Bullpadel Hack Comfort 05 27 Padel Racket

£215.50

The Bullpadel Hack Comfort is the club player's Hack: the same attacking diamond, rebuilt with a Fibrix glass-and-carbon face and a soft-touch MultiEVA core so it forgives more and costs your arm less. The 2027 edition, the Hack 05 Comfort 27, weighs 360 to 370 g with a high balance, for intermediate and advanced players who attack from the net.

It gives up some of the pro Hack's raw power and gains a full point of sweet spot. For most people who like the look of a Hack, that's the better deal.

  • Diamond, high balance
  • 360 to 370 g
  • Fibrix Hybrid (glass and carbon) face
  • Soft-touch MultiEVA core
  • Padelful power 8.5
  • Intermediate to advanced

Hack Comfort or the pro Hack 05?

The Hack 05 27 is Paquito Navarro's racket: TriCarbon 18K faces, 365 to 375 g, and a perfect 10 for power on Padelful, with a 7.0 sweet spot and a dry feel. The Comfort swaps the 18K carbon for Fibrix and softens the core. Padelful scores its power 8.5 and control 8.0, both well below the pro racket, but its sweet spot rises to 8.1.

That's the trade in one line: about one and a half points of power for a point of forgiveness. Unless you hit the middle of the face on almost every overhead, the Comfort will win you more points.

How the Hack Comfort plays

Lively. Padelful rates rebound at 9.1, so the ball leaves the baseline with little effort, volleys carry weight on a compact swing, and the smash and bandeja go deep without a perfect strike. Its testers called it an attacking diamond that's more forgiving than the hard diamonds it shares a shelf with.

The same liveliness has a cost. Touch shots can fly long, low late blocks need early preparation, and it isn't as quick to flick round in a fast net exchange as a lighter, lower-balanced racket. A medium-soft feel means the feedback is cushioned rather than crisp.

Hack Comfort, Vertex Comfort or XPLO Comfort?

Bullpadel builds Comfort versions of three diamonds. The Vertex 05 Comfort 27 is the softest-hitting: Padelful's 2026 scores give it 7.0 for power and 9.7 for rebound, a racket that does most of the work for you. The XPLO Comfort 27 puts the Fibrix face on Martín Di Nenno's XPLO 02 power racket. The Hack Comfort keeps a point and a half more power than the Vertex Comfort, with a little less free depth.

Is the Hack 05 Comfort different from the Hack 04 Comfort?

Barely, on Padelful's numbers. The 2026 Hack 04 Comfort scored 8.5 for power, 8.0 for control, 9.1 for rebound and 8.4 for handling, exactly as the 05 does, and its sweet spot was 7.9 against 8.1. Both are medium-soft, Fibrix-faced diamonds at 360 to 370 g. If you liked the 04 Comfort, the 05 will feel like the same old friend in new colours. For the stiffer pro racket of that season, Paquito Navarro's Hack 04 26 is still on the site. Go back one more mould to the Hack 03 CMF X-Series and you get the same power with more bounce and less control.

Who should buy the Hack Comfort?

Intermediate and advanced players who attack from the net, play two or three times a week and want a racket that keeps the ball moving without punishing every slightly late overhead. It's also the Hack to choose if a stiff 18K frame has left your forearm tired. Our diamond padel racket and best padel racket for intermediate players pages list the alternatives.

Not for you if

You play a delicate, touch-and-placement game, you want the crispest feedback you can get, or you're still learning your overhead. The rebound can carry touch shots long. A round racket from the control padel racket page suits placement players better.

Grip, bag and balls for a Hack Comfort

The cushioned feel pairs well with a cushioned grip: the Bullpadel Hesacore Gel grip slips under an overgrip, and our padel grips page explains how. A diamond head meets the floor on low volleys, so fit a protector; the racket protector page has options.

For balls, a dozen Bullpadel Premium Pro suits damp UK courts, and our padel balls page explains why fresh tubes matter. The Hack racket bag and the Hack Vibram 26I shoe carry the family name; every shoe for sand-dressed turf is on our padel shoes page. The Bullpadel rackets page, the full padel racket range and our guide to choosing a padel racket cover the rest.

Bullpadel Hack Comfort 05 27 Padel Racket: questions people ask

Is the Bullpadel Hack Comfort the same as the Hack 05?

No. It shares the Hack diamond shape but uses a Fibrix face and a soft-touch core instead of TriCarbon 18K. Padelful scores it 8.5 for power against 10 for the Hack 05, with a sweet spot of 8.1 against 7.0.

Is the Bullpadel Hack 05 Comfort good for intermediate players?

Yes, for intermediates who already attack at the net. It is lively and more forgiving than a hard diamond, though it still rewards a reasonable overhead.

Hack Comfort or Vertex Comfort: which should I buy?

The Hack Comfort has more power and control on Padelful; the Vertex Comfort has more free rebound and a slightly bigger sweet spot. Attackers lean Hack; players who want the racket to do more of the work lean Vertex.

How should I look after a Bullpadel Hack Comfort?

Keep it in a cover away from heat, fit a frame protector before you play and change the overgrip when it turns smooth. A soft core lasts best when it is not left in a hot car.

How heavy is the Bullpadel Hack 05 Comfort 27?

Bullpadel lists 360 to 370 g with a high balance, about 5 g lighter at each end of the window than the pro Hack 05.

Is the Hack 05 Comfort better than the Hack 04 Comfort?

They are very close. Padelful scores the 05 Comfort the same as the 04 Comfort for power, control, rebound and handling, with a slightly bigger sweet spot (8.1 against 7.9).
