Dunlop Galactica Pro Padel Racket (2025)

The Dunlop Galactica Pro padel racket is the top Galactica of the 2025 range: a 16K carbon face over an EVA Pro core, built for players who want precision and handling more than raw power. Sellers list it around 360 to 370 g.

Padelful scores it 8.1 overall, with control at 8.2, manoeuvrability 8.9 and sweet spot 8.7, and power as its weakest number at 7. Retailers disagree on the shape, the balance and the level, which we lay out below.

How the Galactica Pro plays

Padelful's review is about control and handling: a generous sweet spot, a lively response and agile movement at the baseline, at the net and on overheads. The medium feel means it asks for clean technique, and the review notes it gets the most from a skilled player.

Power is the lowest rating at 7. If you want a racket to hit through the ball, the heavier head-balanced options will do that better. If you want to place the ball and get to it quickly, this is more your racket.

Hybrid or teardrop, even or head heavy?

Tennisnuts and RacquetPoint list the Galactica Pro as a hybrid, while Padelful and Padelspeed call it a tear or teardrop. Weight is 370 g (plus or minus 10 g) on most sheets and 360 g on Padelful. Balance is called even on Tennisnuts, high on RacquetPoint and head heavy by Padelspeed, and the level runs from intermediate to advanced to advanced only.

Our catalogue tags it hybrid with a high balance, in line with the majority. Check the listing you buy from, and note that the Galactica Pro Nisse 2026 is a different listing with its own page in our catalogue.

Galactica Pro, Pro LS or Team

The round Galactica OS is the control-first alternative, the Galactica Pro LS is the lighter, easier-handling sibling, and the Galactica Team is the step down, with a mid-range carbon build. For a lighter entry see the Galactica Lite. For more power, the older Inferno Carbon Extreme scores higher on Padelful. If you want something hard-hitting, Dunlop's 2026 FX Pro is the head-heavy attacker.

Who should skip the Galactica Pro

Beginners, because the medium feel and a smaller sweet spot than a round racket ask for good timing, and players who want maximum power. Our intermediate padel rackets and advanced padel rackets pages list alternatives, and our teardrop padel rackets page covers the shape.

Add fresh padel balls, a good overgrip from our padel grips range, proper padel shoes and a racket protector. Our guide to choosing a padel racket explains weight and balance, and the full padel racket range has the rest.

Not for you if

You are new to padel, you want the most power or you want sellers to agree on the shape and balance before you buy.
