Bullpadel Hack 04 26 Padel Racket

£153.12

The Bullpadel Hack 04 is Paquito Navarro's attacking diamond, built for advanced left-side players who want the smash to end the point, and the 26 is its 2026 edition. An 18K TriCarbon face, a MultiEVA core and a high balance on 365 to 375 g add up to one of the hardest-hitting rackets Bullpadel makes: Padelful scored its power a flat 10.

It is the second season of the 04 mould, so it shares a frame with the 2025 Hack 04, and it has since been replaced by the Hack 05 27. That is why it now sits in our padel racket sale.

If you want the racket to help you, look elsewhere. If you want it to obey you, read on.

Bullpadel Hack 04 or Vertex: which attacking diamond?

The question every Bullpadel buyer asks sooner or later. Both are carbon diamonds with the weight high, and on Padelful's scale the Hack 04 26 and the Vertex 05 of the same season both average 8.7. They get there in opposite ways. The Hack takes power to 10 and control to 9.0; the Vertex trades a little of that for a sweet spot of 9.2 against the Hack's 8.2 and a livelier rebound.

In plain terms: the Vertex forgives the shot you half-mishit, and the Hack makes the shot you hit perfectly go a yard further. Most club players are better served by forgiveness. A small number of very good ones will never want anything else once they've hit a Hack smash out of the court.

Bullpadel Hack 04 review: how the 26 plays

Volleys come off heavy and fast, the bandeja and vibora stay stable, and the flat smash is clean and violent: those are the strengths Padelful's testers picked out, and Padel Al Reves found this generation faster through the air and more stable than older Hacks. The touch is medium-hard. You hear it as much as feel it.

Defence is the bill. Blocks and lobs need a committed swing, and late or lazy timing gets punished; PadelVerdict's summary, that if you want help this is not the one, is about as honest as racket reviews get. The comparison with last year's paint job is kinder. Padelful rated the 2025 Hack 04 at 7.9 for sweet spot and the 26 at 8.2, so the newer edition is the slightly more forgiving of the two 04s. The 2025 season also came as a limited magenta edition, the Hack 04 Premier Tour Finals, which plays like the standard 2025 and costs more for the livery.

Hack 04 26, Hack 05 or one of the softer Hacks?

The newer Hack 05 keeps the power at 10 but Padelful scores its sweet spot at 7.0, the lowest of the three recent Hacks, so the 26 is the more usable racket for anyone short of tour level. If you like the idea of a Hack but not its demands, Bullpadel builds friendlier versions on the same name.

What does 18K TriCarbon actually do?

The K is the number of carbon filaments, in thousands, bundled into each strand of the weave. An 18K face uses fatter bundles than the 12K on the Vertex or the 3K on many mid-range rackets, which tends to make it coarser and stiffer. That much is fair. What nobody has shown is a measured gain in ball speed from 18K over 12K, so treat the number as a description of feel and a marker of where the racket sits in the range.

The feel is the part you'll notice: firm, direct and a little dry. Paired with the rough 3D surface, it grips the ball well on slice and the vibora.

Should you skip the Hack 04?

Most players should, and there is no shame in it. (Siux's Fenix Pro is the nearest rival on hardness and power.) Padelful's testers aimed it at advanced players comfortable on the left side, and the reviews keep returning to the same warning about timing. If you are still building your game, the best padel racket for intermediate players page will serve you better, and the diamond padel rackets page has gentler diamonds alongside it.

Not for you if

Your timing isn't automatic yet, you play mostly from the back, or you're looking for comfort. A medium-hard 18K face on a head-heavy frame gives nothing away, and a sore forearm after a week of it is a sign to choose a softer build such as the Hack 05 Comfort. If what you really want is control with some bite, Chingotto's Neuron 02 Edge 2026 scores 9.6 for control with a far bigger sweet spot, and Di Nenno's XPLO 26 comes close to the Hack's power (9.7) with a little more margin.

Setting up and kitting out a Hack 04

Grip first. A firmer racket feels harsher through a worn grip, so many players swap the stock grip for a cushioned one such as the Bullpadel Hesacore Gel grip; our padel grips page explains replacement grips against overgrips. Then the frame: a pack of Bullpadel Pro frame protectors saves the head from the floor, and the racket protector page has other sizes.

A tube of Bullpadel Next balls is a sound everyday choice, and the padel balls page covers how quickly pressure fades. For the matching look, the Hack racket bag matches the colours and the Hack Vibram men's shoe completes the set; every style for sand-filled turf is on our padel shoes page.

Weighing up the Hack against every other brand? The full padel racket range sits on one page, every Bullpadel we sell is on the Bullpadel rackets page, the advanced padel rackets list puts it among its rivals, and our guide to choosing a padel racket explains shape and balance from the start. If a child in the family wants the same look at a weight they can actually swing, the Hack Junior 26 carries the design down to 335 to 345 g.

Bullpadel Hack 04 26 Padel Racket: questions people ask

Is the Bullpadel Hack 04 26 the same racket as the Hack 04 2025?

Same 04 mould and the same published specs: 18K TriCarbon, MultiEVA, diamond, 365 to 375 g. The 26 is the 2026 colourway. Padelful scored the two almost identically, with the 26 a little ahead on sweet spot and the 2025 described as the gentler option.

What level do you need for the Bullpadel Hack 04?

Advanced. Testers aim it at players comfortable on the left side with solid technique and automatic timing. Intermediate players get more from a hybrid or a Comfort version.

Is the Hack 04 more powerful than the Vertex 05?

On Padelful, yes: power 10 against 8.5 for the 2026 editions. The Vertex has the bigger sweet spot (9.2 against 8.2) and more rebound, so it is the easier of the two to play well.

How do I protect a Bullpadel Hack 04?

Fit frame protector tape before the first match, keep it in a cover or a bag with a thermal pocket, and avoid leaving it in a car on hot or freezing days. Check the protector every few weeks; once it wears through, the frame takes the knocks.

What does the Bullpadel Hack 04 26 weigh?

Bullpadel lists 365 to 375 g with a high balance, so it feels heavier in the hand than the number suggests. It is 38 mm thick, the maximum the rules allow.

Does Paquito Navarro play the Hack 04?

The Hack is Paquito Navarro's signature line and the 04 was his racket for 2025 and 2026. For 2027 the Hack 05 replaces it.
