Wilson Blade V3 Padel Racket (2025)

£142.80

The Wilson Blade V3 padel racket is last season's Blade: a 365 g teardrop with a carbon and fibreglass composite face, a firm EVA core and a C2 tubular frame, built for intermediate and advanced players who want a balanced blend of power and control. V3 is Wilson's generation number, so this is the 2025 racket and the V4 is the 2026 one.

Tennis Warehouse calls it advanced, with a 270 mm balance and a tester who found it on the more powerful side for a teardrop. Padel Shack lists an even balance. The core, weight and shape are the same on both.

What the Blade V3 is

Tennis Warehouse lists a carbon and woven fibreglass composite that it says feels softer and more explosive than fibreglass, a firm EVA foam core for crisp shots, a C2 tubular carbon build, an Anti-Fragile Edge, a Spin Effect texture, Sharp Hole Technology and a Duo Grid hole pattern with bigger holes at the top. Padel Shack lists the same features with a moulded texture.

The current racket is the Wilson Blade V4, and the light fibreglass sibling is the Blade LS V3. If you meet a Blade Pro V3 in search results, that is a separate 2024 racket.

Table comparing the Wilson Blade V3 and Blade V4: weight, balance, face, frame, core and independent scores

Higher balance or even?

Tennis Warehouse gives 270 mm, which it calls a higher balance point that adds power, and rates the level advanced. Padel Shack says even and states no level, describing a racket for competitive players who want control, durability and spin. Both give 365 g, with Padel Shack also showing 0.38 kg in its extra information.

Our read is a firm, mid-weight teardrop with the balance a little above the middle. Neither seller publishes independent test scores for the V3 that we found, so there are none here.

Blade V3 or V4, or something lighter

On Tennis Warehouse's figures the V3 and V4 are close: both 365 g, with 270 mm and 267 mm balances, and both firm EVA cores. The V4 is the redesign and, on Padelful, a precise control racket with a modest sweet spot. If you can find the V3 for less, it is a sensible all-court buy. For something lighter, see the Blade LS V3 or the Blade LS V4, and for a firm Wilson with a Belasteguín link, the Bela V3.
