Bullpadel Hybrid Fly 26V Mens Padel Shoes

8 · £82.50

The Bullpadel Hybrid Fly 26V mens padel shoes are built around Bullpadel's FASTLAB idea: a shoe for fast players, with a ROTOX pivot point in the outsole and an X-TRA BASE panel for lateral stability when you plant and change direction. Several retailers put it at 383 g at EU 44, which is light for a shoe with this much lateral structure.

The fit runs slightly long with a wider forefoot, so it's worth ordering half a size down from your usual UK number.

Built to pivot

Bullpadel's FASTLAB shoes are built around quick direction changes rather than raw cushioning, and the Hybrid Fly 26V shows it: a ROTOX pivot system sits under the forefoot for sharper turns, backed by an X-TRA BASE panel that widens the sole's footprint for lateral stability. Bullpadel reinforces the midfoot and heel to limit twisting under load, which matters most on the split-step and the recovery back to centre.

One retailer's listing for this shoe names a different sole, "Clay Padel ST," instead of ROTOX and X-TRA BASE. That same retailer flagged its own template as wrong on a sibling colourway's sole line, so we've gone with the ROTOX and X-TRA BASE naming three other sources agree on, rather than repeat what looks like a copy-paste error.

Fit and sizing

Expect a medium width with a wider forefoot and a medium-to-low arch, closer to a relaxed trainer fit than a snug performance shoe. Retailers describing this shoe say it runs slightly long, and the usual advice is to order half a UK size down from what you'd normally take in a Bullpadel shoe. Give it a short session or two to break in before judging the fit.

We stock the full UK 8 to 11 run, and the autumn/winter Hybrid Fly 26I in black comes in the same sizes.

Hybrid Fly or a Vibram-soled Bullpadel?

The Hybrid Fly sits below Bullpadel's Vibram-soled flagships on both price and structure. The Vertex Vibram 26I and Hack Vibram 25I use a firmer, hybrid herringbone-and-stud Vibram sole built for players training several times a week; the Hybrid Fly's ROTOX and X-TRA BASE build is lighter and aimed more at quick direction changes than all-day durability. For a club player on court two or three times a week, that trade usually makes sense.

Not for you if

You train most days and wear through soles quickly. The firmer, Vibram-soled Vertex Vibram or Hack Vibram will outlast this one.

Who it suits

Intermediate to advanced club players who move quickly and want a lighter shoe than Bullpadel's Vibram-soled range, without needing to spend at the top of the brand's shoe lineup. It pairs naturally with a quick teardrop racket from our padel racket range, and the full mens padel shoes and padel shoes pages have everything else we stock. The same Hybrid Fly platform was made for women in Alejandra Salazar's Flow line; we still have the Flow Hybrid Fly 24I in two sizes. If you're still choosing a racket to go with it, our guide to choosing a padel racket covers shape and balance from the start.

Bullpadel Hybrid Fly 26V Mens Padel Shoes: questions people ask

Is the Bullpadel Hybrid Fly 26V the same as the Vertex or Hack Vibram?

No. The Hybrid Fly uses a lighter ROTOX and X-TRA BASE outsole built for quick direction changes. The Vertex and Hack Vibram use a firmer, Vibram hybrid sole built for players training several times a week.

Does the Bullpadel Hybrid Fly 26V run true to size?

No, retailers describe it as running slightly long with a wider forefoot. The usual advice is to order half a UK size down from your normal size.

Bullpadel Hybrid Fly or Vertex Vibram: which should I buy?

Choose the Hybrid Fly if you play two or three times a week and want a lighter shoe. Choose the Vertex Vibram if you train more often and need a sole built to last longer.

How heavy is the Bullpadel Hybrid Fly 26V?

383 grams at EU size 44, according to the retailer we cross-checked.

What outsole does the Bullpadel Hybrid Fly 26V use?

A hybrid sole with a ROTOX pivot system and an X-TRA BASE panel for lateral stability. One retailer names a different sole on its listing, which looks like a template error rather than a real spec difference.
