Babolat Viper Juan Lebron 3.0 FW Padel Racket

£179.94

The Babolat Viper Juan Lebron 3.0 FW padel racket is a Lebron-signature attacking racket for advanced players, listed by retailers at 370 g with a 3K carbon face, a textured surface and Babolat's Dynamic Stability System. It carries its own style number, 150187, which separates it from the plain Viper Juan Lebron 3.0, 150174.

Nobody says what FW stands for, and we could not find a Babolat UK page for this version. Our research found no independent test either, so this page is mainly a guide to what the listings agree on and what they leave out.

What does FW mean on a Babolat Viper?

We do not know, and the sources do not say. Viladomat lists the racket as Viper JL 3.0 FW without explaining the suffix, padelkiwi calls it the 3.0 FW 2026 and says it has been in its catalogue since April 2026, and Tennis Warehouse's 3.0 page has no FW at all. Fall and winter is the obvious guess, and it is only a guess.

What the listings do show is a different style number. Viladomat gives 150187 with a blue colour, and the plain Lebron 3.0 listings give 150174. That points to a separate product code, most likely a different colourway, but nobody confirms it.

What the listings agree on

Viladomat gives 370 g, a 3K carbon build, a textured surface to bite the ball for spin, and the Dynamic Stability System, which Babolat describes as a stiffening structure in the frame. It calls the racket perfect for high-competition players with an offensive style, and says it was designed with Juan Lebron. It does not give the shape, the balance or the core.

For those we can lean on the plain 3.0, which Tennis Warehouse lists as a diamond with a high balance of 270 mm and a black EVA core. We do not claim the FW matches it line for line, though a racket sold under the same name with the same weight is likely to be close.

FW, plain 3.0 or Technical Viper 3.0?

Three Viper 3.0 rackets sit on near-identical paper specifications. The Viper Juan Lebron 3.0 is the one Padelful has tested, scoring it 9.8 for power and 9.4 for control, and the Technical Viper 3.0 has Babolat's own sheet behind it. The FW has neither, which is the practical difference.

If you want a tested racket, take one of those two. If the FW is the one on offer at a good price and you can live with the gap, it is almost certainly a very similar racket. The newer Viper Juan Lebron 3.1 is the next version.

Who should skip the Viper 3.0 FW

Anyone short of the strength and timing a head-heavy 370 g diamond demands, which is most club players, and anyone who wants evidence behind the purchase. Our best padel racket for intermediate players page covers racket choices that are easier on the arm, and the advanced padel rackets page is the shortlist for the rest.

Not for you if

You want a tested racket or you are still developing. The FW has no independent scores and no Babolat page we could find, and a head-heavy diamond is hard on the elbow. The diamond padel rackets page lists the others.

Setting up a Viper 3.0 FW

A racket this heavy in the head benefits from a fresh overgrip from the padel grips page, and a roll of frame tape from the racket protector range before the first match. Balls come from the padel balls page.

The matching shoe is Lebron's Premura 3, with more on the padel shoes page, and a Babolat RH Pro bag carries four rackets. The padel racket range has more to compare, and our guide to choosing a padel racket explains shape and balance.

Babolat Viper Juan Lebron 3.0 FW Padel Racket: questions people ask

What does FW stand for on the Babolat Viper Juan Lebron 3.0 FW?

No source we found explains it. Fall and winter is a guess, so we do not state it as fact.

Is the Babolat Viper Juan Lebron 3.0 FW the same as the Viper Juan Lebron 3.0?

The FW has its own style number, 150187 against 150174, and the weights and technologies listed match. We cannot confirm whether anything else differs, so treat it as a very similar racket and not a confirmed twin.

How heavy is the Viper Juan Lebron 3.0 FW?

Viladomat lists 370 g. Babolat states 370 g with a 10 g tolerance for its 3.0 Viper rackets.

Is the Viper 3.0 FW a good racket for intermediate players?

Retailers pitch it at high-competition attacking players. A head-heavy diamond with a carbon face is demanding, and intermediates will find a softer racket easier.

Has the Babolat Viper 3.0 FW been reviewed?

We found no independent test of the FW. Padelful has scored the plain Viper Juan Lebron 3.0, and those scores may be a guide, though not a guarantee.

Is the Viper Juan Lebron 3.0 FW the 2026 model?

Retailers label it 2026, and padelkiwi says it has been listed since April 2026. Babolat names rackets by version, and the 3.1 follows the 3.0.
