Babolat Sensa Womens Padel Shoes 2026

4 · £99

The Babolat Sensa womens padel shoes are the supportive women's shoe in Babolat's range, for club players who play often and want side support as well as a padel sole. Babolat lists a knitted mesh forefoot, Power Straps on both sides, two lateral reinforcements, a Michelin rubber sole with studs for sand and artificial turf, and KPRS-X cushioning in the heel, with a 10 mm drop in UK sizes 4 to 8.

Several seasons of the Sensa are on sale and our catalogue holds more than one listing, so check the colour and season before you buy. Babolat's page gives no weight, and we found no independent review.

What Babolat lists for the Sensa

The page describes a knitted mesh forefoot that Babolat says is made to feel like a slipper, held by double side straps that it calls Power Straps. Two lateral reinforcements add stability when you change direction, which on a padel court is most of the time. The Michelin sole has two grooves under the forefoot for flex, a stud pattern for sand and artificial turf, and reinforced zones where the sole wears fastest.

Cushioning is KPRS-X, with an EVA foam insert in the heel, over an OrthoLite die-cut insole. Drop is 10 mm and the fit is standard. The page gives no weight and no player level.

Which season of the Sensa?

The Sensa has been sold under the same name for at least three seasons, and retailers list 2024, 2025 and 2026 versions. A retailer's description of the 2026 shoe talks about breathability and lightness for warm climates, a 2024 listing credits Michelin for the sole, and none states what changed between years. We found no comparison.

That leaves buyers to check the colour and season on the listing. We also hold a 2025 listing and a plain Sensa, and cannot confirm how they differ from this one. One US retailer gives 10.6 oz for a 2026 pair in US size 8.5, about 300 g, which is the only weight we found.

Sensa, Sensa Rise or Jet Ritma?

If you want a clay-court shoe sold for padel as well, the Jet Tere Clay is the light option. The Sensa Rise is the entry shoe, with a reinforced mesh upper and no straps. The Sensa is the one to choose if you play more than once a week or have wobbly ankles. For a slimmer, women's-last fit, Babolat's older Jet Ritma is the other option, though its version is unclear.

Our padel shoes for women page sets the other brands beside Babolat, and K-Swiss's K-Frame is the closest rival for support. Lotto's Superrapida 200 III is another studded padel alternative.

Who should skip the Sensa

Anyone who wants the lightest possible shoe, or who is not sure which season they are buying. The straps and reinforcements add structure, and the only weight we found is about 300 g. A knit forefoot also drinks sand, so it suits a well-kept court better than a gritty outdoor one.

Not for you if

You want a published weight or a confirmed season. Babolat lists neither, and several versions are on sale. The cheaper Sensa Rise is lighter on features, and our padel shoes page explains how to choose by sole and fit.

What to wear it with

A lighter racket helps a smaller player: our womens padel racket page lists them, and the padel racket range covers the rest. Balls are on the padel balls page, and overgrips are on the padel grips page.

A padel bag with a shoe pocket, such as the Babolat RH Pro, keeps sand off the kit. Our guide to choosing a padel racket is the place to start if the racket is still to buy.

Babolat Sensa Womens Padel Shoes 2026: questions people ask

What is the difference between the Babolat Sensa 2026 and the 2025 version?

We could not find a comparison. Retailers list both seasons and none states what changed, so check the colour and season on the listing you buy.

Is the Babolat Sensa the same as the Sensa Rise?

No. Babolat lists Power Straps, lateral reinforcements and KPRS-X cushioning on the Sensa, and a reinforced mesh upper without straps on the Sensa Rise.

Are the Babolat Sensa shoes good for wide feet?

Babolat lists a standard fit and no width. A retailer describes a slimmer women's fit, so wide feet should try them or go up a half size.

How heavy are the Babolat Sensa womens padel shoes?

Babolat gives no weight. One US retailer lists 10.6 oz for a size 8.5 pair, about 300 g.

What sizes does the Babolat Sensa come in?

Babolat UK lists 4 to 8 in half sizes.

Are the Babolat Sensa shoes suitable for sand courts?

Yes. Babolat lists a Michelin sole with studs made for sand and artificial turf, though a knit forefoot can collect sand on a gritty court.
