Nox AT10 Genius 18K Alum London P1 Exclusive Edition

£284.94

The Nox AT10 Genius 18K Alum London P1 is the 2026 Genius 18K, Agustin Tapia's all-court teardrop, in a black and racing-green design made for Premier Padel's first event in Britain. It's for advanced players who wanted the Genius anyway and fancy the version with a story, and for fans who'll hang it on the wall.

Tapia won that week at Olympia with Arturo Coello, which does no harm to the racket's reputation. Underneath the paint it plays exactly like the standard 2026 edition: an aluminised 18K carbon face, a firm MLD Black EVA core and Nox's Weight Balance counterweights.

What's actually different about the London P1 edition

Three things, and none of them touch the way it plays. The face is charcoal black with dark green trim, the Nox logo and the throat bridge in that green. There's a London P1 badge on the throat beside Tapia's signature. And it comes in a fold-open presentation box rather than a plain cover. Tennisnuts' description calls the colour British Racing Green while its details tab says black; on the racket, it's both.

Everything else matches the 2026 Genius 18K Alum: the same mould, face, core, weight window and Dual Spin finish. Nox's own announcement describes it as a special edition of that racket, and the spec sheets agree line for line.

The London P1 at Olympia

Premier Padel came to Britain for the first time in August 2026, with a week at Olympia from the 2nd to the 9th. Coello and Tapia beat Galán and Chingotto 6-3 5-7 7-5 in the men's final, and Calvo and Fernández took the women's title. Nox showed this edition at its stand in the fan zone that week, and UK retailers listed it soon after.

Does it matter that Tapia won? Not to the racket. It does make this the Genius with the best London memory attached, and if you were in the Grand Hall that Sunday, that's probably why you're reading this.

How the Genius 18K plays

Padelful hasn't tested the London edition separately, and there's no reason it would play differently, so these are its scores for the 2026 Genius 18K. Handling is the headline at 9.6, which is remarkable for a full-weight carbon teardrop. Control (8.7) and sweet spot (9.0) are close behind. Power is 7.9: perfectly good, but this is a racket that wins points by placing the ball rather than blasting it.

The aluminised 18K face is softer than Nox's 12K Alum Xtrem, so it gives more back on defence; the firm black core keeps it precise. If you want the punchier sibling, the 2026 Genius 12K Alum Xtrem hits harder and gives less help when you're stretched.

What's in the box

Tennisnuts lists the racket, two grips, four counterweights in 2 g and 4 g sizes and a spare wrist strap. The counterweights are the useful part: they clip into the Weight Balance system so you can move the balance towards the head for more weight on the smash, or keep it neutral.

The gallery photo also shows a small racket keyring in the box, which isn't on the retailer's list, so don't count on it. If you lose the weights, Nox also sells its own weight balancer packs.

Should you play with it or keep it boxed?

Play with it if you're an advanced player who was going to buy a Genius 18K anyway. It's a proper tour racket and the finish will scuff like any other. Keep it boxed if it's a memento of the week, or buy it as a present for someone who was there; it makes a better gift than most rackets because the box does half the work. Our padel gifts page has smaller ideas for the same person.

Not for you if

You're still improving and want a racket that does the work for you. The Genius is firm and precise, and it rewards a clean swing. Our advanced padel rackets page explains when you're ready for one, and the teardrop padel racket hub has softer options in the same shape.

Looking after a special edition

Fit a Nox protector before the first hit, because the top of a teardrop meets the glass more than you'd think and a chipped special edition stings twice. A fresh overgrip from our padel grips range keeps the handle tacky, and Nox's Grip Enhancer towel dries your hands between points. The AT10 XXL bag matches the racket and carries the box's spares.

For balls, a tube of Nox Pro Titanium keeps the bag all Nox; our padel balls guide explains how long a tube stays lively. Pair it with padel shoes built for sand-filled turf, and browse every padel racket we sell, or our guide to choosing a padel racket, before you commit.

Nox AT10 Genius 18K Alum London P1 Exclusive Edition: questions people ask

Is the Nox London P1 racket the same as the standard Genius 18K 2026?

Yes, underneath. Nox describes it as a special edition of the 2026 AT10 Luxury Genius 18K Alum, and the face, core, mould and weight are identical. Only the design and the box differ.

Is the Nox AT10 Genius 18K Alum London P1 a numbered limited edition?

Neither Nox nor UK retailers give a run size or say the rackets are numbered. It is sold as an exclusive edition in a limited-edition box.

Is the London P1 Genius good for intermediate players?

Only for strong intermediates with a tidy swing. It is a firm carbon tour racket rated for advanced players; most intermediates will enjoy a softer racket more.

London P1 edition or the 2027 Genius 18K?

The 2027 adds Nox VCS anti-vibration and sits a little nearer the handle. Padelful scores both 8.7 for control. Buy the London P1 for the design, the 2027 for the latest build.

What weight is the Nox London P1 racket?

Nox lists 360 to 375 g before an overgrip. The counterweights in the box add 2 or 4 g each where you fit them.

Will the London P1 finish scuff if I play with it?

Yes, as any racket does. A frame protector fitted before the first session saves most of the damage, and keeping it out of hot cars protects the face and core.
