Bullpadel XPLO Comfort 27 Padel Racket

£215.50

The Bullpadel XPLO Comfort is the softer version of the XPLO, Bullpadel's geometric power racket, for attacking players who want explosive pace without the hard edge of a carbon face. The 2027 edition, also listed as the XPLO CMF 27, swaps the standard racket's 3K carbon for Fibrix, a glass and carbon mix, over a MultiEVA core, at 365 to 375 g.

Tennis Warehouse Europe describes it as noticeably more comfortable than the XPLO while keeping strong power and ball output. Nobody has published test scores for this edition yet, so we'll stick to what the build and the sellers' sheets tell us.

XPLO Comfort or the standard XPLO?

The XPLO is Martin Di Nenno's power line, and its 2027 version, the XPLO 02 27, is a hard-hitting racket with a 3K carbon face: Padelful scored it 9.9 for power but only 7.8 for its sweet spot. The Comfort keeps the geometric head and the head-heavy balance and changes the face. Fibrix flexes more than carbon, so the ball comes off with more give, mishits sting less and slower swings still get depth.

The trade is the familiar Comfort trade. You lose some of the crisp, explosive feedback of carbon in exchange for tolerance. Tennis Warehouse Europe points it at advanced players who want explosive power with more comfort, which is a fair summary.

What the geometric head does

Bullpadel's geometric shape widens the upper sides of a diamond, which moves more of the hitting area up where you meet the ball on an overhead. Tennisnuts lists the Comfort's head at about 535 cm², and Tennis Warehouse Europe describes the sweet spot as high and generous, so off-centre smashes keep more of their pace. Sellers disagree on the balance: one calls it high, another medium. Expect it to feel head-heavy, as every XPLO does.

The rough 3D Grain surface helps the ball bite on slice and the vibora, and the XPLO Core² inside is the second generation of the core Bullpadel designed for this line.

Which of Bullpadel's Comfort rackets?

Bullpadel builds Comfort versions of its pro lines (the Neuron 02 has one too), and they share the idea of a glass-and-carbon face. The XPLO Comfort is the one with the geometric head and the biggest hitting area; the Vertex 05 Comfort 27 is the classic diamond, rated 9.7 for rebound on Padelful in its 2026 form; the Hack 05 Comfort 27 is the Fibrix version of the hardest-hitting line; and last season's Vertex 04 Comfort 2025 is the older diamond that still hits hard.

Who should buy the XPLO Comfort?

Attacking players, intermediate and up, who love the idea of the XPLO but find a carbon power racket harsh over a long match. Tennis Warehouse Europe lists it at intermediate level in its spec table and pitches it at advanced players in its copy, so think of it as a strong club player's racket. The diamond padel rackets page and the advanced padel rackets page show what else sits in the same space.

Not for you if

You defend more than you attack, you want quick hands at the net, or you're a beginner. It's a head-heavy power racket with a softer face, not a soft racket. Defenders should look at the round or teardrop rackets on the control padel racket page.

Kitting out the XPLO Comfort

A cushioned handle adds to the comfort: the Bullpadel Hesacore Gel grip replaces the stock grip, and the padel grips page covers overgrips too. Protect the wide head with Bullpadel frame protection tape; more options are on the racket protector page.

For balls, a tube of Bullpadel Premium Pro suits damp UK courts, and our padel balls page explains why fresh pressure matters. The XPLO racket bag matches the line, and proper padel shoes matter more than any racket on sand-filled turf. The Bullpadel rackets page, the full padel racket range and our guide to choosing a padel racket cover the rest.

Bullpadel XPLO Comfort 27 Padel Racket: questions people ask

Is the XPLO Comfort 27 the same as the XPLO CMF 27?

Yes. CMF is Bullpadel's short form of Comfort, and Bullpadel's own listing uses XPLO CMF 27. Some shops also call it the XPLO 02 Comfort.

Is the Bullpadel XPLO Comfort good for intermediate players?

For an intermediate who attacks and already times the ball well, yes. It is more forgiving than the carbon XPLO, but it is still a head-heavy power racket, not a beginner frame.

What is the difference between the XPLO Comfort and the XPLO 02?

Both have the geometric head and a head-heavy balance. The XPLO 02 uses a 3K carbon face and hits harder; the Comfort uses Fibrix, which is softer, more tolerant and kinder on mishits.

How should I look after a Bullpadel XPLO Comfort?

Fit frame protection tape on the wide head, keep it in a cover, and keep it out of hot cars. Replace the grip or overgrip when it turns shiny.

How heavy is the Bullpadel XPLO Comfort 27?

Retailers list 365 to 375 g with a head-heavy balance, a 38 mm profile and a hitting area of about 535 cm².

Has the XPLO Comfort 27 been independently tested?

Not that we could find. The standard XPLO 02 27 scores 9.9 for power on Padelful, and the Comfort trades some of that punch for a softer, more tolerant face.
