models were already listed for Bullpadel (41 products) and Nox. Padel rackets on sale, in other words, are not a corner of the market. In autumn they are most of it.

There is a longer story underneath. Playtomic and Strategy&'s 2024 Global Padel Report describes the 2023 racket market swinging into oversupply after brands over-ordered in 2021 and 2022, with Head Spain expecting stock to take up to a year to clear. Discounting the previous season has been baked into the trade ever since. A deep cut on last year's Vertex says nothing about the Vertex. It says the 2027 one has arrived.

One more piece of timing worth knowing: peak demand for rackets is June to August ("padel racket" searches hit 80,000 in July 2026 in the UK), which is nine months after launch, when the current season is at its most discounted and the next launch is three months away. The autumn sale is the start of the cycle. Summer is the bottom of it.

What do the numbers on a Bullpadel or Nox racket mean?

This is the single most useful thing to understand before buying anything from a padel racket sale, because the discount only makes sense once you know which racket you are looking at. Bullpadel is the clearest case and the most confusing until someone explains it. The name has three parts: the family (Vertex, Hack, Neuron, XPLO), the mould generation (03, 04, 05) and a two-digit season suffix (26, 27). The generation changes every two seasons; the suffix changes every year. So the Vertex 03 ran 2022 to 2023, the Vertex 04 ran 2024 to 2025, and the Vertex 05 is the 2026 and 2027 racket. Hack 03 ran 2022 to 2024, Hack 04 covered 2025 and 2026, and Hack 05 is new for 2027. The Neuron 02 is the 2026 and 2027 mould; the XPLO 02 is the 2027 one.

Read it that way and two things fall out. "Vertex 04 25" and "Vertex 05 26" are different rackets: different mould, a year apart in design. "Vertex 05 26" and "Vertex 05 27" are the same racket in different paint. The first pair is a comparison. The second is a price difference.

Nox uses letters for its pro lines (AT10 is Agustin Tapia's, ML10 Miguel Lamperti's, VK10 Aranzazu Osoro's, EA10 Edu Alonso's), then the mould name (Genius, Ventus), then the face code (18K Alum is aluminised 18K carbon, 12K Alum Xtrem is the stiffest 12K weave) and the year in the title. For 2027 Nox dropped the "Luxury" prefix, so "AT10 Luxury Genius 18K Alum" is the 2026 racket and "Genius 18K Alum by Agustin Tapia" without the word Luxury is the 2027. If a listing says Luxury, it is a season old or more. The other brands each have their own tell, and the table has them.

Decoded from the brands' own ranges and UK retailer titles in October 2026. About one racket listing in five across UK shops carries no year at all; we leave the year blank on those rather than guess.

Is the 2026 racket the same as the 2027?

When the mould number matches, usually, in the ways that matter on court. Same mould, same core, same face material, a new colourway and occasionally a tweak to the surface finish or a few grams inside the published weight window. The Bullpadel Neuron 02 Edge 26 on this page is £195.99 against a £310 RRP; the Neuron 02 Edge 27 is £296.97. That is the same 02 mould, a season apart, £101 between them, and Padelful actually rates the 2026 Edge the more forgiving of the two, with a bigger sweet spot and a slightly softer feel. The Vertex 05 W 26 is about £140 and the Vertex 05 W 27 about £220. We saw the plain Vertex 05 26 listed at a UK shop at about £157 in October 2026 against a €340 RRP, while the Vertex 05 27 lists at £305.94. Nobody has ever lost a point to a colourway.

Nox is the cleanest ladder of all because the model name stays put. The Genius 18K Alum is on this page in three editions: 2025 at £148.47 (RRP £301.69), 2026 at £247.47 (RRP £340) and 2027 at £302.94 (RRP £340). Nox raised the European RRP for 2027 from €349.95 to €389.99 and dropped the Luxury prefix, which is the whole of the visible difference. The published weight for the 2025 edition is 370 g and for the 2026 it is 365 g, and both sit inside the 15 g window Nox gives every racket, so we would not read anything into it. The 2025 edition was the best-selling racket at one UK shop we tracked this autumn, which tells you how many players have already done this sum. The 12K sits on the same ladder: the 2025 Genius 12K, a plain 12K carbon face over the same firm core, is the sale-priced way into the punchier side of the family now that the Genius 12K Alum Xtrem 2027 has replaced it, with the 2026 AT10 Luxury Genius 12K in between.

