Pallap Power Elite Padel Racket

£184.80

The Pallap Power Elite padel racket is a 360g diamond with a head-heavy balance, built for advanced to expert players who finish points overhead. It's the first Pallap racket we've written up with real numeric ratings rather than retailer adjectives.

Where Pallap's Evoforce range is all teardrops, Power switches to a diamond head, trading forgiveness for raw smashing power.

The first numbers we have for a Pallap racket

padelreference.com rates it Power 8, Control 7, Comfort 6, Manoeuvrability 6, Effect (spin) 8 and Tolerance 7 on its own 0 to 10 scale. That's a genuinely useful shorthand: high power and spin, moderate control, and a racket that doesn't forgive a mistimed shot the way a lower-rated frame would. Every number here comes from that one source, so treat it as one expert's assessment rather than an independently verified score.

The build

The face is Rocksolid 24K Carbon Fiber with a Hyperspin sandblasted finish for extra bite on the ball, over an EVA 28 foam core that padelreference describes as medium density, leaning towards flexible and comfortable rather than rock hard. The frame is Carbon-Kevlar, reinforced with what Pallap calls a Bridge Stabilizer and Basalt-Carbon inserts running to the handle.

"Rocksolid" turns up on the Evoforce Pro too, a completely different shape and family, so it looks like a Pallap-wide term for a reinforcement technique rather than something unique to this racket.

A balance conflict that isn't just an Evoforce problem

We flagged our catalogue's balance tag against outside sources repeatedly on the Evoforce range, and the same thing happens here. padelreference's own spec table calls this racket head heavy; our catalogue tag says low. That tells us the mismatch runs across Pallap's catalogue, not just one family, which is worth the owner knowing as a single fix rather than five separate ones.

Who should buy it

Advanced to expert players who want a diamond's power and already have the technique to control it. Our diamond padel rackets page sets it against Bullpadel, Oxdog, Varlion and Siux's diamonds and hybrids, and advanced padel rackets covers the level more broadly.

Not for you if

You're still building consistency, or you want a racket that helps on a mistimed shot. A head-heavy diamond with an 8-rated power score gives little back on contact away from the centre. The Evoforce range, starting with the Evoforce Team, is a gentler way into Pallap's carbon rackets.

Setting it up

Fit a padel racket protector early; a diamond clips the glass more than a rounder shape. Keep the handle tacky with an overgrip from our padel grip range, since precision matters more on a head-heavy frame.

Pair it with fresh balls from our padel balls range and a padel bag with a thermal pocket. Add padel shoes for sand-filled turf, see the full padel racket range, and the guide on how to choose a padel racket if you're comparing shapes.

Pallap Power Elite Padel Racket: questions people ask

Is the Pallap Power Elite the same as the Power Velocity Elite 01?

No, despite the similar name. This racket belongs to Pallap's separate Power family. The Power Velocity Elite 01 is from the Velocity family instead, with a different face and core, and no independent review we could find.

Is the Pallap Power Elite head-heavy?

padelreference.com's own spec table says yes. Our catalogue tag currently says low balance, which we can't reconcile with that source, so we're flagging the conflict rather than picking a side.

How does the Pallap Power Elite differ from the Evoforce range?

Shape. Every Evoforce racket is a teardrop; the Power Elite is a diamond, trading some of the teardrop's forgiveness for more power on the smash.

Is the Pallap Power Elite good for intermediate players?

Not really. It's pitched at advanced to expert players, and a head-heavy diamond with an 8-rated power score punishes a mistimed shot more than a teardrop would.

How heavy is the Pallap Power Elite?

Most sources give 360g, with one retailer listing it slightly heavier at 365g.

What technology does the Pallap Power Elite use?

A Rocksolid 24K Carbon face with a Hyperspin sandblasted finish, an EVA 28 foam core, and a Carbon-Kevlar frame reinforced with a Bridge Stabilizer and Basalt-Carbon inserts running to the handle.
