Pallap Power Star Padel Racket
£152.09
The Pallap Power Star padel racket is a 360 to 365g diamond with a balance of 255 to 260mm, built for intermediate to advanced players who want a diamond's power without quite the extreme weight of the Power Elite or Power Pro above it. This is the current 2026 season.
It's the third and most affordable racket in Pallap's Power family, and the one where a reviewer actually separated the racket's own weight from the weight of its wrist cord, a distinction most retailer listings skip entirely.

Which level is the Pallap Power Star 2026 Padel Racket for?
By Tushan Das, Owner, Padel Depot · Updated
The weight figure most listings don't give you
A dedicated review from padelspeed.com measures the racket at 360 to 365g without its wrist cord, and separately notes the cord itself adds roughly 8g. Most Pallap listings, and most padel racket listings generally, just give one number without saying whether the cord is included, so a figure that looks slightly heavier elsewhere might just include a part most reviewers leave out.
That puts the racket at around 368 to 373g as you'd actually swing it with the cord on your wrist, which matters if you're comparing it against a sibling racket's listed figure.

The build
The face is described as Ultra Carbon Alu 15K, a basalt-carbon weave, and the core is Puretouch 28 foam, medium density. That's the same core name already seen on the Evoforce Team, which raises our confidence that it's a genuine Pallap core rather than a single retailer's guess, since two separate rackets now carry the same name from two separate sources.
Balance sits at 255 to 260mm on the two sources that give a figure, which one retailer simply labels Top rather than a number. Our catalogue tag currently says low, which neither source supports.
Where Power Star sits against Elite and Pro
All three Power rackets are diamonds within a few grams of each other, but balance tells them apart. The Power Elite is head-heavy, the Power Pro runs higher still at a measured 271mm, and Power Star sits a touch lower at 255 to 260mm, which should make it the most forgiving of the three at the net even though it's still a diamond built to attack.
A 2025 edition of the Power Star is confirmed to share almost the same weight and balance window as this 2026 version (358 to 365g, around 260mm), so the change year to year is smaller than the model number implies. Our own catalogue listing for the 2025 racket currently shows a lighter 350g, which no outside source we've checked agrees with; flagged rather than quietly carried over.

Who should buy it
Intermediate players ready to try a diamond and advanced players who want one without the most extreme balance in the range. It's also carrying a genuine small discount at the moment, unusual for a brand new enough that deep cuts are rare. Our diamond padel rackets page sets it against Bullpadel, Oxdog and Varlion's diamonds.
Not for you if
You're still building consistent contact, or you want the most forgiving shape on the market. A diamond's sweet spot is smaller than a teardrop's or a round's whatever the balance. Our control padel racket page or Pallap's own Evoforce Team are gentler places to start, and the Velocity Star keeps this racket's 255 to 260mm balance in a teardrop head.
Setting it up
Fit a padel racket protector before your first session; diamonds clip the glass more than rounder shapes. Keep the handle tacky with an overgrip from our padel grip range.
Pair it with fresh balls from our padel balls range and a padel bag with a thermal pocket. Add padel shoes for sand-filled turf, see the full padel racket range, and the guide on how to choose a padel racket if you're comparing shapes.
