Nox AT10 Genius 18K Alum 2026 Padel Racket

£247.47

The Nox AT10 Genius 18K Alum 2026 is the 2026 edition of Agustin Tapia's all-court teardrop, for advanced players who want precision and quick hands: an aluminised 18K carbon face over a firm MLD Black EVA core, 360 to 375 g, on the new Genius mould with Nox's Weight Balance counterweights.

Padelful gives the 2026 and the 2027 identical scores, 8.7 overall with 9.6 for handling. Now that the 2027 is out, this is the edition to look at if you want the modern Genius without paying for this season's name.

What Nox changed for the 2026 Genius 18K

More than in most years. Tennis Warehouse Europe describes a completely new mould for 2026, and Nox added the Weight Balance system: 2 g and 4 g counterweights you fit where you want the mass, compatible with frame protectors. The face texture moved to Dual Spin, a 3D pattern with a sand finish, and the paint changed too.

What stayed is what you feel most: the 18K Alum face, the MLD Black EVA core, the Pulse System inserts along the frame and the 360 to 375 g window. If you liked the 2025 Genius 18K, this plays like it, with the option to tune it.

What the Nox AT10 Genius 18K Alum 2026 kept from 2025 and what it added: new mould, Weight Balance counterweights, Dual Spin face and chromic paint

2026 or the 2027 Genius 18K?

On Padelful's numbers there's nothing between them: 7.9 for power, 8.7 for control, 8.5 for rebound, 9.6 for handling and 9.0 for the sweet spot, for both. The differences are in the details. PadelShop measured the 2027 Genius 18K with its balance a little nearer the handle and a touch softer, and Nox added its VCS anti-vibration system for 2027. The 2026 keeps a slightly head-heavier feel, and PadelShop points players who like that towards it.

Decision chart for choosing between the Nox AT10 Genius 18K Alum 2025, 2026, 2027 and the London P1 or Buenos Aires special editions

Who should buy the 2026 edition

Advanced players with a clean, fast swing who win points by placement, and strong intermediates moving up from a fibreglass racket who want carbon without a diamond's weight in the head. If you want more punch from the same family, the 2026 Genius 12K Alum Xtrem scores 9.0 for power against this racket's 7.9, and the diamond Genius Attack 18K 2026 reaches 9.6 on the same face. Our advanced padel rackets and teardrop padel racket pages compare it with other brands.

Not for you if

You need the racket to supply easy power, or you're still finding the middle of the face. The firm core and stiff carbon reward a tidy swing. The softer AT10 Pro Cup Soft is the better step up.

Setting up the Genius 18K 2026

Start with no counterweights for a few sessions, then add a 2 g piece at a time if you want more weight behind the smash. Fresh overgrips from our padel grips range add a few grams at the handle too, which nudges the balance back. Fit a racket protector to the top of the frame.

Pair it with a tube from our padel balls range, padel shoes for sand-filled turf and a padel bag with a thermal pocket; Tapia's own 90-litre AT10 XXL keeps three rackets in a ThermoTech section. If the 2026 is on our padel racket sale page, that's usually the moment to buy. Every model sits in our padel racket range, and our guide to choosing a padel racket covers the basics.

Nox AT10 Genius 18K Alum 2026 Padel Racket: questions people ask

Is the Nox AT10 Luxury Genius 18K Alum 2026 the same racket as the 2027?

Very close. Both use the same face, core and weight window, and Padelful scores them identically. The 2027 adds VCS anti-vibration and sits slightly nearer the handle.

Does the 2026 Genius 18K have counterweights?

Yes. The 2026 edition introduced the Weight Balance system, with interchangeable 2 g and 4 g pieces that work alongside frame protectors.

Is the Nox Genius 18K 2026 good for intermediate players?

For strong intermediates with a clean swing, yes. It is forgiving for a carbon racket, but the firm core means you supply most of the pace.

How heavy is the Nox AT10 Genius 18K Alum 2026?

Nox lists 360 to 375 g before an overgrip or any counterweights.

How do I look after the Dual Spin face on the 2026 Genius?

Wipe it after play, keep the racket in a cover and away from heat, and expect the sand texture to soften slowly over many sessions.
