Wilson X3 Padel Balls (Dozen)

£15

The Wilson X3 padel balls are Wilson's everyday club ball, sold in cans of three, for players who want a ball for regular matches without moving up to the tour-level Premier Padel ball. Wilson says it is designed for faster court surfaces, and the felt is Dura-Weave.

Our listing says dozen but does not state the ball count, so check the pack before you order. A dozen cans would be 36 balls.

What we can confirm about the X3

Tennis Warehouse Europe describes the X3 as a blend of consistency, durability and playability, designed for faster court surfaces, with Dura-Weave felt and an eco overcap that halves the plastic in the cap and keeps the balls from spilling if you reuse the can. It does not say whether the ball is pressurised or give any construction detail.

On court speed the sources split: Wilson's own UK page says slower, grittier surfaces, while Tennis Warehouse Europe says faster ones. We set the two side by side on the X3 bottles page. One listing mentions moulded rubber made in the USA, which we could not confirm elsewhere. Treat it as a note, not a spec.

X3 or Premier Padel for UK courts?

The Wilson Premier Padel balls are the tour ball and the Premier Padel Speed is the version for slower, colder conditions. The X3 sits below them as the club ball. Because it is built for faster surfaces, a cold British evening is not its home turf, so players on slower courts may prefer the Speed. Our full range is on the padel balls page, and the standard Premier also comes as a single canister.

Positioning from Wilson and retailer listings.

How long they last and how many you get

There is no lab test of the X3. Buyers say the pressure holds for several sessions, with one putting it at about five moderately intense ones, and German retailer reviews are lukewarm, calling them decent balls that keep their bounce for a while. Treat that as anecdote.

Pack counts are the bigger trap. The single tube has three balls, but our ball bottles and dozen listings do not state a count. Keep leftover cans fresh with a ball pressuriser.

Who should skip the X3

Players on cold, slow courts who want a ball built for them, and anyone who needs a published pressure and construction spec before buying. If you are choosing a racket to go with them, our beginner padel rackets page is a good place to start, and the full padel racket range covers every level. Our guide to choosing a padel racket explains shape and weight.

Not for you if

You need to know the exact ball count in the pack or a published pressure type before ordering.
