Bullpadel Neuron 02 Edge 2026 Padel Racket

£195.99

The Bullpadel Neuron 02 Edge 2026 is the previous season's edition of Fede Chingotto's control diamond: 365 to 375 g, a 3K carbon face over a dual-density MultiEVA core, built for advanced players who win points with placement and finish with the volley rather than the flat smash.

It isn't just the cheaper Edge. On Padelful's side-by-side scores it's the more forgiving one, with a sweet spot rated 9.1 against 8.0 for the 2027 racket and a slightly softer feel.

Neuron 02 Edge 2026 or 2027?

Padelful lists the same shape, weight, face, core and frame for both seasons, and most of the scores barely move: power 8.6 against 8.7, control 9.6 against 9.5, rebound 7.2 for both, handling 8.6 against 8.8. The difference is the sweet spot, 9.1 on the 2026 against 8.0 on the 2027, and the feel, medium-hard against hard.

Padelful's own verdict follows from that. The 2027 Neuron 02 Edge is firmer and more direct and punishes poor contact more clearly; the 2026 is the more accessible Edge, kinder on the arm. If you're an advanced player with spotless contact, take the 27. Everyone else gets more racket from the 26. Bea González's Pearl 26 shows the same pattern against its 2027 successor.

A control-first diamond

That's Padelful's phrase for it, and it's a good one. The diamond head puts some weight up top, but the 3K face and firm core keep the ball on a string: testers praised the placement, the stability from the back and at the net, and how the bandeja and volley go where they're aimed. Its 9.6 for control is the highest of any Bullpadel racket on this site.

What it doesn't do is give you anything for free. The smash lacks a violent finish, passive defence needs an active swing, and rebound sits at 7.2. You supply the pace; the Edge decides where it goes.

Edge, standard Neuron 02 or Cloud?

The standard Neuron 02 has a teardrop-leaning head and scores almost the same for sweet spot (9.2) with a little less power (8.0). The Edge's diamond head adds bite on the volley. If your arm wants softer materials, the Neuron 02 Cloud 26 trades control for comfort and easy depth. For outright power, Paquito Navarro's Hack 04 26 is the other way to go, and the Icon 2026 sits halfway between the two, with more punch than the Edge and more control than the Hack.

Who should buy the Edge 26?

Advanced players and strong intermediates with clean technique who build points patiently and finish at the net with placement: the profile Chingotto plays. It's also the sensible Edge for anyone who wants the family's control without the 2027's harder feel. The diamond padel rackets, advanced padel rackets and padel racket sale pages show the alternatives.

Not for you if

You want the racket to supply depth on defence, you finish points with a flat smash, or you're managing elbow, wrist or shoulder pain; Padelful says neither Edge is ideal there. The Neuron 02 Cloud is the softer route into the family.

Setting up a Neuron 02 Edge

A firm racket rewards a secure hand, so keep a fresh overgrip on it: a box of 60 Bullpadel overgrips suits regular players, and our padel grips page covers thickness. The Bullpadel CustomWeight protector guards the diamond head on low volleys.

For competitive play, a Bullpadel Next Pro FIP dozen suits the pace, and our padel balls page explains why fresh pressure matters. The Neuron racket bag matches the family, and the padel shoes range covers grip on sand-dressed turf. The Bullpadel rackets page, the full padel racket range and our guide to choosing a padel racket cover the rest.

Bullpadel Neuron 02 Edge 2026 Padel Racket: questions people ask

Is the Neuron 02 Edge 2026 the same racket as the 2027?

Same shape, weight, face, core and frame, according to Padelful, but not the same feel. Padelful rates the 2026 medium-hard with a 9.1 sweet spot and the 2027 hard with an 8.0 sweet spot.

Is the Bullpadel Neuron 02 Edge 2026 suitable for intermediate players?

For strong intermediates with clean technique, yes, and more so than the 2027 thanks to its bigger sweet spot. It still gives little free power, so it suits players who build points rather than overpower them.

Neuron 02 Edge 2026 or Neuron 02: which should I buy?

The Edge has a diamond head and slightly more power (8.6 against 8.0) with almost the same control and sweet spot. Pick the Edge if you finish at the net; pick the Neuron 02 if you mostly place and defend.

How should I look after a Neuron 02 Edge 2026?

Fit a frame protector to the diamond head, keep it in a cover away from heat, and change the overgrip often; a firm 3K face transmits more through a slippery handle.

How heavy is the Bullpadel Neuron 02 Edge 2026?

365 to 375 g with a medium balance, the same weight window as the 2027 edition and the standard Neuron 02.

Does Fede Chingotto play the Neuron 02 Edge?

Yes. The Neuron is his signature line and the Neuron 02 Edge is the racket he plays.
