Bullpadel Vertex 05 Geo 27 Padel Racket

Padelful's 2026 scores explain both verdicts. The Geo hits harder than the Vertex 05 27 (power 9.1 against 8.5) and controls the ball slightly better (9.0 against 8.8), with almost identical handling. What it gives up is rebound: 7.3 against 8.5, so the ball doesn't fly off the face on slower swings. You supply the pace, and the racket turns it into more.

The sweet spot scores are close (8.9 for the Geo, 9.2 for the standard racket), even though the Geo's head is bigger. A larger hitting area spread higher up the face suits players who meet the ball early on overheads; it doesn't make the racket kinder at the back of the court.

Bullpadel publishes its balance figures on its own scale, and they put the three Vertex 05 shapes in a neat line: the Vertex 05 Hybrid 27 at about 25 cm, the standard Vertex 05 at about 25.4 cm and the Geo at about 26 cm. That half centimetre more than the standard racket is a lot of extra swing weight, and it's where the Geo's extra power comes from.

Add the bigger geometric head, about 541 cm² against 530 cm² for the standard Vertex 05, and you get a racket built to punish a short ball. It's also why the Geo asks more of your shoulder over a long match. Only the Icon 27, at about 26.3 cm and up to 375 g, carries more head weight in Bullpadel's range.

The standard Vertex 05 uses 12K carbon; the Geo uses 3K, a finer weave of smaller carbon bundles. Padelful rates the Geo's feel medium-hard against the Vertex's medium, so don't expect the 3K to make it soft. What the combination gives is a crisp, direct contact that suits a player who controls the ball with technique rather than relying on the face to do it.

Advanced attackers with a fast, early swing who want the most pace the Vertex family offers, and players who like a firm, direct feel. Retailers list it as advanced; Padelful's 2026 page pitches it at intermediate-advanced and advanced players who live at the net. The diamond padel rackets and advanced padel rackets pages show the alternatives from other brands.

A big, head-heavy frame takes knocks, so protect it: the Bullpadel CustomWeight protector guards the head and the racket protector page has other options. A tacky overgrip keeps a fast swing under control; the padel grips page compares them.

For balls, a Bullpadel Next Pro FIP dozen suits competitive play, and our padel balls page explains why fresh pressure matters. The Vertex Geo racket bag matches the racket, and proper padel shoes grip sand-filled turf. The Bullpadel rackets page, the full padel racket range and our guide to choosing a padel racket cover the rest.
