Wilson X3 Bottles Padel Balls

£4.15

Wilson X3 bottles padel balls is the name on this listing, and it is an odd one: Wilson and the big retailers sell the X3 as a can or tube of three Dura-Weave balls, and we found only one marketplace title that says bottles. It is Wilson's everyday club ball, for players who want regular-match balls without paying for the tour-level Premier Padel ball.

What we cannot tell you from our own listing is the ball count, so check the pack before you order. If you only want one can of three, the single X3 tube is the clearer listing.

What "bottles" means on an X3 listing

Wilson's own UK page calls the product the X3 Padel Ball, lists three balls to a can, gives the model as WR8900800E, and shows one colour, yellow. Tennis Warehouse Europe sells the same ball as a tube or can of three. The word bottles turns up in a Decathlon Poland marketplace title, which looks like a translation quirk rather than a different ball.

Our reading is that this is the same X3 as the single tube, listed under a different name. We could not confirm that from a seller, so treat it as our best guess and not a promise.

Table of what sources call the Wilson X3 pack: Wilson UK and Tennis Warehouse Europe say can or tube of 3, Decathlon Poland titles it ball bottles and our listing gives no count

Fast courts or slow courts? The sources disagree

Wilson's UK page says the X3 suits slower, grittier surfaces and still works on any padel court, with Dura-Weave felt wrapped tightly to help the ball move faster in slow conditions. Tennis Warehouse Europe says it was designed for faster surfaces. Both describe the same felt and the same eco overcap, so one of them is probably paraphrasing loosely.

We lean on the brand's own page, but we have not tested the balls and Wilson publishes no pressure or core spec. If cold, damp UK courts are your main surface, the Premier Padel Speed is the Wilson ball sold for those conditions.

Cans, cases and how far they go

A single can holds three balls. Retailers also sell a 24-can case, which is 72 balls, and our dozen listing is the one to read if you are buying in bulk. Once a can is open, a ball pressuriser keeps the leftovers lively, and the X3's eco cap is reusable as well.

There is no lab test of how long the X3 holds pressure, so any promise of a number of sessions is a buyer's guess. Browse the full padel ball range if you want to compare other brands.

Who should skip these

Anyone who needs a published pressure type, a stated core or a firm ball count before they buy. And if you are still choosing your racket, our beginner padel rackets page and the full padel racket range are better starting points. Our guide to choosing a padel racket covers how a ball and a racket work together.

Not for you if

You need a confirmed ball count in this exact listing, or a ball with a published pressure type.

Wilson X3 Bottles Padel Balls: questions people ask

Are Wilson X3 bottles the same as the X3 tube?

We think so. Wilson and the retailers describe one X3 ball in a can of three, and the word bottles appears only in a marketplace title. We could not confirm it with a seller.

How many balls are in the Wilson X3 bottles pack?

Our listing does not state a count. A standard X3 can holds three balls, so check the pack before ordering anything bigger.

Is the Wilson X3 a fast or slow padel ball?

Sources disagree. Wilson's UK page says it suits slower, grittier surfaces, while Tennis Warehouse Europe says faster ones.

Is the Wilson X3 better than the Premier Padel ball?

The Premier Padel is the tour ball and the X3 is positioned as the everyday club ball, so it depends on how much you want to pay for tour spec.

How do I keep Wilson X3 balls fresh after opening?

A ball pressuriser slows pressure loss, and the eco overcap on the can is reusable. There is no published lifespan for the X3.
