Wilson Accent LT Padel Racket (2025)

£120

The Wilson Accent LT padel racket is the light version of Wilson's Accent teardrop: about 350 g, a carbon face, a soft EVA core and a teardrop head, built for lighter players and improvers who want a quick, comfortable racket. LT stands for the lighter build.

Padelful scores manoeuvrability at 9.6, control 8.4, overall 8.3 and power 7.5. It is easy to swing and forgiving off-centre, and it will not hit through the ball for you.

What the Accent LT is

Padel Shack lists a 350 g teardrop with a carbon and woven fibreglass face, a soft EVA core and a moulded texture that, it says, increases ball contact time. Wilson's features are an Amplified Face Shape for a larger sweet spot, an Infinity Edge with a concave design and a detachable wristcord. Padelful describes a carbon fibre face and frame.

Padelful's page for the racket is labelled 2024 and ours says 2025, so treat the year as a colourway label rather than a new mould. The standard Wilson Carbon Force LT is the nearest light teardrop in the range.

How it plays

Padelful lists manoeuvrability, a forgiving sweet spot on off-centre hits, a good balance of power and control and a comfortable feel from the soft core. A manoeuvrability score of 9.6 is the headline, so net exchanges and quick blocks are where it shines.

The trade is the usual one for a 350 g racket. Power sits at 7.5, so heavy smashes will come from your swing rather than the frame. If you are a lighter player or coming back from a sore arm, that is a fair deal.

Where the listings wobble

Padel Shack gives 350 g and 0.38 kg in different places, and a balance of 260 mm in the specification but even in the extra information. Another UK retailer lists it as head heavy, which sits oddly with 260 mm. Level is not stated on Padel Shack, intermediate on Padelful and intermediate to advanced at one Dutch retailer. Shape, soft core and carbon face agree.

Read it as a light, mid-balance carbon teardrop for improvers. If you need balance to the millimetre, weigh and balance one in the shop.
