Bullpadel Icon 2026 Padel Racket (Icon 26)

The Icon is a young line, and each season so far has moved it a little. The 2025 racket was listed by Padel Nuestro as a hybrid shape at 370 to 380 g with a glossy finish and Bullpadel's Gyroflex idea in the frame. For 2026 the listings call it a diamond, tighten the weight to 370 to 375 g, switch to a matt finish and add Torsion Concept, a frame design meant to stop the head twisting on big hits.

Then the 2027 arrived with a new Icon Core, a reworked heart in the throat. Padelful's scores for it are tougher than for this one: control drops from 8.9 to 8.0, handling from 8.1 to 7.4 and sweet spot from 8.2 to 7.2, with power level at 9. If you're choosing between the two, the Icon 27 is for the player who wants the most measured, heavy hit; the 26 is the one most of us will get more wins out of.

Padelful describes the feel as medium leaning crisp, which matches what you'd expect from a 12K carbon face over a MultiEVA core. Overheads are the headline. The head carries the swing through the smash so it lands heavy, and the bandeja and vibora stay steady when you're stretching for them. At the net, volleys go back with weight and a fairly direct line.

The demands show up in two places. Quick-fire exchanges at the net ask a lot of your wrist, because a high balance on 370 g-plus never feels light, and a lazy swing gets punished. From the back it's predictable rather than generous: blocks go where you send them, but you have to send them properly. It's a firm racket that rewards good technique and doesn't pretend otherwise.

Line up the four pro-level Bullpadels from the same season and the Icon 26 is the one without a weak spot. The Hack 04 26 hits harder but forgives no more; the XPLO 26 sits between them on power; the Neuron 02 Edge 26 gives up power for a much bigger sweet spot. The Icon's scores run from 8.2 to 9.0, the narrowest spread of the lot.

The weights quoted for this racket vary more than they should. Bullpadel's sheet and Padelful both say 370 to 375 g, Tennis Warehouse Europe gives 365 to 375 g, and a Swiss Decathlon listing says 360 to 370 g. We've gone with the brand and Padelful, and we'll weigh ours when stock arrives. Balance is about 26.3 cm on Bullpadel's scale, which reads a little lower than independent measurements, and either way means firmly head-heavy.

The rest is straightforward: a 12K carbon face with the 3D Grain rough finish, a MultiEVA core, a CarbonTube frame in 100% carbon, a 38 mm profile and a 534 cm² head. Custom Weight plates let you add mass to the frame, Vibradrive in the handle takes the edge off mishits, and the handle wears Bullpadel's Hesacore grip.

Players who already attack from the net with a diamond or a head-heavy teardrop, and who'd like something a touch more controlled than a Hack. Its being last season's racket makes it good value for an advanced player, and it's a sensible step up for a strong intermediate whose smash is ready for a head-heavy frame.
