K-Swiss K-Frame Womens Padel Shoes

The headline feature is the K-Frame, a TPU structure visible in the midsole that adds support and stability on quick changes of direction. Padel is a game of short bursts, split steps and sudden stops, and a shoe that stops the forefoot rolling matters more than a light one. Hyperfoam above it is described as responsive and bouncy.

The outsole is Dragguard 7.0, which K-Swiss describes as durable and extra resistant on abrasive hard courts, with a tread made for indoor and outdoor padel. Duraprint on the upper is there for step-in comfort and breathability, and Dragguard covers the high-wear areas where a toe-dragging player wears holes.

Tennis Warehouse's fit notes read medium width, slightly snug length, low arch and a slight break-in. A low arch suits flatter feet, and a high arch may feel pressed. The snug length argues for sizing up half a size if you are between sizes or wear thick socks. Sizes in the US run 6 to 10, and we found no UK size chart.

At 343 g in a US 8.5 it is not a light shoe, but a women's shoe with a forefoot frame should be solid. The men's K-Frame lists 408 g at US 10.5, which is a different size, so the two weights are not a fair comparison.

The men's K-Frame is the same shoe in men's sizes. For a lighter K-Swiss with a herringbone sole, the Express Light 3 is the choice, and the Court Express 2 Clay is the clay-series entry shoe.

For a cheaper start, the Tura Team is the entry K-Swiss, and the Ultra Court sits between the two. Babolat's Sensa has side straps for support, and the cheaper Sensa Rise is its entry shoe. Our padel shoes for women page lists the other brands.

Anyone who wants the lightest shoe, a roomy fit, or a shoe with a published UK size chart. The forefoot frame and Hyperfoam add weight and stiffness, the fit is snug, and we found no K-Swiss sheet or year.
