adidas Speed RX Padel Balls Dozen
£19
The adidas Speed RX padel balls dozen is a multi-tube pack of the same pressurised ball sold in the single tube: about 58 g and 6.75 cm, with a wool and nylon felt over a high-density rubber core. It suits a weekly group that goes through tubes faster than it wants to reorder.
The word dozen means different things. Most UK shops sell it as four tubes of three balls, which is twelve balls. Others sell twelve tubes, or thirty-six balls. Our listing is titled Tube of 3 Dozen, so check the count before you order.

How many balls is a dozen?
WX Padel sells the Speed RX as a four-tube pack of twelve balls. Everything Padel, PDH Sports and Smart Padel UK call theirs a dozen, which UK usage treats as twelve balls too. Justpadel lists twelve sets of three, and Esprit Padel Shop sells a pack of twelve tubes, so thirty-six balls. A case of 24 tubes, at 72 balls, is a third size again.
None of these changes the ball, which is the same one in every pack. It changes what you pay per ball and how much you store. We have not confirmed which of the first two our dozen is, so the owner will check, and you should read the order line before you buy.
Tube, dozen or case?
A tube is one session of padel balls. A dozen keeps a regular group supplied for a few weeks, and you keep unopened tubes sealed until you need them. Our adidas Speed RX tube page covers the ball in detail, and for a club buying a season at once, the Pro Bounce drawer is adidas's bulk option. Babolat's Court dozen is the nearest rival pack.
| Pack | Contents | Pick it if |
|---|---|---|
| adidas Speed RX dozen | 12 or 36 balls, check the count | You play weekly with a group |
| adidas Speed RX tube | 3 balls | You want one session |
| Pro Bounce drawer | 24 cans | You supply a club |
| Babolat Court dozen | Dozen | You prefer a Babolat ball |
Speed RX details from retailer listings; the others are covered on their own pages.
When a dozen is too much
If you play once a fortnight, you will not use a dozen before the balls go flat, and unopened balls lose pressure slowly too. Buy a tube and a pressurizer instead. Balls are one part of the kit: a padel racket that suits your level matters as much, and our guide to choosing a padel racket explains how.
Not for you if
You need to know the exact ball count before ordering, or you play too rarely to use a multi-tube pack. Listings call twelve balls and thirty-six balls a dozen.