Our opinion, stated plainly: if the mould number has not changed, buy the older edition and put the difference into a pair of padel shoes or a season of balls. The racket is identical. The saving is real. The only argument for the new paint is that you like the new paint, which is a fine reason as long as you know it is the reason. The caution is that a new season can still change the feel, mould number or not: Padelful scores Bea González's Pearl 27 well below the Pearl 2026 edition for sweet spot and handling, so the two editions are worth comparing before you buy either.

When the generation changes it is a different conversation. The Hack 05 27 is a new mould, not a Hack 04 in new colours, and Bullpadel calls the 2027 XPLO the XPLO 02 for the same reason (its Fibrix-faced sibling is the XPLO Comfort 27). Dunlop's FX range replaced Galactica outright. Head renewed the Extreme for 2026, so a 2025 Extreme Pro is the older design while a 2025 Speed Pro is still the current one. These older rackets can still be very good buys, and several on this page are, but compare them as separate rackets with separate specs, not as the same one at two prices.

The biggest padel racket deals right now, by family

The table takes the families where last season and this season are both on the site and puts the two prices side by side, with the mould question answered in the last column. Prices are what we charge; the RRP is the highest list price we saw for that edition across UK retailers in October 2026. Where the newer edition shows little or no discount, that is because it has just launched. Click a name for the product page, which carries the full spec table and the same comparison.

Two things stand out. The biggest percentage cuts belong to rackets whose replacement is a new mould (Vertex 04, Hack 04, Galactica Pro), and the biggest pure same-racket saving is the Nox Genius 2025 at roughly half the price of the 2027. If you want the single best padel deal on this page for an intermediate or advanced player, that Genius is it, and it has been the obvious answer for a year.

  • Current-season rackets with a real cut already: the adidas Metalbone 2026 at £237.99 against £340 and the Metalbone HRD+ 2026 at £214 against £340. The 6K Metalbone Carbon 2026 is the cheaper way into the same diamond shape, and the 2025 Black Crown Piton White Soft is a last-season round racket. adidas's range is still labelled 2026 rather than 2027, so it is a season further into its cycle than the Spanish brands' new launches, and the prices show it.
  • Older but excellent: the Siux Electra ST3 Stupa Pro at £96.35 against £233.80 is a generation behind the ST4 but won Testea's lab-based Best Hybrid Power award in 2024. An intermediate racket at a beginner price, if you accept the age.
  • Half-price club rackets: the Bullpadel Vertex 04 Comfort 2025 at £92.15 against £184.35 and the Siux Trilogy Elite 6 2026 at £92.15 against £226.26, both round or diamond frames with a softer feel than the pro versions.
  • A genuine small cut on a current-season diamond: the Pallap Power Star 2026 at £152.09 against a £169 RRP, a brand new enough that deep discounts are rare.

Our price is the median UK shop price for that edition and the RRP is the highest list price seen across UK retailers, both from our October 2026 catalogue snapshot. Gaps are rounded to the pound. The 2027 Bullpadel, Nox and Babolat flagships sit at or near RRP because they launched in September and October.

When do padel rackets go on sale? The year in discounts

The padel racket sale UK shoppers see in October is the beginning of the cycle, not the bottom. The pattern, from the launch dates the brands published and the search data we track, runs like this: the new season lands from late September to early November and the outgoing one starts dropping within weeks; Black Friday deepens the cut on the outgoing season at the end of November; December belongs to bags and gifts rather than rackets; January brings a second lift in racket searches and a final push on leftovers; and the deepest prices on a current-mould racket show up in summer, nine months after launch, when demand peaks and the next launch is three months out.

Which means there is no single right month. There is a right month for a given racket. If you want this season's mould at the lowest price, wait for next summer. If you want last season's identical twin before the sizes and colours run out, buy in October or November. If you want a two-season-old frame at a silly price, January and the summer run-outs are where they appear, with the caveats in the section after Black Friday.

Launch dates from the brands' own sites and UK retailer listings, October 2026. Search figures from Ahrefs UK, October 2026. Black Friday and Cyber Monday are calendar dates; the Black Month observation is from Akkeron's site on 24 October 2026.

