Bullpadel XPLO 2026 Padel Racket (XPLO 26)

£162.40

The Bullpadel XPLO 2026 padel racket is Martín Di Nenno's power diamond from last season: 365 to 375 g, a 12K carbon face over a double-density MultiEVA core and a high balance, for advanced attackers who want a big smash without the smallest sweet spot in the range. It's the second and final season of the first XPLO mould.

Padelful scores its power 9.7, a whisker under the new XPLO 02 27, and found it surprisingly manageable in the hand. That combination is the reason to buy it now.

XPLO 26 or the new XPLO 02 27?

Bullpadel moved the XPLO to a new 02 mould for 2027 and pushed it further towards attack. The XPLO 02 27 gains a little power (9.9 against 9.7) and rebound (8.4 against 7.9); the 26 keeps more of everything else, with control 8.8 against 8.0, handling 8.1 against 7.6 and the sweet spot 8.3 against 7.8. The face changes too: 12K carbon on the 26, 3K on the 02.

For most attacking club players, two tenths of a point of power aren't worth a smaller sweet spot and slower hands. The 26 is the XPLO we'd choose.

How the XPLO 26 plays

Padelful's testers liked the explosive acceleration on the smash, the crisp volleys with pace and, a little to their surprise, how manageable it felt in the hand for such a powerful racket. The medium-hard feel gives you clear feedback on every strike.

It's still an attacker's tool. It demands clean, centred contact, defence takes extra work, and the testers found limited spin and bite from the face. If you rely on heavy slice and kick, look for a racket that testers rate higher for spin.

Is the XPLO 26 the same as the 2025 XPLO?

It's the same first-generation mould in its second season. Padelful scores both at 9.7 for power; the 2025 edition rated a little higher for control (9.0 against 8.8) and noticeably higher for sweet spot (8.9 against 8.3). If you loved the 2025 XPLO, the 26 is a close relative rather than a twin. The 2025 build itself is still available new in one form, the limited XPLO TF 24 made for the Barcelona Tour Finals.

Who should buy the XPLO 26?

Advanced players and strong intermediates on the left who finish with the smash and want one of Bullpadel's most powerful rackets without its least forgiving one. Alongside Paquito Navarro's Hack 04 26, it's the 2026 power frame we'd point most attackers towards. Our advanced padel rackets, diamond padel racket and padel racket sale pages show the alternatives.

Not for you if

You defend from the back glass more than you attack, you play a spin-heavy game, or a stiff head-heavy racket tires your arm. The XPLO Comfort keeps the shape with a softer face; a hybrid such as the Vertex 05 Hybrid 27 gives far more margin.

Kit for an XPLO 26

A powerful racket needs a secure hand: keep a fresh overgrip on it, and see our padel grips page for thickness. The Bullpadel CustomWeight protector guards the head on low volleys.

For balls, a Bullpadel Next Pro FIP dozen matches the pace, and our padel balls page explains why fresh pressure matters. The XPLO racket bag carries the family name. Last season's X-Plo Vibram 25V shoe is from the same line, and every shoe made for sand-dressed turf is on our padel shoes page. The Bullpadel rackets page, the full padel racket range and our guide to choosing a padel racket cover the rest.

Bullpadel XPLO 2026 Padel Racket (XPLO 26): questions people ask

Is the Bullpadel XPLO 26 the same as the XPLO 02 27?

No. The XPLO 02 27 uses a new mould and a 3K face. Padelful scores it slightly higher for power but lower for control, handling and sweet spot than the 26, which uses 12K carbon on the first XPLO mould.

Is the Bullpadel XPLO 2026 good for intermediate players?

For strong intermediates with a reliable smash, it can work: Padelful found it manageable for a power racket. Most intermediates will still get more from a hybrid or the XPLO Comfort.

XPLO 26 or Hack 04 26: which is more powerful?

The Hack 04 26 scores a perfect 10 for power on Padelful against 9.7 for the XPLO 26, with similar sweet spots (8.2 against 8.3). The XPLO feels a touch more manageable; the Hack is the more explosive.

How do I protect a Bullpadel XPLO 26?

Fit a frame protector to the head before you play, store it in a cover away from heat, and change the overgrip regularly so a heavy head never turns in your hand.

How heavy is the Bullpadel XPLO 26?

Bullpadel lists 365 to 375 g with a high balance and a 38 mm profile, the same weight window as the XPLO 02 27.

Is the XPLO 26 the same racket as the 2025 XPLO?

Same first-generation mould in its second season. Padelful scores both at 9.7 for power, with the 2025 edition rated higher for sweet spot (8.9 against 8.3).
