Wilson Blade Power Padel Racket

£69.95

The Wilson Blade Power padel racket is an entry-level teardrop for beginners and early improvers: about 365 g, an even balance and a soft core, listed by one UK stockist as a forgiving first racket with a higher sweet spot. It sells on the Blade name and a modest price, and it is not the same racket as the Blade V4 or the Optix V2 Power.

We should be plain about the evidence. Only one stockist page described this racket in our research, the other pages that came up in searches showed other Blades, and we found no independent test. This page tells you what that listing says, what it does not, and who should buy it.

What the Wilson Blade Power is

Padel Shack lists it under Wilson's Blade range with a blue finish, a teardrop-shaped head and a 365 g weight, with a 360 to 370 g spread. The head shape gives, in the listing's words, a balanced mix of power and control, and the balance is even. The frame is 38 mm.

The surface is a moulded texture with what the listing calls a softer hitting surface, the core is a soft Core Foam that is meant to give easy power, and the grip is a Hex Grip with a textured surface for feel. No face material, core name or model year is published, so we will not guess them.

How much do we actually know?

Not a lot, and it is better to say so. Padel Shack's page is the only listing that described this racket in our research. In two searches, other stockists showed the Blade V3, Blade V4, Blade LS V3 and the older Blade Team V2, but not a Blade Power. We found no independent review and no rating, so there are no numbers here for power, control or sweet spot.

Our reading, and it is only that: this is a lower-priced racket in the Blade family aimed at players who have just picked up padel. It borrows the name and the teardrop head of the dearer Blades, and it does not claim the carbon and firm foam of the V4. If a distributor or Wilson publishes a sheet, we will update this page.

Do not mix it up with the V4 or the Optix Power

The Blade V4 is a 2026 redesign with a carbon tubular frame and a firm core, aimed at intermediate and advanced players, and it is covered on our Blade V4 page. The Blade V3 is last season's firm racket. The Optix V2 Power is a different Wilson line entirely, and the round Wilson Match Point is another entry racket with a similar paper trail. The Blade Power sits well below the V4 in ambition, in everything but the shared weight and shape.

If you want the soft, light end of the Blade line, the older Blade LS V3 is another option, and for the current one, the Blade LS V4 is the one with a published specification. For a soft carbon-and-glass Wilson that costs more but has real ratings, look at the Wilson Carbon Force.

Who should skip the Blade Power

Anyone who needs verified specifications before buying, and anyone who wants a firm, precise racket. If you are an improver, our intermediate padel rackets page compares better-documented options, and shoppers on a budget can browse our cheap padel racket page for alternatives such as the Dunlop FX Start or the Head Evo Speed.

Not for you if

You want published ratings, a confirmed face and core material or the carbon feel of a Blade V4. Only one stockist described this racket in our research and we found no independent test.

Setting it up

Add a racket protector and a fresh overgrip from our padel grips range. Proper padel balls and the right padel shoes help a first-season player more than the racket does, and a padel bag keeps the kit together.