Black Friday padel rackets: what actually gets discounted

Black Friday falls on 27 November in 2026, and the Spanish brands no longer wait for it. Akkeron had a "Black Month" countdown running on its site on 24 October, and the pattern across the trade is a month of pressure from late October to Cyber Monday on 30 November. What moves is the outgoing season: the 2026 Bullpadel and Nox rackets, the 2025 Head and Wilson frames, and the current-season rackets from brands that launched early (adidas is already 30% off its 2026 Metalbone in October). What does not move, or barely, is a flagship that launched six weeks earlier. The Vertex 05 27, the Hack 05 27 and the Genius 18K Alum 2027 are listed at or near RRP everywhere, and a few pounds off in late November is the most anyone should expect.

So black friday padel rackets are last season's rackets, a little deeper than they were in October. The honest advice is that Black Friday is a good day to buy a racket you have already chosen and a bad day to choose one. The pages that shout loudest about a padel racket discount on the day are selling whatever they have most of, and the racket you actually want, in the weight you want, has a habit of selling out on the Wednesday. Decide the family, decide the edition, know the current RRP, and then let the day do what it does.

If you are buying a racket as a gift, the December figures in the table are worth a glance: racket searches do not peak at Christmas, bags and gift searches do. A padel bag or a racket cover with a tube of balls is a safer present than a racket in a shape the player did not choose, and it is what most people end up giving.

What does clearance mean on a padel racket?

Three different things, and the word gets used for all of them in every padel sale, which is why it pays to look past the label in any padel racket sale. Clearance can mean the run-out of last season's colourway: the same mould as the new racket, the best kind of clearance there is, and most of what is on this page. It can mean a discontinued model or range, where the maker has stopped making it altogether: the Dunlop Galactica line after FX arrived, the Head Speed Pro X from 2023, the Siux ST3 after the ST4. Those can be very good rackets, but there will be no next edition to compare against and no replacement if you crack one and love it. And it can mean ex-display or returned units, which an honest shop labels as such and which we do not list on this page.

Padel racket clearance across the UK trade has a long tail. Most padel rackets for sale at a discount right now are recent: of the 257 discounted rackets on this site, 180 are 2025 or 2026 editions. Of the rackets we catalogued across UK shops in October 2026, 32 were from 2024 or earlier and still on sale at a median 38% off, and some went far deeper: a Head Speed Pro X 2023 at 70% off its original £318.46, a Bullpadel XPLO TF 24 at 68% off £335.22. The percentage is accurate. It is also measured against an RRP the maker set two or three product cycles ago for a racket it has since replaced twice.

How we label things here. Every racket on this page carries a compare-at price that is the highest RRP we saw for that exact edition across UK retailers, and our price is the median of what UK shops charge. If an edition had no RRP we could verify, it does not get a sale badge, however cheap it is. The year, where the maker gives one, is in the title; where no retailer or brand page states a year, we leave it blank rather than invent one.

What to avoid in a padel racket sale

Do not buy a racket because the percentage is big. A 70% cut on a 2023 frame is a smaller saving than a 50% cut on a 2025 one, because the 2023 RRP is a fiction nobody has paid for years and the racket has been superseded twice. Our rule is to measure every saving against what the current edition costs today, not against the old RRP, and to ask what the frame has been doing since it was made. EVA foam softens in heat and stiffens in cold, which is well documented and the reason a hard pro core that feels crisp in Madrid feels like a plank on a British court in January. A frame that has spent two summers on a display hook under shop lights is, in our experience, not the racket its spec sheet describes, and we would not pay more than a club-racket price for one however good the name on it.

Do not buy this if you are a beginner: a two-season-old 370 g hard-core diamond at 60% off. It is still a 370 g hard-core diamond, built for a player who hits a flat smash twenty times a set, and your elbow does not read the price tag. The Head Speed Pro X 2023 at £96.35 and the Bullpadel XPLO TF 24 at £108.92 are both on the site because advanced players ask for them at that money, and we have said on both pages who they are for. For a first racket, the entry frames in the next section are a better buy at the same price.

Be careful with no-year listings and with obscure RRPs. About one racket listing in five across UK retailers carries no year, and on those you cannot know whether you are buying last season or three seasons back; ask, or pick a racket where the year is stated. A 76% discount on a brand you have never heard of, against an RRP that was only ever a number on a Spanish website, is not a saving of anything. And check the generation code every time: a Vertex 04 at half the price of a Vertex 05 is a different racket at a lower price, which may be exactly what you want, but only if you know it.

