Bullpadel Hack Hybrid 2027 (Hack 05 Hybrid 27) Padel Racket

£305.97

The Bullpadel Hack Hybrid is the Hack for players who counter-attack rather than smash everything: the same 18K carbon face and MultiEVA core as the diamond Hack 05, on a rounder, teardrop-style head with the balance brought down towards the hand. This is the 2027 edition, the Hack 05 Hybrid 27, at 365 to 375 g.

It is a new mould for 2027, not a recolour of last year's Hack 04 Hybrid. Tennis Warehouse Europe describes it as more forgiving and more controlled than the traditional diamond Hack, and that's the whole point of it.

  • Teardrop-style hybrid head
  • Balance lower than the diamond Hack
  • 365 to 375 g
  • Aluminised 18K carbon face
  • MultiEVA core

Hack Hybrid or the diamond Hack 05?

The diamond Hack 05 27 is Paquito Navarro's attacking racket, and Padelful scores it 10 for power and 9.0 for control with a sweet spot of only 7.0: a specialist's tool. The Hybrid takes the same face and core and moves the weight down, so the head comes through faster in defence and the sweet spot sits lower and more central.

Shops disagree on the label. Padel Nuestro's sheet says hybrid with a medium balance; Tennis Warehouse Europe calls it a teardrop with a low balance. Either way it sits clearly below the diamond Hack, and closer to a teardrop than a diamond in the hand.

How the Bullpadel Hack Hybrid plays

Think of the player who defends well, waits for the short ball and then hits it hard. That's who this racket is for. Retailers describe a raised sweet spot, good spin from the rough finish and plenty of stability when you're scrambling from the back glass, while the 18K face still gives you a firm, direct ball when you go for the finish.

Nobody has published an independent score for the 2027 Hybrid yet, so we won't pretend to know its numbers. The closest guide is last generation's Hack 04 Hybrid, which Padelful rated 8.6 for power, 8.9 for control and 8.7 for its sweet spot. Expect a similar balance of attack and forgiveness from a new mould, and judge it on court.

Which Bullpadel Hack is right for you?

The Hack range now runs from a tour-level diamond to a soft comfort racket, and the Hybrid sits in the sensible middle. If you want the power and can live with a small sweet spot, look at the diamonds. If your arm wants something softer, the Cloud and Comfort versions take that job.

What goes into the Hack 05 Hybrid

The face is an aluminised 18K carbon, firm and direct, with a rough finish that helps the ball grip on slice and the vibora. Underneath sits Bullpadel's MultiEVA core. Bullpadel adds its Vibradrive damping in the handle and Ease Vibe plugs in the face holes to take the edge off vibration, and CustomWeight plates of 3 g each let you add head weight yourself if you miss the diamond's punch.

Who should buy the Hack Hybrid?

Advanced players and strong intermediates who build points patiently and want enough power to finish when the chance comes. Tennis Warehouse Europe lists it for intermediate and advanced players. Retailers' own advice is that anyone after maximum power should choose a diamond instead, which is fair. The advanced padel rackets and teardrop padel rackets pages put it alongside rivals from other brands.

Not for you if

You want every overhead to leave the court, you're still learning to hit the middle of the face, or you want a soft feel. The 18K face is firm. Beginners should start on a round racket, and players with sore arms should look at the softer Hack versions above.

Kit for a Hack Hybrid player

Counter-attackers spend a lot of time low and scrambling, so protect the frame: Bullpadel black frame protection tape is a quick fix, and the racket protector page has more. A tacky overgrip helps on long rallies; the padel grips page compares them.

For balls, a dozen Bullpadel FIP Next Pro keeps you in fresh tubes, and the padel balls page explains why. The Hack racket bag matches the family, and proper padel shoes matter more than any racket on sand-filled turf. Every Bullpadel we sell is on the Bullpadel rackets page, the full padel racket range covers the rest, and our guide to choosing a padel racket explains shape and balance.

Bullpadel Hack Hybrid 2027 (Hack 05 Hybrid 27) Padel Racket: questions people ask

Is the Hack 05 Hybrid 27 the same as the Hack 04 Hybrid?

No. The Hack 05 Hybrid is a new mould for 2027. The Hack 04 Hybrid was the 2025 and 2026 racket, and its Cloud comfort edition is still listed separately.

Is the Bullpadel Hack Hybrid good for intermediate players?

For a strong intermediate with clean contact, yes. Tennis Warehouse Europe lists it for intermediate and advanced players. It is far more forgiving than the diamond Hack, but the 18K face is still firm.

What is the difference between the Hack Hybrid and the Hack 05?

The Hack 05 is a head-heavy diamond that Padelful scores 10 for power with a 7.0 sweet spot. The Hybrid has a rounder head and a lower balance, giving up some power for easier defence and a more central sweet spot.

How do I protect the frame of a Hack 05 Hybrid?

Fit frame protection tape before your first match and replace it when it wears through. Keep the racket in a cover and out of hot cars, and check any CustomWeight plates are seated firmly.

What does the Bullpadel Hack 05 Hybrid weigh?

Bullpadel lists 365 to 375 g with a 38 mm profile. Because the balance is lower than the diamond Hack, it feels lighter in the hand.

Has the Bullpadel Hack 05 Hybrid been reviewed?

Not by an independent tester that we could find at the time of writing. We will add scores when they are published; until then, the 2026 Hack 04 Hybrid ratings are the closest guide.
