The most detailed review of any Pallap racket we've seen

padelverdict.com scores it power 8.3, stability 8.2, spin 8.1, control 7.2, manoeuvrability 7.1, playability 7.1, comfort 7.0 and sweet spot 7.0, for an overall 8.2. It also breaks the racket down by playing style: an 8.12 fit for attackers, 7.71 for hybrid players and 7.26 for defenders, with a stiffness rating of 60 out of 100, medium on their scale.

The reviewer's verdict is blunt: this is a specialist tool for competitive intermediates and advanced players who already strike the ball cleanly and win points at the net. All-court players and anyone still building consistent contact are better served by a hybrid or round shape instead.

The build

The face is Rocksolid 24K carbon, a 24,000-filament weave, with a Hyperspin rough surface for extra bite. The core is EVA 30, described as medium-firm, inside a Kevlar-reinforced frame with Pallap's bridge stabiliser, a 38mm profile and a 57-hole pattern. One source states the racket is made in Spain, the same claim made separately about the unrelated Evoforce Pro, which makes it worth taking a little more seriously as a real manufacturing detail rather than a one-off.

Rocksolid and Hyperspin both turn up on the diamond-shaped Power Elite too, confirming they're Pallap-wide branding terms rather than something unique to one racket.

A weight figure that disagrees with itself

This is a different kind of inconsistency to the ones we've flagged on other Pallap pages. It's not two retailers disagreeing with each other; it's one detailed review giving four different weight figures for the same racket: 365 to 370g in the review text, 361g in its own spec box, and 358g and 365g from two independently weighed units. We're reporting all four rather than averaging them into a number nobody actually measured.

Who should buy it

Competitive intermediates and advanced players who already hit the ball cleanly and want to finish points overhead. If that's not you yet, the Power Elite is a step down in balance, or our diamond padel rackets page compares both against Bullpadel, Oxdog and Varlion's diamonds.

Not for you if

You play all-court rather than purely attacking, or your contact isn't consistent yet. The review itself says this racket is not suited to all-court players or anyone still building consistency, and recommends a hybrid or round shape instead. Our control padel racket page is a better starting point.

Setting it up

Fit a padel racket protector early; a diamond takes more knocks on the glass than a rounder frame. Keep the handle tacky with an overgrip from our padel grip range, since precision matters more on a racket built around clean contact.

Pair it with fresh balls from our padel balls range and a padel bag with a thermal pocket; for travel with two rackets and a laptop, see Pallap's 39 litre backpack. Add padel shoes for sand-filled turf, see the full padel racket range, and the guide on how to choose a padel racket if you're comparing shapes.

Pallap Power Pro Padel Racket: questions people ask

Is the Pallap Power Pro high balance or medium balance?

A detailed review measures it at 271mm and calls it high. Our catalogue tag currently says medium, which we can't reconcile with that measurement, so we're flagging the conflict.

How heavy is the Pallap Power Pro?

Oddly, even one detailed review gives four different figures: 365 to 370g in its text, 361g in its own spec box, and 358g and 365g from two units it weighed itself. We've reported all four rather than pick one.

Is the Pallap Power Pro good for intermediate players?

For competitive intermediates with clean, consistent technique, yes. The reviewer who scored it specifically says it is not suited to all-court players or anyone still building consistent contact.

What's the difference between the Power Pro and Power Elite?

Balance, mainly. The Power Pro runs higher at 271mm; the Power Elite is described as head-heavy. Both are diamonds aimed at advanced players, with the Pro leaning further towards pure attacking.

What technology does the Pallap Power Pro use?

A Rocksolid 24K carbon face with a Hyperspin rough surface, an EVA 30 medium-firm core, and a Kevlar frame with a bridge stabiliser and a 57-hole pattern.