Good

  • Last season's edition of the same mould: the Genius 2025, the Neuron 02 Edge 26, the Defy Pro V1 2025, or the [2025 ML10 Pro Cup Rough Surface](/products/nox-ml10-pro-cup-rough-surface), which Padelful scores quicker in the hand than its 2027 replacement
  • A light carbon racket a season old, such as the [2026 Ventus Hybrid 12K Lite](/products/nox-ventus-hybrid-12k-lite-2026), 5 g heavier than its [2027 successor](/products/nox-ventus-hybrid-12k-lite) and otherwise the same recipe
  • A previous-generation flagship compared on its own specs, not as a stand-in for the new one, such as the [2026 EA10 Ventus Hybrid](/products/nox-ea10-ventus-hybrid-12k-xtreme), renamed for 2027 with an unchanged spec sheet
  • Current-season rackets already discounted because the brand's range is still labelled 2026 (adidas Metalbone)
  • A 2025 carbon racket still sold at a cut, such as the [Nox Future Attack](/products/nox-future-attack-12k-alum), a high-balance diamond that Padelful scores 9.6 for power
  • Entry rackets with a modest cut for a first season

Not so good

  • Three-season-old frames bought on the percentage alone
  • Hard-core pro diamonds as a first racket, whatever the discount
  • Listings with no year and no stated RRP
  • Any "deal" measured against an RRP for an edition the maker has since replaced

Discount padel rackets under £100: entry racket or old flagship?

There are two kinds of racket under £100 on this page and they are not interchangeable. The first is the entry racket with a modest cut: the Nox X-Hero 2026 at about £51 against £60, the Bullpadel Indiga Control 26 at about £60 against £100, the Dunlop FX Start 2026 at about £54 against £80, the round Dunlop Megamax at a similar discount, the adidas Match 2026 at about £54 against £65. Round or hybrid shapes, soft cores, fibreglass or light carbon faces, 350 to 370 g. These are the rackets that top every UK best-seller list and they are discounted a little because the whole band is competitive, not because anything is wrong with them.

The second kind is the old flagship at half price or better: the Vertex 04 Comfort 2025 at £92.15, the Trilogy Elite 6 at £92.15, the Babolat Air Crest 2026 at £58.63 against £150.83, the 2026 Technical Viper 3.0 for attackers who want a Viper without the new-launch premium, the Tecnifibre Wall Breaker 365 2024 at £87.17 against £220. Better materials, harder cores, more power, more demand on technique. For an intermediate player these are the discount padel rackets worth the trip. For a first racket, our advice is the entry frame every time; the best padel racket for beginners page and the cheap padel racket page go through the reasons, and our six-question racket finder will narrow it to three.

Juniors get their own corner of the sale. The Nox AT10 Genius Ultralight is about £57 against £67, the Bullpadel Vertex Junior Girl 26 about £56 against £80 and the Dunlop Galactica Junior 2025 about £38 against £60. All are 310 to 340 g frames built for small hands rather than cut-down adult rackets, and the kids padel racket page explains how to size one.

How to tell if a padel racket discount is real

A padel deal is only a deal measured against what the current racket costs today. The RRP on the label tells you what the maker hoped for when the racket launched; the price of this season's edition tells you what the market thinks the racket is worth now. Six checks, in the order we do them on every racket before it gets a sale badge here.

  1. 1

    Find the year

In the title for Nox, Head, Dunlop and adidas from 2026; the two-digit suffix for Bullpadel; the version number for Babolat and Wilson. No year stated means you ask before you buy.

  2. 2

    Find the mould generation

Bullpadel 04 or 05, Nox Luxury or not, Babolat 3.0 or 3.1, Wilson V1 or V2. Same generation means same racket; a new generation means compare the specs.

  3. 3

    Find the current edition's price

Not its RRP, its price. The Bullpadel 2027 flagships list at about £306, the Genius 18K Alum 2027 at about £303. That is the number the saving is measured against.

  4. 4

Check the compare-at price is for this edition

A 2025 racket shown against a 2027 RRP is a mistake or worse. Ours is the highest RRP seen for that exact edition across UK retailers.

  5. 5

Check the published weight and balance

    Every brand gives a 10 to 15 g window. A 370 g edition and a 365 g edition of the same mould are the same racket; a 355 g W or Light edition is a different one.

  6. 6

A £150 gap is a pair of shoes and a season of balls. If the older edition is the same mould, that is the trade. If it is a different racket, go back to the spec table and our racket guide.

Delivery and returns on sale rackets

Sale rackets ship exactly like full-price ones: a tracked UK service, 3 to 4 working days, free over £40 and £3.95 below it, which in practice means almost every racket on this page travels free. Rackets travel boxed, and the delivery page has the detail. Add balls, an overgrip or a racket protector to the order and they ride in the same parcel.

