Bullpadel Discover Power Padel Racket (Discover PWR)

£46.06

The Bullpadel Discover Power padel racket, sold as the Discover PWR, is an entry-level diamond from Bullpadel's 2025 collection: 360 to 370 g, a high balance, PolyGlass fibreglass faces with a smooth finish, a SoftEva core and a CarbonTube carbon frame. It's for newer players who already want a bit more pace on the overhead.

Bullpadel makes several entry diamonds that look almost identical on paper. This page sorts them by the two things that actually differ, and is honest that no independent tester has scored the Discover.

  • Diamond, high balance
  • 360 to 370 g
  • PolyGlass (fibreglass) face, smooth
  • SoftEva core
  • CarbonTube carbon frame
  • Beginner to intermediate

What the Discover Power is

Zona de Padel's copy of Bullpadel's sheet lists a diamond head, 360 to 370 g, a SoftEva core for comfort, PolyGlass fibreglass faces for easy ball exit and a CarbonTube frame made entirely of carbon for stability. The surface is smooth rather than textured, and the level runs from beginner to intermediate.

One Decathlon listing calls it round with a fibreglass build; every other source, including Decathlon's own marketing copy, describes a diamond with a high balance. We're going with the diamond.

Discover, Open, Apex or Indiga: Bullpadel's entry diamonds

Four Bullpadel diamonds share the same recipe of a fibreglass face over a soft core at 360 to 370 g. The Open PWR is the closest twin, with the same smooth face. The Indiga PWR 26 and Apex Power 26 add a rough finish for spin, and the Apex is listed with a carbon frame like the Discover.

So the choice comes down to two questions. Do you want a smooth or a rough face? And do you want the stiffer, more stable feel a carbon frame should give? The Discover is the smooth-faced, carbon-framed option. The Indiga PWR is the only one with published scores: Padelful gives it 7.0 for power and 6.4 for sweet spot.

Smooth face or rough?

A rough, textured face grips the ball a little more on sliced and topspin shots, which is why Bullpadel puts a textured finish on most of its pro rackets. A smooth face gives a cleaner, flatter contact and nothing to wear off. For a newer player still grooving a swing, the difference is small; once you start using the víbora and slice on purpose, a rough face such as the Indiga PWR's starts to earn its keep.

Who should buy the Discover Power?

Newer players, especially those coming from tennis or squash with a natural overhead, who want an attacking shape from the start, and occasional players who want a durable, inexpensive diamond. Our cheap padel racket and best padel racket for beginners pages list the alternatives, and the diamond padel racket page explains the shape.

Not for you if

You've never played a racket sport and want the easiest possible start, you defend more than you attack, or you want a racket with published test scores. Round rackets such as the Indiga CTR 26 are far easier to learn on, and the Indiga PWR has the scores.

Starter kit for a Discover Power

Fit Bullpadel frame protection tape before the first game; new players catch the frame on the floor and glass more than they expect. A fresh overgrip makes any racket easier to hold, and our padel grips page explains how to fit one.

A tube of Bullpadel Next suits social and club play, and our padel balls page explains when a tube has gone flat. Proper padel shoes grip sand-dressed turf far better than running trainers. The Bullpadel rackets page, the full padel racket range and our guide to choosing a padel racket cover the next step.

Bullpadel Discover Power Padel Racket (Discover PWR): questions people ask

Is the Bullpadel Discover PWR the same as the Discover Power?

Yes. PWR is Bullpadel's short form of Power, and shops use both names for the same 2025 diamond in the Discover line.

Is the Bullpadel Discover Power good for beginners?

Bullpadel's sheet lists it from beginner to intermediate. It suits beginners who already time the ball well and want an attacking shape; complete novices learn faster on a round racket.

Discover Power or Indiga PWR: what is the difference?

Both are 360 to 370 g fibreglass diamonds with soft cores. The Discover has a smooth face and a carbon frame; the Indiga PWR has a rough 3D face and a fibreglass frame, and it is the one with published Padelful scores.

How long will a Bullpadel Discover Power last?

Fibreglass faces, a soft core and a carbon frame make for a durable racket, and a smooth face has no texture to wear off. Protect the edges with tape and keep it out of hot cars.

How heavy is the Bullpadel Discover Power?

Zona de Padel lists 360 to 370 g with a high balance and a 38 mm profile; one Decathlon listing gives 360 to 375 g.

Is the Discover Power round or diamond?

Diamond, according to Zona de Padel, Padelmarket and Decathlon's own product copy. One Decathlon spec table says round, which looks like a listing error.
