Bullpadel Vertex 05 Comfort 27 Padel Racket

£215.50

The Bullpadel Vertex 05 Comfort is the Vertex 05 diamond for attacking club players who want an easier, livelier ball and less sting through the arm. Bullpadel swaps the standard racket's 12K carbon for Fibrix, its glass and carbon mix, keeps the MultiEVA core and the head-heavy balance, and trims the weight to 360 to 370 g. This is the 2027 edition, sometimes listed as the Vertex 05 CMF 27.

Padelful rated the 2026 Comfort 9.7 for rebound, the highest of any Bullpadel racket we've covered. It also scored it 7.0 for power and control, and that trade is what this page is about.

Vertex 05 Comfort or the standard Vertex 05?

Same mould, same shape, different face. The standard Vertex 05 27 uses a stiff 12K carbon; the Comfort uses Fibrix, which flexes more, holds the ball a fraction longer and sends it off with less effort. Padelful's 2026 scores show the result plainly: rebound jumps from 8.5 to 9.7, while power falls from 8.5 to 7.0 and control from 8.8 to 7.0.

Put simply, the Comfort makes depth and overheads easier when you're not swinging flat out, and gives up the precision and punch of the 12K racket. For a club attacker who plays three times a week, that's often the better deal. For a strong player who wants every volley to go exactly where it's aimed, it isn't.

Bullpadel Vertex 05 Comfort review: lively and forgiving

The ball leaves the face easily, the sweet spot is broad (8.5 on Padelful) and overheads have comfortable power without the jolt of a stiff carbon face. That's how Padelful's testers summed it up, and they pictured it in the hands of intermediate to advanced players who like a diamond.

The weak points are the flip side of all that give. It's slow in tight exchanges at the net, fine control on soft shots is limited, and there's less bite at impact than a carbon diamond. If your game is built on touch volleys and drop shots, the Comfort will frustrate you.

Vertex 05 Comfort vs Vertex 04 Comfort

The previous Vertex 04 Comfort 2025 sits on the older 04 mould with the same Fibrix idea. Padelful's scores split the two clearly: the 05 Comfort is livelier and a little quicker in the hand (rebound 9.7 against 8.5, handling 7.9 against 7.3), while the 04 Comfort hits harder and keeps more control (power 8.3 against 7.0, control 8.1 against 7.0). Choose the 05 for an easy, bouncy ball; choose the 04 if you still want some bite.

Who should buy the Vertex 05 Comfort?

Intermediate and advanced attackers who love the Vertex shape but find the 12K version harsh or hard work over a long session. PadelSpeak suggests the Comfort for players prone to arm strain, which makes sense as an equipment choice: a more flexible face passes less shock to the hand. Bullpadel's XPLO Comfort 27 uses the same Fibrix idea on a geometric head, and the Hack 05 Comfort 27 keeps more of the power. If control matters more than bounce, the Neuron 02 Comfort 27 is the steadiest of the three Fibrix rackets. The diamond padel rackets page lists other diamonds, and the women's padel rackets page covers the lighter Vertex 05 W.

Not for you if

You rely on touch at the net, you want the crisp precision of carbon, or you're a beginner. It's still a head-heavy diamond. For an even softer Bullpadel, look at the Hack 04 Hybrid Cloud 26; for a first racket, start round.

What to pair with a Vertex 05 Comfort

Comfort starts at the handle: a cushioned replacement such as the Bullpadel Hesacore Gel grip adds to the soft feel, and the padel grips page explains the options. Fit a Bullpadel CustomWeight protector to guard the head; more styles are on the racket protector page.

A lively racket wants lively balls: the Bullpadel Premium Pro dozen suits damp UK courts, and our padel balls page explains why. The Vertex racket bag matches the family, and proper padel shoes matter more than any racket on sand-filled turf. The full padel racket range, the Bullpadel rackets page and our guide to choosing a padel racket cover the rest.

Bullpadel Vertex 05 Comfort 27 Padel Racket: questions people ask

Is the Vertex 05 Comfort the same as the Vertex 05 CMF?

Yes. CMF is Bullpadel's short form of Comfort, and some shops list this racket as the Vertex 05 CMF 27.

Is the Bullpadel Vertex 05 Comfort good for intermediate players?

For an intermediate who attacks and likes a diamond, yes. Padelful pictures it with intermediate to advanced players. It is easier to play than the 12K Vertex 05 but still head-heavy, so it is not a first racket.

What is the difference between the Vertex 05 Comfort and the Vertex 05?

The Comfort uses a Fibrix glass-and-carbon face instead of 12K carbon and is listed 5 g lighter. Padelful scores it much higher for rebound (9.7 against 8.5) and lower for power and control.

How long does a Bullpadel Vertex 05 Comfort last?

It depends on how often you play. Any racket gradually loses liveliness with heavy use. Protect the frame, keep it in a cover and out of hot cars, and it will give you seasons of play.

What does the Bullpadel Vertex 05 Comfort weigh?

Bullpadel lists 360 to 370 g with a head-heavy balance, a 38 mm profile and a hitting area of about 530 cm².

Is the Vertex 05 Comfort easier on the arm?

Easier than the 12K Vertex 05, because the Fibrix face flexes more and passes less shock to the handle. It is still a head-heavy diamond, so a lighter, rounder racket will do more for a sore arm.