Returns are the same too: 30 days to send back anything unused for a refund, sale badge or not. Keep the wrapper on the grip and the protective film on the head until you are sure, because a racket that has hit a ball is a used racket and cannot come back. If a racket arrives damaged, photograph it and tell us within 48 hours and we replace it. The returns page covers the rest.

If none of the rackets in the grid above is the one, the full padel racket range lists every racket we sell at every price, and the Bullpadel and advanced racket pages carry the current-season flagships at RRP alongside their discounted twins, so you can see both prices on one screen before you decide.

Padel Racket Sale: questions people ask

When is the best time to buy a padel racket?

For last season's edition of a racket whose mould has not changed, October and November, before the popular weights sell out. For the current season's mould at its lowest price, the following summer, nine months after launch. Black Friday deepens the autumn cut on the outgoing season but rarely touches a flagship that launched six weeks earlier.

Is the 2026 Bullpadel Vertex 05 the same racket as the 2027?

Yes. The 05 is the mould generation and covers both the 2026 and 2027 seasons; the two-digit suffix is only the season. The 26 and 27 editions share the mould, core and face and differ in colour. The Vertex 04, by contrast, is the 2024 to 2025 mould and is a different racket.

What does the 27 mean on a Bullpadel racket?

The season: a 27 racket is from the 2027 range, which went on sale in the UK in early October 2026. The number before it (Vertex 05, Hack 05, Neuron 02) is the mould generation, which changes every two seasons. So a Hack 04 26 is the 2026 edition of the fourth Hack mould, and a Hack 05 27 is the first edition of the fifth.

Do padel rackets go on sale for Black Friday?

Last season's rackets do, and the cut is usually the deepest of the year on those. New-season flagships move a few pounds at most. Spanish brands now run "Black Month" promotions from late October, so the pressure on prices starts well before 27 November 2026. Choose the racket first and let the day do the rest.

Why is last year's padel racket so much cheaper than this year's?

Because the brands launch next year's rackets in autumn, so for three months two seasons are on sale at once and the older one has to clear. Add a market that over-ordered in 2021 and 2022 and has discounted the previous season ever since. A deep cut on last year's model is normal, not a sign the racket was poor.

Is it worth buying a two-year-old padel racket in a sale?

Sometimes, if you compare it on its own specs and the price is right for what it is. Be wary of judging it by the percentage off an RRP from two product cycles ago, and of frames that have sat on display through two summers, because EVA foam changes with heat. For a first racket, an entry frame at about £55 is the better buy.

What is a padel racket clearance?

Usually the run-out of last season's colourway, which is the same mould as the new racket and the best kind of clearance. It can also mean a discontinued model or range, or ex-display units, which a good shop labels. Check the year and the mould generation and the word stops mattering.

Are discount padel rackets good for beginners?

The entry rackets with a small discount are: round or hybrid shapes, soft cores, 350 to 370 g, from about £51. A half-price pro diamond is not a beginner racket however cheap it is; it is still a hard, head-heavy 370 g frame built for an advanced player, and it will not help you learn.

Does the Nox AT10 Genius 18K Alum 2025 play the same as the 2027?

It is the same model with the same 18K Alum face and the same Genius mould; Nox dropped the "Luxury" prefix for 2027 and raised the RRP. Published weights differ by 5 g, inside the 15 g window Nox gives every racket. The 2025 edition is £148.47 here against £302.94 for the 2027.

How do I know the RRP shown in a padel racket sale is real?

Ask which edition it belongs to. Our compare-at price is the highest RRP we found for that exact edition across UK retailers in October 2026, and our price is the median UK shop price. A 2025 racket shown against a 2027 RRP, or against a figure that only ever appeared on a Spanish website, is not a real saving.

Are there kids padel rackets in the sale?

Yes. The Nox AT10 Genius Ultralight is about £57 against £67, the Bullpadel Vertex Junior Girl 26 about £56 against £80 and the Dunlop Galactica Junior 2025 about £38 against £60. All are 310 to 340 g junior frames, not cut-down adult rackets.

Do sale rackets have the same delivery and returns as full-price ones?

Yes. Tracked UK delivery in 3 to 4 working days, free over £40 and £3.95 below, and 30 days to return anything unused. Keep the grip wrapper and head film on until you are sure, because a racket that has been played with cannot come back.
