Bullpadel Vertex 04 Comfort 2025 Padel Racket

£92.15

The Bullpadel Vertex 04 Comfort is the Vertex diamond for players who want its shape and head weight without the bite of an all-carbon face. Bullpadel swaps the 12K carbon for Fibrix, its mix of carbon and fibreglass, on the same 04 mould, so the ball comes off with more give and slower swings still reach the back glass. This is the 2025 edition, at 360 to 370 g.

Bullpadel sold it as Martin Di Nenno's Vertex Comfort, and the 2024 version is the same mould in different colours. Now that the 2025 season has ended, it also sits in our padel racket sale.

Think gentler, not soft. It is still a head-heavy diamond.

What makes the Vertex 04 Comfort different from the standard Vertex 04?

One layer. The standard Vertex 04 2025 uses an Xtend Carbon 12K face; the Comfort uses Fibrix, which weaves fibreglass in with the carbon. Fibreglass flexes more than carbon, so the face holds the ball a touch longer and throws it out with less effort at moderate speed. The shape, the MultiEVA core, the CarbonTube frame and the high balance all stay put, and the Comfort is listed 5 g lighter (360 to 370 g against 365 to 375 g).

The catch is the same give at the other end of the speed range. Padel.FYI's reviewers, testing the 2024 version of this mould, found the fibreglass surface added output on slow shots but took some control away when the swing got fast. That is the trade in one sentence: easier depth, less precision at full tilt.

Bullpadel Vertex 04 Comfort review: easy depth, slower hands

From the back of the court it is generous. Padelful's testers singled out easy baseline depth, a forgiving sweet spot and a stable response on fast bandejas, and scored rebound at 8.5, a shade above the standard Vertex 04. Lobs float deep without much arm.

At the net it asks more of you. Manoeuvrability scores 7.3 against 8.7 for the 12K version, and the same review flags a head that feels heavy on rushed defensive blocks and a touch that wanders on delicate volleys. The smash goes in, but it doesn't explode. Taken together, the scores say it was built for a slightly different player than the standard racket rather than being a softened copy of it.

Our view: a sensible diamond for the attacking club player who plays three times a week and wants to keep doing that. Less sensible for anyone whose game lives in fast exchanges at the net.

Bar chart of Padelful ratings for the Bullpadel Vertex 04 Comfort 2025 against the standard Vertex 04 2025

Vertex 04 Comfort or Vertex 05 Comfort?

The newer Vertex 05 Comfort 27 sits on the 05 mould, which carries its weight further up the frame than the 04 (PadelSpeak measured 12 mm more on the standard rackets). On paper the 2026 Comfort kept the Fibrix face and the 360 to 370 g band. Padelful's scores split them clearly: the 05 Comfort is the livelier and quicker of the two (rebound 9.7, handling 7.9), while the 04 Comfort hits harder (power 8.3 against 7.0) and keeps more control.

Bullpadel's other Fibrix diamond for 2027 is the XPLO Comfort 27, with a geometric head and a bigger hitting area. If you want to step down further still, the Vertex Advance 26 puts a Glaphite face on a medium-soft EVAlastic core, and the Vertex 05 Hybrid 27 moves the balance down towards the hand instead of softening the face.

Is the Vertex 04 Comfort good for intermediate players?

Yes, for an intermediate who already attacks. Padelful describes it as a diamond for intermediate and advanced players who want easier output and dependable depth, and Padel.FYI's reviewers landed on intermediate all-court players too. If you've been playing a teardrop for a couple of seasons and want more weight behind the overhead without jumping straight to a 12K diamond, this is a fair middle step. The best padel racket for intermediate players page shows the rounder alternatives, and the diamond padel rackets page lines up every diamond we stock.

Not for you if

You're a beginner, you win your points with quick hands at the net, or you expect a soft racket because the name says Comfort. The head weight is still there, and blocks on the volley are where you'll notice it. A round racket is the gentler starting point, and the cheap padel racket page has good ones.

Is the Vertex 04 Comfort easier on the arm?

Easier than the 12K Vertex, yes, because a face with fibreglass in it absorbs more of the impact before it reaches the handle. That is a statement about equipment, not medicine: a head-heavy diamond still loads the forearm more than a round racket with the weight near the hand. If your arm is already sore, a lighter head will do more for it than a softer face. Bullpadel's Cloud editions go further than the Comfort: the Hack 04 Hybrid Cloud 26 pairs an ultrasoft core with an elastic fibre face on a lower-balance teardrop.

Small changes help. A fresh Bullpadel Comfort overgrip adds a little cushioning and a little thickness, and our padel grips page explains how thickness changes the feel. A second overgrip lowers the balance slightly too.

What else you need with a Vertex 04 Comfort

Tape the frame first. A Bullpadel frame protection tape costs very little and stops the first scrape off the floor turning into a chip, and the racket protector page has thicker guards. Then balls: a dozen Bullpadel Premium Pro balls works out better than buying tube by tube, and the padel balls page explains why a tube goes flat.

Carry it in any two-racket padel bag, and give your feet the same thought you gave the racket: padel shoes with a herringbone sole stop the slide on sand-filled turf. Every Bullpadel we sell is on the Bullpadel rackets page, the full padel racket range covers every other brand, and our guide to choosing a padel racket starts from the beginning if you're still deciding.

Bullpadel Vertex 04 Comfort 2025 Padel Racket: questions people ask

Is the Bullpadel Vertex 04 Comfort 2025 the same as the 2024 version?

Same 04 mould, same Fibrix face, new colours. Bullpadel runs each mould for two seasons, so reviews of the 2024 Vertex 04 Comfort describe this racket. Some shops list it as the Di Nenno Vertex Comfort 04 Pro Line.

Who should buy the Bullpadel Vertex 04 Comfort?

Intermediate and advanced players who attack with a diamond but want easier depth and a less harsh response than the 12K version. It suits players who win points from the back half of the court as much as at the net.

Vertex 04 Comfort vs Vertex 04: which has more power?

The standard Vertex 04 scores higher for power and control on Padelful (8.7 and 8.9 against 8.3 and 8.1), while the Comfort scores higher for rebound. The Comfort gives easier depth on slower swings; the 12K version rewards a fast, clean swing.

How long does a Vertex 04 Comfort last?

It depends on how often you play. Any racket loses some liveliness with heavy use, and a duller sound off the face is the usual first sign. Protect the frame with tape, keep it in a cover, and don't leave it in a hot car, where heat works on the EVA core.

What does the Bullpadel Vertex 04 Comfort weigh?

Bullpadel lists 360 to 370 g, about 5 g lighter than the standard Vertex 04. Some UK shops print 365 to 375 g, so check the box if a few grams matter to you.

Is the Vertex 04 Comfort a good first diamond racket?

It's one of the easier ones, as long as you're already an improving player. For a first racket of any shape, start with a round model; move to a diamond like this once your overhead is reliable.

Not sure the Bullpadel Vertex 04 Comfort 2025 Padel Racket is the one? Compare it with every other padel racket we stock, sorted by level, shape and weight, and the advanced padel rackets page narrows it to your level.
