Bullpadel Next Pro Balls (Tube of 3)

£6.25

Bullpadel Next Pro balls are the brand's competition ball: a pressurised, natural-felt padel ball made for league matches, tournaments and anyone who wants a quick, lively ball for their weekly game. This is a single tube of three.

You'll also see it sold as the FIP Next Pro, which is Bullpadel's own name for it. Same ball, same tube. The FIP part is a name on the can, and it's worth knowing what it does and doesn't mean before you buy.

Next Pro or FIP Next Pro?

They're the same ball. Bullpadel's own listing calls it the BP FIP Next Pro, Padel Market sells one tube under both names, and some UK shops simply say Next Pro. We stock it under both names too, including the FIP Next Pro dozen if you want twelve at a time.

The FIP in the name refers to the International Padel Federation, and some shops go further and call it the tour ball. That needs a pinch of salt. Wilson signed a deal in 2024 to supply the Premier Padel ball, so the Next Pro is best thought of as Bullpadel's top competition ball rather than the ball you see on television every week.

How it compares with Bullpadel's other balls

Bullpadel describes the Next Pro as its fastest, most durable ball, with natural felt for a better feel off the racket. One trade catalogue calls it medium speed, so treat 'maximum speed' as the brand talking. Below it sit the Premium Pro, with a synthetic felt and a core built to hold pressure, and the FIP Next, a natural-felt ball made to keep its bounce as the pressure drops.

For UK courts, which are cool and damp for much of the year, brands steer players towards their quicker balls, and the Next Pro fits that. If you mostly play social games on outdoor courts in winter, the Premium Pro is the more forgiving everyday choice. Our padel balls page compares every brand we sell.

Tube, dozen or box, and how long they last

A single tube is right for a weekly game or for trying the ball. If you play two or three times a week, the dozen saves trips, and clubs and coaches tend to buy the box of 24 tubes. All of them are the same ball; the tube is pressurised and sealed, so unopened balls keep their bounce on the shelf.

Once a tube is open, the pressure starts to drop. No ball maker publishes a life in hours or matches, so judge by feel: when the ball stops coming off the back glass and your lobs fall short, it's time for a new tube. A HEAD X4 pressuriser slows the loss between sessions, and the pressuriser page explains how they work.

Who it suits and what to play it with

Competitive club players, league teams and anyone who likes a quicker ball. A lively ball rewards a racket with some bite: the Hack 05 27 gets the most from it, while a softer frame such as the Neuron 02 Comfort makes the speed easier to control. The full range is on our padel racket page and the Bullpadel rackets page.

Not for you if

You are buying for coaching baskets or beginners who mostly need a ball that is easy to control. A quick competition ball is wasted on drills; a cheaper everyday ball will do the job for longer at less cost.

Bullpadel Next Pro Balls (Tube of 3): questions people ask

Are Bullpadel Next Pro and FIP Next Pro balls the same?

Yes. Bullpadel calls the ball the FIP Next Pro on its own site, and many shops shorten it to Next Pro. It is the same pressurised, natural-felt competition ball.

Is the Bullpadel Next Pro the Premier Padel tour ball?

Not on the main tour. Some shops describe it that way, but Wilson signed a deal in 2024 to supply the Premier Padel ball. The Next Pro is Bullpadel's top competition ball and carries FIP branding.

Bullpadel Next Pro or Premium Pro: which should I buy?

The Next Pro is the quicker, natural-felt competition ball. The Premium Pro has a synthetic felt and is listed for humid, low-altitude courts, which makes it the steadier everyday choice for many UK club games.

How long do Bullpadel Next Pro balls last once opened?

No brand publishes a figure. The balls are at their best for the first few sessions after opening; when they stop bouncing off the back glass, replace the tube. A pressuriser slows the drop between games.

How many balls are in a Bullpadel Next Pro tube?

Three. If you play often, the dozen or the box of 24 tubes is the same ball in a larger quantity.
