Babolat Padel Ace 3 Ball Tube

£5.50

The Babolat Padel Ace 3 ball tube is a single pack of three Ace balls, for players who want to try Babolat's match ball before committing to a dozen. Babolat's page says the Ace is designed for competitive players, with a felt and rubber build in yellow, FIP approved and made in Thailand.

It does not publish a pressure figure or a lifespan, so we do not either. Treat it as a ball for matches rather than a ball for the ball basket.

One tube, and how it scales

A tube is the low-commitment way to find out whether you like the Ace's feel. If you do, the same ball comes as a dozen, which is four tubes' worth, and some stockists sell it in 36 or 72-ball cases for clubs.

Pressurised balls start to fade once the tube is opened, so buy in a size that fits how often you play. Our padel balls page explains how long a tube stays lively, and the pressurizer range can stretch it.

Ace or Court?

Retailers describe the Ace as the livelier match ball, with a higher bounce and less durability, and the Court tube as the longer-lasting training and recreational one. That is retailer positioning rather than test data, and Babolat itself calls the Ace dynamic and durable, so try both if you play often.

If you only hit with a partner twice a month, the Court is the more economical choice. For league and club matches, check which ball your competition specifies before you buy any.

Who should skip it

Anyone stocking up for coaching or practice, where three balls will not go far and a bigger pack suits better. For a floor full of balls, a pick-up tube helps, and for a racket to hit them with see the padel racket range.

Not for you if

You want a published pressure or lifespan figure. Babolat does not give one, so we cannot either.

Babolat Padel Ace 3 Ball Tube: questions people ask

How many balls are in a Babolat Padel Ace tube?

Three. The Ace X3 is the three-ball pack, and the same ball is sold in dozens and larger cases.

Is the Babolat Padel Ace approved by the FIP?

Babolat lists it as FIP approved. Check the can markings or the FIP approved-ball list before relying on it for sanctioned play.

What is the difference between the Babolat Ace and the Court padel ball?

Retailers describe the Ace as the livelier match ball and the Court as the more durable one. That is retailer wording, not test data.

How long does a tube of Babolat Ace balls last?

Babolat does not publish a figure. Pressurised balls lose life once opened, so plan around a few matches.
