Bullpadel Next Pro FIP Dozen Padel Balls

£19.50

This Bullpadel Next Pro FIP dozen padel balls box holds twelve balls, four sealed tubes of three, of Bullpadel's natural-felt competition ball, the same ball sold as a single tube under either the Next Pro or FIP Next Pro name.

A dozen is an unusual way to buy this particular ball. Most UK listings we found sell it as single tubes or as a 24-tube case for clubs; a four-tube dozen sits in between, and we couldn't find another UK shop offering it at exactly this quantity.

Why a dozen is the less common pack here

Search for the Next Pro in the UK and you mostly find two sizes: a tube of three for a single match, or a case of 24 tubes aimed at clubs and coaches. A dozen, four tubes together, is the format we couldn't pin down anywhere else for this specific ball, even though it's a completely normal way to buy Bullpadel's other match ball, the Premium Pro. If you want the FIP Next Pro in smaller or larger quantities, the single tube is the one other size we stock.

Buying four tubes together means four separate sealed, pressurised units rather than one big batch, so each tube keeps its bounce on the shelf until you crack the seal. Open one a week and you've got a month of fresh balls without reordering.

Next Pro against Bullpadel's other balls

Bullpadel calls the Next Pro its fastest, most durable ball, built for competition and tournament play with a natural felt for a more honest feel off the strings. The Premium Pro dozen box sits a notch below it on paper: a synthetic felt and a high-density core, listed for humid, low-altitude courts rather than pitched as a tournament ball outright. For most UK club games on a damp evening, the Premium Pro is the steadier everyday choice; save the Next Pro for a league match or a weekend you actually want some pace.

Don't take the FIP branding as proof this is the ball you see on television. Wilson signed on to supply the Premier Padel tour ball from 2024, so Bullpadel's FIP badge here means it meets the federation's specification, not that it's the match ball of the sport's top events.

Descriptions from Bullpadel copy as listed by UK and European shops.

How long a tube stays lively

Bullpadel doesn't publish a figure, and neither does any other ball maker we've checked. The FIP sets a padel ball's internal pressure at roughly 10.1 to 11.5 psi when new, well below a fresh tennis ball's 14 psi, and that pressure leaks away from the moment you open the seal. A rough test that works: drop a ball from hip height, and once it stops bouncing back to knee height, open the next tube.

A pressuriser such as the HEAD X4 slows that leak between sessions by storing opened balls above their own pressure. It buys you a bit more life from a tube; it doesn't bring a flat ball back.

Felt, use and the honest tour-ball caveat. The Next Pro is Bullpadel's quickest ball. The Premium Pro is the steadier everyday choice on a damp UK club court. Source: Bullpadel product copy, as listed by UK and European shops.

Who it suits and what to play it with

League players, club teams who play often enough to want fresh balls every week, and anyone who prefers a livelier ball over a forgiving one. A quicker ball rewards a racket with some bite, such as the Hack 05 Hybrid, while a softer frame like the Neuron 02 Comfort makes the extra pace easier to control. The full range is on our padel racket page, every ball we stock is on the padel ball page, and the Bullpadel rackets hub covers the rest of the brand. Our guide to choosing a padel racket is a good next stop if the racket side of the kit still needs deciding.

Not for you if

You run coaching sessions or play a handful of times a year. A quick competition ball wastes itself on drills, and for occasional players the Premium Pro dozen or a single tube will go further before it goes flat on the shelf.

Bullpadel Next Pro FIP Dozen Padel Balls: questions people ask

Are Bullpadel Next Pro and FIP Next Pro balls the same?

Yes. Bullpadel calls the ball the FIP Next Pro on its own site, and many UK shops shorten it to Next Pro. Same pressurised, natural-felt competition ball at every pack size.

Why is the Next Pro dozen hard to find elsewhere in the UK?

Most UK retailers sell this ball as a single tube of three or a 24-tube case for clubs. A four-tube dozen is a less common way to buy it, even though it's a standard pack size for Bullpadel's Premium Pro.

Bullpadel Next Pro or Premium Pro dozen: which should I buy?

The Next Pro is the quicker, natural-felt competition ball, aimed at league and tournament play. The Premium Pro dozen has a synthetic felt and is listed for humid, low-altitude courts, which suits steadier everyday club games.

How long does a tube of Bullpadel Next Pro last once opened?

No brand publishes a figure. The balls play their best for the first few sessions after opening; once they stop bouncing back off the back glass, open the next tube. A pressuriser slows the drop between games.

Is the Bullpadel Next Pro the Premier Padel tour ball?

No. Wilson has supplied the Premier Padel tour ball since 2024. The FIP branding on the Next Pro means it meets the federation specification, not that it is the ball used on televised tour matches.
