Wilson Bela LS V3 Padel Racket (2025)
£145.80
The Wilson Bela LS V3 is the light version of Fernando Belasteguín's racket: 355 g with a Power Foam core and a Comfort Flex face, built for players who want quick hands at the net and a kinder feel than the heavier Belas. Tennis Warehouse calls it the most manoeuvrable and user-friendly racket in the Bela series.
Padelful rates it 8.5 overall, with control and manoeuvrability both at 8.9 and power at 7.4. It leans on touch rather than muscle. Sellers disagree on whether the head is a teardrop or a diamond, and on whether it is an intermediate racket or an attacker's.

Which level is the Wilson Bela LS V3 2025 Padel Racket for?
By Tushan Das, Owner, Padel Depot · Updated
The light Bela, and what LS means
LS stands for the light version (a child would start on the 310 g Bela Junior V2 instead), and the weight shows the point: 355 g against about 365 g for the standard Bela V3 and about 370 g for the Bela Pro V3. V3 is Wilson's generation number and means the 2025 racket here, so ignore older Bela listings.
It keeps the family hardware. V-Bridge geometry cuts twisting, Spin² texture sits at the top of the face, a Duo Grid hole pattern puts bigger holes up high and smaller ones low, and a stability channel is built in. What changes is the face. Comfort Flex is Wilson's name for a construction meant to add power while sparing the arm.

How it plays: fast hands, soft edges, not a hammer
Padelful describes a quick, comfortable racket that leans on touch. Handling is the headline. Volleys come out clean, the chiquita is easy to place and the bandeja stays controlled, and the reviewer says the balance never feels cumbersome. Players who spend the match at the net will notice the speed first.
The other column is short but telling. Defence needs active hands, it is not a heavy hitter and blocks lack extra stability. A 7.4 for power is the lowest in the Bela range, so if you want the racket to finish the point for you, look higher up the family.
Teardrop or diamond? Intermediate or attacker?
Tennis Warehouse lists a teardrop at 355 g (give or take 10 g), 265 mm and what it labels medium-low balance, and rates it intermediate. Padelful calls it a diamond with no balance figure and suggests it for attacking intermediates and advanced players. Both name Comfort Flex and Power Foam.
Our read is a light, quick racket whose balance sits around the middle, comfortable enough for a developing player and fast enough for a good one. The shape word differs; the weight and core agree.

LS, standard or Pro?
Padelful has all three Belas close on control. The LS wins for manoeuvrability at 8.9, the standard V3 for sweet spot at 9.0 and the Pro for power at 9.0. Pick the LS if swing speed and arm comfort matter most. If you prefer another brand's light, forgiving teardrop, try the Bullpadel Ionic Light 26 or the Wilson Optix Lite V2, the Wilson Accent LT, or browse our teardrop and hybrid padel rackets.

Who should skip the Bela LS V3
Heavy hitters, for a start. If you win points with the smash, our advanced padel rackets page has stronger options. Defenders who stand deep will find blocks lack stability, and complete beginners may be happier with a plain frame from our beginner padel rackets. If you are an intermediate looking around, our intermediate padel rackets page compares the field.
Not for you if
You want maximum power, you defend from the back or you need a settled shape label. Padelful scores power 7.4 and lists weak blocks among its cons.
Setting it up
A light racket feels better with a touch of weight added at the grip end, so a fresh overgrip from our padel grips range does more than you would think. Fit a racket protector, play with good padel balls and wear proper padel shoes. The Wilson Bela backpack carries it all.
Not sure about shape and weight? Our guide to choosing a padel racket explains it, and the full padel racket range has the rest.
