Nox AT10 XXL Padel Racket Bag

£68.95

The Nox AT10 XXL is the biggest bag in Agustín Tapia's AT10 range: 90 litres, 70 x 30 x 45 cm, with a ThermoTech thermal section for three rackets and room for up to five in the main compartment. It's for players who carry two or three rackets, a change of kit and shoes to every session, and want it all in one bag.

Black with red details, a rigid base and handles you can take off. Nox's code for it, BPAT10XXL24, dates the design to 2024.

What fits inside

The listing describes five places to put things. The main compartment opens from the side and takes up to five rackets plus clothes. Inside it, the ThermoTech section holds three rackets away from the worst of the heat. A round thermal pod carries a water bottle or a tube of four balls, a ventilated side compartment comes with a bag for damp kit, and the side pockets take keys, phone and spare overgrips.

We haven't had one apart in the warehouse yet, so treat the racket counts as Nox's and the retailers' figures. We'll update this page when stock lands.

XXL, Competition XL or Team?

Tapia's line has three racket bags worth comparing. The XXL is 10 cm longer than the AT10 Competition XL Compact, which is 80 litres at 60 x 30 x 45 cm and holds four rackets. Both have a round thermal pod for balls, but only the XXL has a thermal section for rackets. The AT10 Team bag is a different animal, 42 litres and much slimmer at 27 cm deep, for a player who brings a racket, a towel and not much else.

If you'd rather wheel it than carry it, the AT10 Competition Trolley is the one with wheels, and the AT10 Team backpack suits the bus and the bike.

Why the thermal sections matter

Racket cores are EVA foam, and foam doesn't like heat. Every brand tells you to keep rackets out of hot cars and direct sun for that reason. The ThermoTech lining won't make a car boot cool, but it slows the heat down, and that's the main reason to buy a proper racket bag over a sports holdall.

Balls are the other beneficiary: a tube in the round pod isn't baking next to the car's back window. Our padel balls page goes into how fast tubes lose pressure.

Is it too big?

For a lot of players, yes. At 70 cm long it's a large bag to sling over a shoulder or squeeze into a locker, and if you only own one racket most of it will be empty air. It makes sense for club players with two or three rackets, coaches, and anyone who goes from work to the court with a full change of clothes. Everyone else will be happier with the Team bag or a backpack from our padel bags range.

Not for you if

You cycle or take the train to the club, you play once a week with one racket, or your car boot is small. The Competition XL Compact gives you nearly as much room in a shorter bag.

What to put in it

It's built for Tapia's rackets, so the obvious match is an AT10 Genius: the Genius 18K Alum 2027 or the firmer Genius 12K Alum Xtrem. A tube of Nox Pro Titanium fits the thermal pod, spare wraps from our padel grips range go in a side pocket, and a pair of padel shoes goes in the ventilated compartment. Nox AT10 XXL Padel Racket Bag: questions people ask

Is the Nox AT10 XXL the same bag as the AT10 Competition XL Compact?

No. The XXL is 90 litres and 70 cm long; the Competition XL Compact is 80 litres and 60 cm long. Both have a round thermal pod for balls, but only the XXL has a thermal section for rackets.

How many rackets does the Nox AT10 XXL hold?

Retailers list up to five in the main compartment, with a ThermoTech section that takes three of them. Most owners will carry two or three plus a full change of kit.

Nox AT10 XXL or AT10 Team bag: which should I get?

The XXL if you carry several rackets, shoes and clothes every time. The Team bag is 42 litres and slimmer, and suits a player with one or two rackets who travels light.

How do I keep the Nox AT10 XXL clean?

Empty the ventilated compartment and laundry bag after every session, wipe the inside with a damp cloth, and let it air dry open. Do not machine-wash a bag with a rigid base.

What are the Nox AT10 XXL dimensions?

70 x 30 x 45 cm, for a listed capacity of 90 litres.
