Bullpadel Avant S Padel Bag

£37.67

The Bullpadel Avant S padel bag is the smaller of Bullpadel's two racket bags: two rackets in their own thermal side pockets, a ventilated section for shoes, and a main compartment for the rest of your kit. It's built for a player who carries one racket and a spare, not four rackets and a bucket of balls.

At about 58 x 30 x 30 cm it's noticeably smaller than the brand's tour bags, and roughly half the price. Grey with orange and black detailing, polyester with carbon-effect side panels, and padded straps so it carries as a backpack or by its top handle.

Two rackets is plenty for most players

One racket in each thermal side pocket, shoes in the ventilated middle section, a change of clothes and a towel in the main compartment, keys and overgrips in the small side pockets. That's a session for one player with a spare racket, or two players travelling light.

If that sounds thin next to a four-racket Bullpadel bag, it's meant to. Most club players own one racket in use and one in reserve, not a kit bag's worth; the Avant S is sized for that reality rather than a touring pro's.

Avant S or a bigger Bullpadel bag?

The Avant S Gold Carbon is the same line in a black and gold finish, with two main compartments wide enough for a round, diamond or teardrop racket; Padel Nuestro doesn't publish its dimensions, so we can't say if it's any bigger than this one. Step up to the Vertex bag or the Advance bag and you get double the racket capacity at roughly 60 x 30 x 40 cm, for more money. The plain Avant bag is the faux-leather version of the line, listed at 58 x 30 x 33cm with room for up to four rackets, though its listing contradicts itself on whether the pockets are thermal.

Table comparing the Bullpadel Avant S bag with the Avant S Gold Carbon, Vertex bag and Advance bag by racket capacity, thermal pockets and size

Who it suits

Anyone who owns one racket in play and a spare, not a locker full of them: a beginner working through our guide to choosing a padel racket and a best padel racket for beginners pick, an intermediate player who travels light, or a second bag for a child's kids padel racket. It also makes sense as a cheaper way into the Bullpadel look if the full tour bag is more than you need. The full range sits on our padel bag page, and Bullpadel rackets covers which racket to put inside it.

Not for you if

You carry three or four rackets, a bucket of balls and a full change of kit for a club session. The Avant S has one thermal pocket per side; the Vertex bag or Advance bag hold twice as much.

Fit, colour and care

Padel Nuestro's own listing contradicts itself on this bag: its features table says there's no thermal or shoe compartment, while its description names both clearly. We've gone with the description, which matches every other Bullpadel bag of this size, rather than what looks like a template error in the features table.

Grey with orange and black trim is the only colour we currently stock for this listing; the Gold Carbon version is a separate black and gold product. Keep rackets out of a hot car regardless of the thermal pocket, and leave the shoe section unzipped after a session so it dries out.

Bullpadel Avant S Padel Bag: questions people ask

How many rackets does the Bullpadel Avant S bag hold?

Two, one in each of its thermal side pockets, with shoes kept separate in a ventilated centre section.

Is the Bullpadel Avant S the same as the Avant S Gold Carbon?

They're the same line in different finishes. This Avant S is grey with orange and black trim; the Gold Carbon is black with gold branding, and Padel Nuestro doesn't publish dimensions for the Gold Carbon so we can't confirm whether the two are the exact same size.

Bullpadel Avant S or Vertex bag: what is the difference?

Capacity and price. The Avant S holds 2 rackets at about 58 x 30 x 30 cm; the Vertex bag holds up to 4 at about 60 x 30 x 40 cm and costs more.

What size is the Bullpadel Avant S bag?

About 58 x 30 x 30 cm, according to Padel Nuestro UK, making it noticeably smaller than Bullpadel's four-racket bags.

Does the Bullpadel Avant S have a shoe compartment?

Yes, a ventilated section separate from the main compartment, despite Padel Nuestro's own features table listing it as absent; their fuller description confirms it.
