Wilson Blade LS V3 Padel Racket (2025)

£120

The Wilson Blade LS V3 padel racket is the light, fibreglass version of last season's Blade: about 355 g, a teardrop head and a soft foam core, built for players who want a manageable racket with a bigger sweet spot. LS marks the lighter build, and V3 is Wilson's generation number.

Sellers disagree on the details. Padelgids calls the balance high and the level advanced, while stockists summarised in search results give 260 mm and intermediate. We found no independent ratings, so there are none here.

What the Blade LS V3 is

Padelgids lists a 100% fibreglass face, a Soft Eco Foam core, a 38 mm profile and a teardrop head that increases the sweet spot. Wilson's features include C2 tubular construction for durability, an Anti-Fragile Edge, a new hole pattern with bigger holes at the top for overheads and a Top Spin surface. Stockists in search results list the same weight and teardrop shape with a soft EVA core.

It is not the Bela Light V3, which has a carbon and fibreglass face. The current-generation light Blade is the Blade LS V4, and the carbon version of this generation is the Blade V3.

High balance or 260 mm? Intermediate or advanced?

Padelgids says the balance is high, for powerful shots, and rates the racket for advanced players. Tennis Warehouse, Central Sports and others, as summarised in search results, list 355 g with a 10 g tolerance, a 260 mm balance and an intermediate level, and Padelkiwi calls the balance medium to high. Weight, shape and the soft core agree.

A 260 mm balance is close to the middle of the range, and a fibreglass face at 355 g is a forgiving build, so we read this as an intermediate racket with a slightly lively head. The advanced label looks generous for fibreglass.
