Bullpadel Next Balls (FIP Next), Tube of 3

£5.49

Bullpadel Next balls are the brand's natural-felt club ball, a sensible everyday choice for weekly games and league nights on any kind of court, sold here as a sealed tube of three.

You'll also see it called the FIP Next. It's the same ball; Bullpadel puts the federation's name on it and plenty of shops drop it. One step up is the Next Pro, the quicker competition version.

  • Natural felt
  • 6.65 cm, 57 g (as listed)
  • Indoor, hard, resin or turf
  • Pressurised tube of 3
  • Also sold as FIP Next

What the Next is built to do

Tennis Nuts lists a natural felt cover that, in Bullpadel's words, keeps its bounce as the pressure inside drops. That matters more than it sounds: every pressurised ball starts losing air the moment you crack the can, and the felt and core decide how gracefully it goes flat. The listing gives each ball as 6.65cm across and 57g, and clears it for indoor, hard, resin and artificial grass courts.

What nobody publishes is the core material, the internal pressure or a speed rating. We'd rather leave those blank than borrow a figure from another ball.

Next, Next Pro or Premium Pro?

Bullpadel sells three balls most club players choose between. The Next is the all-rounder. The Next Pro keeps the natural felt and is pitched as the faster ball for competition. The Premium Pro dozen swaps to a synthetic felt and is the one Bullpadel points at humid, low-altitude courts. On a cold UK evening every ball plays slower, so if your group likes pace, the Pro is worth the small step up.

Card comparing Bullpadel Next balls as the club ball with Bullpadel Next Pro as the competition ball: felt, courts, bounce and who each suits

How long a tube lasts

Bullpadel doesn't give a figure, and neither does anyone else. In practice a tube is livelier for its first couple of sessions and then slowly goes dead; you'll notice it on lobs first, when the ball stops sitting up off the back glass. A ball pressuriser such as the HEAD X4 slows the loss between games. Unopened tubes are sealed, so a spare in the bag keeps.

Who it suits

Players who want a decent, consistent ball for a weekly game without paying for a tournament ball. Beginners don't need anything quicker; a forgiving racket from our beginner padel rackets matters far more at that stage. Every other brand's ball is on our padel balls page.

Not for you if

You play competitive matches and want the quickest Bullpadel ball, or you need published pressure and speed figures before you buy.

Bullpadel Next Balls (FIP Next), Tube of 3: questions people ask

Are Bullpadel Next and Bullpadel FIP Next balls the same?

Yes. FIP Next is the full name on the can; many UK shops shorten it to Next.

Are Bullpadel Next balls good for beginners?

Yes. They're a natural-felt club ball for any court type, and beginners don't gain anything from a faster competition ball.

Bullpadel Next or Next Pro balls: what's the difference?

Both have natural felt. The Next is the club ball; the Next Pro is sold as the quicker ball for competition.

How long does a tube of Bullpadel Next balls stay lively?

No figure is published. Expect the best bounce over the first few sessions after opening; a pressuriser slows the loss.

How heavy is a Bullpadel Next ball?

Tennis Nuts lists 57g and 6.65cm across.
