Nox AT10 Competition XL Compact Padel Bag

£64.75

The Nox AT10 Competition XL Compact padel bag packs 80 litres into a bag only 60 cm long: 60 x 30 x 45 cm, room for up to four rackets, a ventilated shoe pocket, a round ThermoTech pod for balls or a bottle, and a laundry bag. It's for players who carry a full change of kit and want something deep rather than long.

The design dates from 2024 and is from Agustín Tapia's AT10 range. It's the roomiest bag in that range that still fits a small car boot.

Where everything goes

Padel Nuestro's UK listing describes a side-opening main compartment for up to four rackets and your clothes, a round ThermoTech pod for a tube of balls or a bottle, a ventilated shoe compartment, a side compartment for your phone and bits, and a laundry bag. The base is rigid, and the handles detach so it can go on your back.

The same listing's intro claims room for seven rackets, which its own description doesn't support. We go with four. Seven rackets and a pair of shoes in 80 litres would be a very tight squeeze.

The thermal question

Here's the thing to know before you buy. The AT10 version's thermal lining is in the round pod, for balls or a bottle, not around the rackets. Lamperti's ML10 Competition XL Compact is the same size and adds a thermal section for three rackets. If you leave your bag in a hot car, that's a real difference.

Racket cores are EVA foam, which every brand tells you to keep out of the heat. If you can't avoid the car boot in summer, buy the ML10 version or Tapia's bigger AT10 XXL, which has a thermal racket section.

Against the other AT10 bags

Tapia's range runs from the slim 42-litre AT10 Team bag to the 90-litre XXL. The XL Compact sits just below the XXL on capacity but is 10 cm shorter. The AT10 Competition Trolley is the same length with 20 fewer litres, in exchange for wheels.

Who it suits

Players who bring two or three rackets, shoes and a full change to every session, and who drive to the club. Our padel bags page covers the other types if you're not sure how big to go.

Not for you if

You leave your bag in a car in summer, because the rackets sit outside the thermal pod. You'd also be better off with something smaller if you cycle or take the bus with one racket.

What to pack

Tapia's own racket, the Genius 18K Alum 2027, is the obvious match. Put a tube of Nox Pro Titanium in the thermal pod, spare wraps from our padel grips range in the side compartment and a pair of padel shoes in the shoe pocket. If you're still choosing the racket, see every padel racket we list or read how to choose a padel racket.

Nox AT10 Competition XL Compact Padel Bag: questions people ask

Is the Nox AT10 Competition XL Compact the same as the ML10 version?

Same size, same 80 litres, but the ML10 Competition XL Compact adds a thermal section for three rackets. The AT10 version's thermal lining is only in the round pod for balls or a bottle.

How many rackets does the Nox AT10 Competition XL Compact hold?

Up to four, according to the listing's description. Its intro mentions seven, which the description does not support.

Nox AT10 Competition XL Compact or AT10 Competition Trolley?

Both are 60 cm long. The XL Compact gives you 80 litres; the Trolley gives you 60 litres plus wheels and a thermal racket section.

How do I look after the Nox AT10 Competition XL Compact?

Empty the shoe pocket and laundry bag after each session, wipe the inside and leave it open to dry. Do not machine-wash a bag with a rigid base.

What are the Nox AT10 Competition XL Compact dimensions?

60 x 30 x 45 cm, for 80 litres.
