Wilson Bela Pro V3 Padel Racket (2025)

£176.29

The Wilson Bela Pro V3 is the heavy, firm top of Fernando Belasteguín's signature line: a 24K carbon face over a Power Foam core at about 370 g, for intermediate-advanced and advanced players who take the ball early and finish at the net. Tennis Warehouse's listing calls it Wilson's heaviest teardrop frame.

Padelful scores it 8.6 overall with the best power of the three Bela V3 rackets at 9.0, and warns that defence takes work and rushed contact is punished. Shape and balance are where the listings split: one says diamond with a high balance, another says teardrop at 265 mm.

What makes the Bela Pro V3 the Pro

Three things, mostly. The face moves up to 24K carbon, the frame is carbon with C2 tubular construction (per Tennis Warehouse), and the whole racket gets heavier than the standard Bela V3. The rest of the Bela kit carries over: a V-Bridge frame to reduce twisting, Spin² texture at the top of the face and a Duo Grid hole pattern with big holes up high for power and small ones low for control.

V3 is Wilson's generation number, and in this case it means the 2025 racket. The lighter Bela LS V3 is the third member of the family, and last-generation Bela rackets still appear in search results, so check the V before you buy.

How it plays: heavy, direct, unforgiving when you are late

Mass is the point. Padelful credits stable, penetrating volleys, explosive smash power and real bite on the bandeja and víbora. If you like to be at the net early and make the other pair hurry, this is the sort of racket that rewards you for it.

Pay attention to the other column too. Defence needs extra work, balls that arrive slowly leave the strings with little exit, and rushed contact is punished. Rebound, at 7.9, is the lowest of its ratings. Picture a racket that helps a good swing and does nothing for a scrappy one.

Diamond or teardrop, high balance or 265 mm?

Padelful calls it a diamond with a high balance and gives 360 and 375 g. Tennis Warehouse calls it a teardrop at 370 g (give or take 10 g) with a 265 mm balance, which it labels medium-low. Both agree on the 24K carbon face and the Power Foam core. They also agree on the level: advanced, or intermediate-advanced at the softest reading.

We would not hang a purchase on the shape word. A weight near 370 g with a firm foam core is a heavy racket whichever label sits on the page. If balance matters to you, try one in your hand, or compare it with the standard V3, which Tennis Warehouse lists at the same 265 mm but 5 g lighter.

Bela Pro V3 against the rest of the family

Against the standard Bela V3, the Pro gives you power, up from 7.8 to 9.0 on Padelful, and takes away rebound and some manoeuvrability. Control is level. The Bela LS V3 goes the other way, lighter at 355 g and easier to swing. For a firmer Wilson diamond, the Defy Pro V1 is the other heavy option. For a different brand's heavy attacker, look at the Bullpadel Vertex 05 padel racket or the Head Extreme Pro, or browse our diamond padel rackets and advanced padel rackets.

Who should skip the Bela Pro V3

Most people, honestly. Beginners and early improvers will find a heavy, firm racket hard work and slow to forgive, and our beginner padel rackets page is the better place to start. Defenders, anyone with a sore elbow and players who like soft help from the racket should look at the intermediate padel rackets instead.

Not for you if

You are new to padel, you spend most points defending or you want a forgiving racket. Padelful's own cons are weak defence, a low ball exit on slow balls and a penalty for rushed contact.

Setting up a Bela Pro V3

A heavy racket takes a beating at the frame, so fit a racket protector before the first match and keep a fresh overgrip from our padel grips range to hand. Use good padel balls because a dead one does the Pro no favours, and wear proper padel shoes to match the speed you will want at the net. The Wilson Bela Super Tour bag carries the racket and the rest of the kit.

Wilson Bela Pro V3 Padel Racket (2025): questions people ask

Is the Wilson Bela Pro V3 the same as the Bela V3?

No. The Pro V3 has a 24K carbon face, a carbon C2 tubular frame and more weight than the standard V3, which uses a 3K carbon face. They are separate rackets with their own pages.

Is the Wilson Bela Pro V3 good for intermediate players?

Only strong intermediates. Padelful rates it intermediate-advanced to advanced, and Tennis Warehouse says advanced. A heavy, firm racket is hard work if your timing is still developing.

Is the Bela Pro V3 more powerful than the Bela V3?

Yes. Padelful gives the Pro 9.0 for power and the standard V3 7.8. The Pro gives up some rebound and manoeuvrability for it.

How heavy is the Wilson Bela Pro V3?

Tennis Warehouse lists 370 g with a 10 g tolerance. Padelful lists 360 and 375 g. Expect a racket in the high 360s to low 370s.

Is the Wilson Bela Pro V3 a diamond or a teardrop?

Padelful says diamond with a high balance. Tennis Warehouse says teardrop with a 265 mm balance. The label differs, but both describe a heavy, firm racket.

Is the Bela Pro V3 still the current Wilson Bela Pro?

It is the 2025 generation. Wilson numbers rackets by version rather than year, so V3 identifies it. Check the V before you buy.
