Wilson Blade LS V4 Padel Racket (2026)

£126

The Wilson Blade LS V4 padel racket is the soft, light version of Wilson's 2026 Blade: a 355 g teardrop with a soft EVA core, a fibreglass weave face and a soft feel, for intermediate players who want comfort, forgiveness and quick hands. It uses the same tubular C2 frame idea as the standard Blade V4.

Padelful scores it 9.2 for manoeuvrability, 9.1 for rebound and 8.8 for sweet spot, with power the lowest at 6.7. It will keep you in the point more easily than it will finish one.

How the Blade LS V4 plays

Padelful calls it a comfort-first racket built for speed, forgiveness and easy ball exit. It lists easy defensive lobs with good depth, forgiveness on off-centre blocks, quick hands at the net and good spin on bandejas and víboras. The downsides are limited power on flat smashes, muted feedback on touch shots and extra acceleration needed on heavy volleys.

The fibreglass face and soft core act like a spring, which is why the rebound score is so high. The same trait makes it forgiving for newer attackers and a little vague for players who like to feel the ball. A younger player would start on the lighter Blade Junior V4.

Blade LS V4 or last year's LS V3

The Blade LS V3 from 2025 has the same 355 g weight and a soft EVA core, but sellers describe its balance differently: 260 mm on Tennis Warehouse and high on Padelgids, against a medium balance for the V4 on Padelmarket. Level wording also drifts, with the V3 called both intermediate and advanced.

Treat the two as close cousins and buy the season you can find at the better listing. If you want the carbon version, step up to the standard Blade V4, which Padelful scores higher for power and control and lower for sweet spot.
