Babolat Viper Juan Lebron 3.0 Padel Racket

£184.50

The Babolat Viper Juan Lebron 3.0 padel racket is Juan Lebron's 2026 signature racket: a head-heavy diamond with a 3K carbon face, a hard-feeling Black EVA core and a weight listed at about 370 g. It suits advanced players who attack the net and have the technique to handle a firm, demanding frame.

Padelful scores it 8.7 overall, with power 9.8, control 9.4, sweet spot 8.6, rebound 8.2 and manoeuvrability 7.6, and calls the feel hard.

We could not find a Babolat page for this exact listing, so this page uses Padelful and retailer figures. It also looks very like the Technical Viper 3.0, and we explain what we can and cannot say about that.

What the Viper Juan Lebron 3.0 is

Padelful lists a diamond with a carbon frame, a 3K carbon face, a Black EVA core, a head-heavy balance and a hard feel, at a weight of 370 with no unit given. A Padel Market listing gives about 370 g, a balance of around 270 mm and a 38 mm profile, with the Dynamic Stability System, a 3D Spin surface and a Syntec Pro grip. Retailers file it as a Juan Lebron signature racket, and Babolat's naming by version means 3.0 is the 2026 edition, ahead of the 3.1.

The caution is that we found no Babolat spec sheet for a racket called Viper Juan Lebron 3.0. Some retailers list the same racket as the Technical Viper Juan Lebron 3.0, so the name varies between shops.

How the Viper Juan Lebron 3.0 plays

Direct and heavy. Padelful's reviewer found strong ball exit on volleys, clean bandejas and viboras and a stable, direct response at the net. The scores show it: power 9.8 and control 9.4 are both near the top of the scale.

The costs are the diamond's usual ones. Defence needs active footwork, the racket is hard to use when stretched or late on the baseline, and the smash is strong but not the most brutal on the market. Padelful says it is for players who attack the net and can manage a head-heavy frame, and is a poor fit for beginners or passive defenders.

Viper Juan Lebron 3.0 or Technical Viper 3.0?

Padelful lists them as separate rackets and scores them almost identically: power 9.8 on both, control 9.4 against 9.5, sweet spot 8.6 against 8.5, with a bigger gap on rebound (8.2 against 7.4). Both are 3K carbon diamonds with a hard feel and a head-heavy balance, and the Veron has its own Lebron-listed version in the Veron Juan Lebron 3.0. The Technical Viper 3.0 is the one with a Babolat sheet behind it.

We cannot say whether Babolat sells one racket in two finishes or two slightly different builds. If you want the signature look, the Lebron listing is the one to take; if you want a documented specification, the Technical Viper is. The newer Viper Juan Lebron 3.1 replaces this racket for the next season, and the Viper Soft Juan Lebron 3.1 is the softer version. A third listing, the Viper Juan Lebron 3.0 FW, carries its own style number, and we cannot confirm how it differs.

Who should skip the Viper Juan Lebron 3.0

Defenders, anyone with arm trouble and anyone still developing. A hard head-heavy diamond is unforgiving, and the best padel racket for intermediate players page lists gentler frames. If you want a round, precise racket, the control padel rackets page covers them.

Not for you if

You have a sore elbow or play from the back. Padelful describes a hard feel, and the racket is hard to use when stretched or late. The diamond padel racket page lists other firm options, so compare before you commit.

Setting up a Viper Juan Lebron 3.0

A hard racket needs a cushioned grip. Babolat recommends Syntec Pro, and an overgrip such as the Babolat VS overgrip takes the edge off, with our padel grips page explaining the choice. Fit frame tape from the racket protector range before the first match.

Fresh balls soften a firm racket, so a box of Babolat Ace balls is a natural partner, and the padel balls page explains how fast pressure fades. The padel bags and padel shoes pages complete the kit, and the full padel racket range, the advanced padel rackets list and our guide to choosing a padel racket put it in context.
