Tecnifibre Wall Master One Padel Racket (2023)

£46.96

The Tecnifibre Wall Master One padel racket is a round, soft 370 g racket for newer and improving players: Padelful describes a forgiving racket with a generous sweet spot and an easy exit, and most retailers market it for beginners. It has a solid EVA core and a fibreglass and graphite face.

Balance is the unsettled part. Tennis Warehouse and DoIt Tennis give 270 mm, Tennisnuts says even, Padelnuestro says medium-low and iPon Tennis says slightly head-heavy.

What the Wall Master One does well

Padelful scores the sweet spot at 9.5, control at 8.2, rebound at 8.5, manoeuvrability at 8.0 and power at 7.0. It calls the feel soft and accessible rather than sharp or explosive. Those are Padelful's scores, not ours.

The same review is blunt about the limits: limited bite for heavy spin and modest smash power. That is the honest trade for a racket this forgiving. It is built for rallies, defence and keeping the ball in play while you learn.

Balance, level and names

At 370 g and 270 mm the balance is mildly head-light to even, which makes Stringers World's head-heavy label look like the outlier. Most retailers say beginner, one Tennis Warehouse page says intermediate and advanced, and Padelful says newer and intermediate players. We would call it a beginner to intermediate racket.

Tennisnuts sells it as the Wallmaster One, and we list the Wallmaster One separately, alongside the lighter Wallmaster 355. We cannot tell from the sources whether the two are the same racket.

Wall Master One or another Tecnifibre

The Wall Master 370 is the firmer, more advanced round racket at the same weight, the Wall Master 365 is a step lighter, and the Wall Master 355 is lighter again. The Bomba Lite is a soft diamond for players ready for more.
