Dunlop Tristorm Lite Padel Racket (2025)

£54.97

The Dunlop Tristorm Lite padel racket is a light diamond for improving players: about 350 g, a soft EVA core, a graphite and fibreglass build and a rough Extra Grip finish, sold by Dunlop as the lighter sibling of the Tristorm Pro. It is a padel racket, despite the tennis-sounding name, and the model year is 2025.

Sellers agree on the diamond shape, the soft core and the rough finish. They split on the balance, which Padelgids calls medium, Fitshop calls high and a distributor page puts at 260 mm, and on the weight, where one listing gives 340 to 355 g. We found no independent test, so there are no ratings.

What the Tristorm Lite is

Dunlop's Tristorm is an entry-to-mid padel line, and the Lite is the light one. Padelgids lists a 350 g racket with a diamond head, a fibreglass face with a rough finish, a graphite and fibreglass frame and a soft EVA core that absorbs shock and eases the arm. Dunlop's named features are a Power Frame for stability, a V-Hole Pattern for control and the Extra Grip finish for spin.

Do not read the name as a tennis product. Autocomplete throws up searches that mix the two, and this is a padel racket with a padel-sized head and a 2025 colourway. Its heavier sibling is the Tristorm Pro.

Spec card for the Dunlop Tristorm Lite 2025 padel racket: diamond shape, about 350 g, medium to high balance, graphite and fibreglass frame, soft EVA core, Power Frame and V-Hole, rough Extra Grip surface, improver level

How it should play

No independent test turned up, so this is what the specification implies rather than a verdict. A diamond head puts the sweet spot higher on the face, which suits players who attack from the net, and a light, soft frame keeps volleys quick and the arm happy. Fitshop says the racket gives your shots more punch when you step in to attack.

Light diamonds trade stability for speed. Expect easy handling and some power on a committed swing, but a smaller margin for off-centre hits than a round racket, and less raw mass than a 370 g attacker. It is an improver's racket, not a weapon.

Medium balance, high balance or 260 mm?

Padelgids says 350 g, medium balance, a fibreglass face and intermediate players. Fitshop UK gives no weight, calls the balance high and head-heavy, lists a graphite frame and aims it at game improvers. A distributor page quoted in search results gives 260 mm, and another listing gives 340 to 355 g and a teardrop head. Diamond is the majority view.

Our reading is a light diamond with a balance somewhere between the middle and a little above it, comfortable for an improver and not a heavy attacker. If balance matters to your swing or your elbow, try one before buying.

Tristorm Lite or another light Dunlop

Dunlop makes several rackets near 350 g. The 2025 Galactica Lite is a carbon hybrid, the Nanomax Lite is a beginner hybrid and the 2026 FX Lite is a 2026 soft diamond in the same weight class. For a firmer attacker, the Tristorm Pro is the heavier version.

Who should skip the Tristorm Lite

Complete beginners, who will find a diamond head unforgiving and are better served by our beginner padel rackets page. Heavy hitters, who want more mass, and anyone who needs a confirmed balance figure before buying.

Not for you if

You are new to padel, you want a heavy attacker or you need a verified balance. Sellers give medium, high and 260 mm, and we found no independent test.

Setting it up

Fit a racket protector and keep a fresh overgrip from our padel grips range ready, because a rough finish scuffs. Play with good padel balls, wear proper padel shoes and carry it in a padel bag.

Dunlop Tristorm Lite Padel Racket (2025): questions people ask

Is the Dunlop Tristorm Lite a padel racket or a tennis racket?

It is a padel racket. The name sometimes pulls up tennis searches, but this is a 350 g padel racket with a diamond head and a 2025 finish.

Is the Dunlop Tristorm Lite the same as the Tristorm Pro?

No. The Lite is the lighter version, and a distributor page describes it as having a lower balance than the Pro. The Pro is the heavier, firmer racket.

Is the Dunlop Tristorm Lite good for intermediate players?

It is aimed at intermediates and game improvers. A light diamond helps quick hands at the net, though it is less forgiving than a round racket.

How heavy is the Dunlop Tristorm Lite?

Most listings say about 350 g. One Padelshop listing gives 340 to 355 g, and Fitshop lists it as lightweight with no figure.

What balance does the Dunlop Tristorm Lite have?

Padelgids says medium, Fitshop says high and head-heavy, and a distributor page gives 260 mm. Try one if balance matters to you.

Is the Dunlop Tristorm Lite a diamond or a teardrop?

Most sellers say diamond. One Padelshop listing says teardrop, so the shape label is not fully settled.
