Babolat RH Perf 2nd Gen Padel Bag

£54.99

The Babolat RH Perf 2nd Gen padel bag is a 52-litre racket holdall for players who carry up to four rackets and want a plain, hard-wearing bag without paying for the bigger RH Pro. Babolat lists it at 60 x 30 x 37 cm, with an isothermal lining, a single main compartment, two side pockets, a zipped accessory pocket and a carabiner on the back for hanging it on the court fence.

Babolat's UK page names the bag RH Perf Padel and does not use the words 2nd Gen. Retailers add them, and some label the same style 759021 as the 2025 RH Perf, so treat 2nd Gen, 2025 and RH Perf Padel as names for one bag.

What the RH Perf is built to carry

It is a tall, narrow holdall, 60 cm high, which is the point: rackets stand upright inside it rather than lying flat, and a padel racket is 45.5 cm long, so the frames sit well within the height. Four fit, according to Babolat, and the width of 30 cm tells you that they fit with little to spare. Two rackets and a few layers is the comfortable load.

Babolat describes the lining as isothermal and says the bag is divided into three compartments. Its own spec list shows one main compartment plus side and accessory pockets, so we read the three as the main space and the two side pockets. It gives no count of insulated compartments, which is why we call the lining isothermal and stop there.

Using it week to week

Mesh pockets and side loops are built for ball tubes and a water bottle, and the zipped pocket is for keys, a phone and grips. The carabiner on the back is a small thing that turns out to be useful on courts where there is nowhere to put a bag down on sand. The outer fabric is recycled polyester that Babolat calls water-repellent, and the lining is recycled and undyed white, so a wet towel will show.

What it does not have is a separate shoe compartment, and Babolat lists no weight. If you carry court shoes in the bag, put them in a carrier first so sand stays off the rest of the kit.

RH Perf or RH Pro?

The RH Pro holds the same four rackets in a bigger 62-litre body with three main compartments, one insulated, and a breathable shoe pocket. The Perf is the smaller and cheaper of the two, and the Pro is the one to choose if you want to keep shoes and wet kit apart.

StarVie's Pro Master is a rival with two thermal sleeves. Babolat also lists the RH Pro Juan Lebron and the RH Pro Technical, which share the Pro's shell. If you only need a bag for rackets and a couple of tubes, the Perf is enough, and our padel bag page lists other brands with a thermal pocket. There is a second RH Perf listing, the RH Perf 2025, which may be the same bag under a different label.

Who should skip the RH Perf

Anyone who wants a proper thermal pocket they can rely on, or a place for shoes. Babolat says isothermal and gives no number, and leaves the shoe question blank. A heavy hitter whose racket frames hate a hot car boot should read the thermal section of our padel bag guide before buying.

Not for you if

You carry shoes in the bag or need a bag that is clearly insulated. There is no shoe pocket listed and no insulated-compartment count. The RH Pro is the step up, and our padel bag page lists others.

What goes in it

Start with the rackets: the padel racket range has everything from control rounds to diamonds, and Babolat's Viper Juan Lebron 3.1 is a natural fit for the 60 cm height. A tube from the padel balls range goes in the mesh pocket, and spare overgrips from the padel grips page go in the zip pocket.

Shoes go in a carrier of their own, and the padel shoes page covers what to look for, including Babolat's Premura 3. Our guide to choosing a padel racket is worth a look if you are filling the bag for the first time.

Babolat RH Perf 2nd Gen Padel Bag: questions people ask

Is the Babolat RH Perf 2nd Gen the same as the RH Perf Padel?

Babolat UK lists it as RH Perf Padel, style 759021, and retailers add 2nd Gen. Some shops call the same style the 2025 RH Perf.

How many rackets does the Babolat RH Perf padel bag hold?

Babolat lists four. The bag is 30 cm wide, so four is a snug load and two or three is comfortable.

Does the Babolat RH Perf have a shoe pocket?

None is listed on Babolat UK. The RH Pro has a breathable shoe pocket, if you carry shoes in your bag.

Is the Babolat RH Perf thermal?

Babolat describes it as isothermal and says it has three compartments. It does not give a count of insulated compartments, so we do not claim one.

What is the difference between the RH Perf and the RH Pro?

The Pro is bigger, 62 litres against 52, with three main compartments, one insulated, and a shoe pocket. Both carry four rackets.

Can I hang the RH Perf on the court fence?

Yes. Babolat adds a carabiner clip on the back of the bag for hanging it on the fence.
