Wilson Blade V4 Junior Padel Racket (2026)

A teardrop head keeps the sweet spot a little higher than a round one, and a fibreglass face is the usual way to get a racket light, tough and forgiving at the same time. iPon says the fibreglass face extends the sweet spot and the soft EVA foam gives a soft touch and absorbs vibration.

Zona de Padel lists a 36 mm profile, which is thinner than the 38 mm of most adult rackets, and a smooth surface. iPon says the face has a 3D texture. We cannot tell you which is right, so look at the racket when it arrives.

iPon and Padel Shack give 300 g, and Zona de Padel gives 300 to 330 g. A Just Tennis snippet puts the balance low at 245 mm, while iPon calls it natural balance. Zona de Padel even lists the level as intermediate, which makes no sense for a kid racket and is probably a data slip.

When a child outgrows it, the Blade LS V4 is the next step at 355 g with a soft EVA core, and the Blade V4 is the adult carbon racket. The other Wilson junior is the Bela Junior V2 at about 310 g.
