Bullpadel XPLO 2027 (XPLO 02 27) Padel Racket

£287.97

The Bullpadel XPLO 2027, sold as the XPLO 02 27, is Martín Di Nenno's power racket on a new 02 mould: a head-heavy carbon diamond with an X-Tend Carbon 3K face over MultiEVA, 365 to 375 g, for advanced attackers who generate their own pace and finish with the smash. Padelful scores its power 9.9.

It's also the least forgiving XPLO yet. Each generation has hit as hard as the last and given back a little less margin, and that's the trade to understand before you buy.

XPLO 02 27 or last season's XPLO 26?

The 02 is a new mould, and it moves the racket further towards attack. Padelful scores the 2027 XPLO at 9.9 for power against 9.7 for the Bullpadel XPLO 26, and its rebound rises from 7.9 to 8.4. Everything else falls: control from 8.8 to 8.0, handling from 8.1 to 7.6, and the sweet spot from 8.3 to 7.8. The face also changes, from 12K carbon on the 26 to 3K on the 02.

Padelful called the 26 surprisingly manageable in the hand. Its verdict on the 02 is a committed attacking racket that trades handling and forgiveness for power. If you want the XPLO feel with more margin, the 26 is the better buy.

How the XPLO 02 plays

Heavy. Padelful's testers found penetrating volleys at the net, aggressive output on the bandeja and víbora, and serious power on a committed smash. RacketMojo measured the balance at about 27 cm, high even for an attacking racket, and you feel every millimetre of it on an overhead.

The same head weight makes it slow in fast exchanges, the sweet spot is small enough to punish mishits, and defence asks for precise lobs and blocks. Padelful rates the feel medium-hard. It's a racket for players who arrive early and swing through the ball; it does very little for anyone who doesn't.

Three XPLOs, one direction

Di Nenno's first XPLO in 2025 scored 8.9 for its sweet spot on Padelful. The 26 dropped to 8.3 and the 02 to 7.8, while power stayed at 9.7 or above throughout. Bullpadel has kept pushing the XPLO towards pure attack. If you want the shape with a softer face, the XPLO Comfort 27 uses Fibrix instead of carbon.

Who should buy the XPLO 02?

Advanced players, usually on the left, who generate their own pace, find the middle of the face consistently and win points overhead. It's comfortable with a high-balance racket only if you are. Our advanced padel rackets and diamond padel racket pages show the alternatives.

Not for you if

You need forgiveness on mishits, quick hands at the net or help in defence, or your arm complains after a long session with a stiff, head-heavy frame. The XPLO 26 keeps most of the power with more margin, and the XPLO Comfort softens the face.

Grip, bag and balls for an XPLO

A head this heavy needs a secure hand: a box of 60 Bullpadel overgrips keeps one fresh on court every week, and our padel grips page covers thickness. Fit the Bullpadel CustomWeight protector before the first match; a high balance means the head meets the floor on low volleys.

For balls, a Bullpadel Next Pro FIP dozen suits competitive play, and our padel balls page explains why fresh pressure matters. The XPLO racket bag carries the family name. The X-Plo Vibram 26V shoe is Di Nenno's on-court partner to it, and every shoe made for sand-dressed turf is on our padel shoes page. The Bullpadel rackets page, the full padel racket range and our guide to choosing a padel racket cover the rest.

Bullpadel XPLO 2027 (XPLO 02 27) Padel Racket: questions people ask

Is the Bullpadel XPLO 2027 the same as the XPLO 02?

Yes. The 2027 XPLO is sold as the XPLO 02 27: 02 is the new mould generation and 27 the season. It replaces the XPLO 26, which used the previous mould and a 12K face.

Is the Bullpadel XPLO 02 suitable for intermediate players?

Very rarely. Padelful describes a committed attacking racket with a small sweet spot and slow hands. Intermediates will get more from the XPLO Comfort or a hybrid racket.

XPLO 02 or Hack 05: which hits harder?

Both score at the top of Padelful's power scale, 10 for the Hack 05 and 9.9 for the XPLO 02. The XPLO has a slightly bigger sweet spot (7.8 against 7.0) and a 3K face rather than 18K.

How should I care for a Bullpadel XPLO 02?

Protect the head with a frame protector, keep it in a cover away from heat, and replace the overgrip often so the heavy head never twists in your hand.

How heavy is the Bullpadel XPLO 02 27?

Bullpadel lists 365 to 375 g, and RacketMojo measured the balance at about 27 cm, which is high even for a power racket.

Who plays the Bullpadel XPLO?

It is Martín Di Nenno's racket line; the XPLO 02 is his 2027 model.
