K-Swiss Express Light 3 Womens Padel Shoes

5 · £59.94

The K-Swiss Express Light 3 womens padel shoes are a padel-specific lace-up for club players who want a herringbone sole for sand-dressed courts without paying for a tour shoe. Stockists list an Aosta 7.0 non-marking outsole in a sharp herringbone pattern, a CMEVA foam midsole, a mid-foot TPU shank, a Plantar Support Chassis and DuraWrap protection over the forefoot.

We found no year, weight or width for it, so this page sticks to what stockists agree on.

What stockists list for the Express Light 3

Tennis Warehouse describes the shoe as having the support needed specifically for padel, with an outsole designed to optimise movement on padel courts. That outsole is Aosta 7.0, a durable, non-marking rubber cut in a sharp herringbone pattern, and the herringbone is the point: the grooves channel sand out from under the foot instead of letting it roll like ball bearings.

Above it sits a CMEVA foam midsole, described as soft, responsive and light, and a TPU shank through the midfoot that adds torsional stability when you push off sideways. A Plantar Support Chassis is listed to help during lateral changes of direction, and the upper is a lightweight mesh blend with DuraWrap protecting the forefoot from toe drag.

Which Express Light 3 is this?

Shops label the women's Express Light 3 as 2024 or 2025, and there is a men's version too. No source we found gives a year for the shoe, so we cannot say the 2024 label is right. Listings also disagree on small things. Racket Central describes a synthetic leather upper and women's sizes 6 to 11, Padel Nuestro adds DuraWrap Flex, and Tennis Warehouse has a mesh blend and 6 to 10.

That could be different colourways, different builds, or just different copywriters. Check the colour and size run on the listing you buy. The men's version has its own page, the Express Light 3 for men.

Express Light 3 or another K-Swiss?

Among K-Swiss shoes sold for padel, this is the one with the full herringbone. The Court Express 2 Clay is a clay-series entry shoe with a zigzag sole (the Hypercourt Express 2 is the all-court sibling, and the earlier Express Light 2 HB is the older herringbone shoe), and the Ultrashot Light and Tura Team publish no specification. Babolat's Sensa Rise is the other entry-level women's padel shoe to compare.

The women's K-Frame is the heavier performance shoe, the Ultra Court the supportive middle one, and our padel shoes for women page lists the other brands.

Who should skip the Express Light 3

Anyone who wants a published weight or a lot of cushioning. The midsole is CMEVA, which is described as light rather than plush, and neither a weight nor a width is given. Players with wide feet should try a pair before committing, since we found no width information.

Not for you if

You want a confirmed year or a published weight. We found neither, and four similar listings sit in our range. Our padel shoes page explains how to choose by sole and fit.

Kit to go with the Express Light 3

A lighter racket suits smaller players, and our womens padel racket page lists them, with the wider padel racket range alongside. Balls are on the padel balls page and overgrips on the padel grips page.

A bag with a shoe pocket keeps sand off the rest of your kit, such as the Babolat RH Perf 2nd Gen, and the padel bag page lists others. Our guide to choosing a padel racket is the place to start if you are new.

K-Swiss Express Light 3 Womens Padel Shoes: questions people ask

Is the K-Swiss Express Light 3 the same as the Express Lt 3 Padel and the Express Light 3 HB?

They appear to be the same shoe under different spellings. Tennis Warehouse says Express Lt 3 Padel and Padel Nuestro says Express Light 3 HB, where HB refers to the herringbone sole.

Is the K-Swiss Express Light 3 a 2024 or a 2025 shoe?

We found no source that gives a year. Shops use both labels, and we cannot confirm that the shoes differ.

Is the Express Light 3 a real padel shoe?

Yes. Stockists describe a padel-specific herringbone sole in non-marking Aosta 7.0 rubber, a TPU shank and a support chassis.

What is the difference between the Express Light 3 and the Court Express 2 Clay?

The Express Light 3 is padel-labelled with a herringbone sole and a CMEVA midsole. The Court Express 2 Clay is a clay-series entry shoe with a zigzag sole and a K-EVA midsole.

How heavy is the K-Swiss Express Light 3 for women?

No stockist gives a padel-shoe weight. One tennis version lists about 280 g, but that is a different shoe, so we have not used it.

What sizes does the K-Swiss Express Light 3 come in?

Tennis Warehouse lists US women's 6 to 10 in half sizes. Racket Central lists 6 to 11 for another colourway, so check the size run on the listing.
