Bullpadel Vertex 05 W Cloud Padel Racket (2026)

£217.44

The Bullpadel Vertex 05 W Cloud is the comfort edition of the women's Vertex 05: the same attacking diamond, rebuilt with an ultrasoft CloudEVA core and a flexible Elastic Fiber face. It's for intermediate and advanced players who like to attack at the net but want a racket that's kind to the arm and sends the ball deep without a big swing.

Tennis Warehouse Europe sells it simply as the Vertex 05 Cloud; there's no men's version. Padelful scores its rebound at 9.6, among the highest of any Bullpadel diamond, and its power at 7.0. That trade is the whole point of the racket.

  • CarbonTube frame
  • Padelful rebound 9.6
  • Medium-soft feel

What the Cloud changes inside the Vertex 05 W

Start from the standard Vertex 05 W 26: a diamond head, a high balance, a Fibrix Hybrid face and a MultiEVA core. The Cloud keeps the shape, the CarbonTube frame and the Custom Weight channel, and replaces the two layers the ball actually touches. The core becomes CloudEVA, a low-density foam Bullpadel calls ultrasoft. The face becomes Elastic Fiber, which flexes on impact.

Put those together and the ball sinks into the face a fraction longer and leaves with more spring than you put in. Less of the shock reaches your hand. You give up some crispness and some of the finish on a flat smash, which is a fair price if your elbow has been grumbling.

On court: easy depth, softer finish

Padelful's testers found the net to be its best place. Volleys carry with little effort, quick speed-ups are easy to manage and the ball stays lively without overhitting. The bandeja works well too, helped by a sweet spot of 8.1 that's generous for a diamond. From the back, lobs and blocks find depth easily, though it isn't a specialist defensive racket.

Where it gives ground is the finish. A power score of 7.0 is a long way below the punchier Vertex models, and the vibora feels cushioned rather than biting. If you've always liked a dry, sharp strike, this will feel soft. If you've been waiting for a diamond that doesn't hurt after two hours, it's one of the better ones we sell.

Against Bullpadel's other Cloud rackets

Bullpadel uses the Cloud recipe across several families. The Neuron 02 Cloud 26 is the control version, with a touch more control and slightly less rebound. The Hack 04 Hybrid Cloud 26 is a teardrop and the quickest in the hand. The Pearl Cloud 25 is the other women's diamond with these materials, a season older and not yet scored. Among the three with Padelful numbers, the Vertex W Cloud has the most rebound.

Specifications, and a weight nobody agrees on

Tennis Warehouse Europe lists a diamond, a 38 mm profile, a CloudEVA core, an Elastic Fiber face and a CarbonTube frame, with Bullpadel's balance figure of 25.4 cm, the same as the standard Vertex 05 W. Bullpadel's own page confirms the core and face and says the racket is based on the Vertex 05 Woman.

The weight is another matter. Several shops say 350 to 360 g, Padelshop 355 to 370 g, Tennis Warehouse Europe 360 to 370 g and Padelful 365 to 375 g. We couldn't read Bullpadel's own figure from the UK, so we've given the full spread rather than pick one, and we'll weigh our stock when it arrives.

Who the Vertex 05 W Cloud is for

Women who attack from the net and play often enough for arm comfort to matter, players coming back from tennis elbow who don't want to give up a diamond, and stronger intermediates moving up from a round racket who want help with depth. It suits men too; W marks the build, not the player. Our womens padel racket and diamond padel racket pages have the alternatives, and the intermediate padel racket guide explains the step up.

Not for you if

You want to end points with a flat, hard smash, or you like precise, low touch shots from the back. A soft face with this much rebound makes both harder. The standard Vertex 05 W gives you more bite, and a round control padel racket suits patient, placement-led players better.

Grip, protection, balls, shoes and a bag

Keep the comfort going down the handle with a Bullpadel Comfort overgrip, and use the padel grip page to check sizing. The Cloud has a Custom Weight channel, so a Bullpadel Custom Weight protector protects the frame and adds a little head weight if you want more punch.

A lively racket and a flat ball don't mix, so keep a fresh tube of Bullpadel Next Pro in the bag; the padel balls page explains when to replace them. The Ionic 26V women's shoe is a sensible match, and our padel shoes page covers soles. The Vertex backpack carries two rackets and kit, or see the padel bag range. The Bullpadel rackets page explains the families, our guide to choosing a padel racket covers shapes, and everything else is on the padel racket page.

Bullpadel Vertex 05 W Cloud Padel Racket (2026): questions people ask

Is the Bullpadel Vertex 05 Cloud the same as the Vertex 05 W Cloud?

Yes. Bullpadel names it the Vertex 05 W Cloud and Tennis Warehouse Europe sells it as the Vertex 05 Cloud. There is no men's Vertex 05 Cloud; it is the comfort version of the women's Vertex 05.

Is the Vertex 05 W Cloud a good racket for an intermediate player?

Yes, for an intermediate who wants a diamond. Padelful scores its sweet spot 8.1 and rebound 9.6, which makes it forgiving and easy to get depth with. It suits players stepping up from a round racket better than most diamonds do.

Vertex 05 W Cloud or the standard Vertex 05 W: which should I choose?

The standard W has a firmer MultiEVA core and Fibrix face, so it finishes points harder. The Cloud has a softer core and face, more rebound and less shock on the arm. Choose the Cloud for comfort, the standard W for punch.

How heavy is the Bullpadel Vertex 05 W Cloud 26?

Published figures range from 350 to 360 g at several shops to 365 to 375 g on Padelful, with Tennis Warehouse Europe at 360 to 370 g. We will weigh ours on arrival and update the page.

Does the Vertex 05 W Cloud help with tennis elbow?

It is one of the softer diamonds Bullpadel makes, with an ultrasoft core and a flexible face that pass less shock to the arm. No racket treats an injury, but a softer build is the usual advice for players with arm trouble.

Will the soft CloudEVA core wear out quickly?

Soft foam does lose some liveliness with heavy use, as every core does. Regular players usually notice it after a season or so. Storing the racket out of heat and using frame protection help it last.
