Wilson Bela Junior V2 Padel Racket

Padel Nuestro describes the Bela range as Wilson's signature line, developed with Fernando Belasteguín. The junior V2 takes the name but not the build. It uses a fibreglass face and an EVA core, and sellers quote about 310 g, which is a long way below the 355 to 375 g of the adult Bela V3 rackets.

Fibreglass is the usual junior choice because it is tough, forgiving and cheap to make light. The EVA core is not specified further by any source we found, so we cannot say how soft or firm it is.

Padelful has a page for the original Wilson Bela Junior from 2022, not the V2. It lists a diamond shape, 310, a fibreglass face and frame, and a medium-soft feel, and scores it 7.4 overall, with 5.2 for power, 6.9 for control, 8.1 for rebound, 9.8 for manoeuvrability and 6.9 for sweet spot. Those are Padelful's marks for the older racket, not ours, and not for this one.

One UAE listing gives 370 g for the V2, which looks like a typing error beside the 310 g everywhere else. We have no weight for it beyond about 310 g, so check the box.

The adult Bela V3 is a hybrid with a 3K carbon face, the lighter Bela LS V3 is the one to look at when a teenager outgrows the junior, and the Wilson Blade V4 Junior is the other junior from the same brand.
